When a devil falls in love, it's the most hauntingly beautiful thing ever.

And one should be terrified, for he will go to the depths of hell for her.

-------------------------

"You don't have to waste your tears for somebody who doesn't deserve it", he spoke wiping her tears again as she hiccuped hiding her face in his chest.

"I don't even know who you are keeping up with him. If my father would've done something like this, I won't have ever seen his face again", She told him as he pulled her closer to his chest.

"Can you hear the rest part?", he whispered in her ears which made her take a deep breath as she pulled away from him.

She wiped her tears before looking at him silently telling him to continue.

-------------------------

Meghna came back to India after five months already excited for her luxurious life ahead with the name Ahlawats behind her. She called on the landline but there was no reply.

Adhiraaj was busier in making sure that his wife was getting everything she wanted in her pregnancy. Surely he was not a great husband and after what he did his child would definitely hate him but he couldn't forget the fact that the baby was his. His blood was flowing in his or her veins.

He tried to talk to his father but he denied to listen to him.

At this time, he didn't even remember Meghna even once. He started his own business with his savings. He didn't want his wife to be dependant on anybody when he was there.

He knew he was the most disgusting man in the world and if Rajshri did something like this with him, he won't have ever forgiven her.

He sighed watching his wife from a distance who was caressing her baby bump.

"Are you going to stay here only", he heard her making him look up in her eyes. She was looking at him with a blank face.

"You know I was here?", he asked as she looked away.

"This baby is very much known of your presence. The moment you come nearby he starts kicking", she spoke sitting on the bench nearby as he maintained his distance.

"Aren't you getting married to your lover", she asked. Her heart was still beating for him and this question enough was breaking her heart.

"I have already hurt you enough. I can't take more hatred from my child. I don't want to bring another woman in my life", he spoke taking few steps back from her.

"What if I was not pregnant? Would you have said the same thing?", she asked him looking in space. His eyes denied looking away from her.

"I have never touched her after we got married if you mean that and now if I think so it wasn't really love, just physical attraction", he spoke looking at the plants around.

"And you destroyed us for physical attraction", she spoke with a sad smile.

"You know what Adhiraaj I thought what we had was powerful but you made me think again and now I realize it was all a drama. The kisses we exchanged when you would be leaving for work and then when you come back", she whispered looking down still having a hand on her baby bump.

She looked at the sky which was getting dark which meant she needed to go inside.

She stood up from her place nearly stumbling when he rushed to her holding her before she fell down. She stared at him in shock before removing his hand from her elbow before walking inside.

She closed her eyes leaning on the wall once she was inside.

"You did that again", her father-in-law spoke walking out of his room which made her look down.

"Rajshri, he betrayed you. How can you forget that? You are not going to forgive him", Laxman Ahlawat spoke looking at her with a dark expression as she nodded.

"I will make sure he never comes around", he spoke once she went to her room.

"If they are coming close why are you stopping them", his wife spoke keeping her hand on his shoulder.

"Rashmi, if it was your daughter in her place would you have said the same thing. And before you answer that", he spoke turning to her.

"Hum jaante hai aapka jawab kya hoga. Toh jhoot mat boliyega"

"I know what will be your answer. So don't lie", he told her firmly as she parted her lips to answer but stopped looking down.

"Exactly", he spoke before walking inside as she followed him to their room.

"I know he is regretting everything and he had not met that woman since the time he left this place. Even he didn't talk to her but the main point is would he continue doing so. The point when he decided to leave Rajshri for another woman, he lost all his respect. Even if he won't have done the same in the future but I can't ignore the fact that he let this thought come to his mind. And the person who could think this dirty, he could do it as well. No matter if that woman made him think that way, I don't care. I never made my son this weak to listen to some other person and take a decision on the basis of it", Laxman said removing his shoes.

"Rajshri's father had been a great friend of mine. He was generous enough to marry her to my son without asking any further questions. She is my responsibility now. You can differentiate between your son and her but I can't do that. My principles won't let me do that", he spoke clearly.

"And she had already said she doesn't want his shadow on her baby, I agree to that", he said removing his coat making his wife frowned.

"What are you thinking?", she asked him.

"The first heir of Ahlawats won't stay with his parents even if they get together in the future. I have lost my trust in Adhiraaj, I won't let him do the upbringing of his son or his daughter on his own. I don't want another member of my family embarrassing me and breaking my pride", he spoke making his wife gasp.

"You mean you will take away the baby from his parents", She asked which made him turn to her.

"He would know everything his father did to his mother when he would be of the perfect age so he won't do the same mistake in his life and end up losing something precious", he announced.

-------------------------

"And the same thing happened. My mother was stupid enough to forgive my father and give her marriage another chance", he spoke as she caressed his cheek. His face was warm which showed how many emotions he was having in-store inside him.

"Dadu, let her take the decision in her life with a promise from Papa that he won't ever let her cry because of him", he spoke as she continued looking at his face.

"You stayed with your grandparents then", she asked as he looked down at her.

"They were not my grandparents for me but my parents. They had been beside me my whole life. My grandfather was strict of course but he was better than my father", he spoke as she placed a kiss on his neck trying to calm him down.

"When did you know about this?", she asked him.

"Till the age of 12, I thought that my grandparents are my real parents. I used to meet my parents once a year and never really bonded with them well. I used to call my grandfather, Pitaji only. But then he told me everything which happened before and I couldn't help but pity and detest my mother to get back with a man like that. She was stronger than that", he spoke nearly choking as she held him tighter.

"But you call him dadu now", she asked him.

"So you don't get confused. I have not really been with Shantanu and Shrishti when they grew up. When I returned back to Chandigarh after Pitaji and Dima, I didn't really want to see my father every day, and the way he tried to come closer to me, it made me feel suffocating. That's why I chose to study abroad away from all this nonsense. And the worst part is I don't think my father still loves my mother", he spoke with a cruel look on his face.

"Don't you think your grandfather was wrong giving medicines to your father", she whispered as he looked at him.

"He can be. I am not denying this. But my grandfather was god for me and everything he did would have a reason behind it. He was a man of words. If it was for him, he could've easily taken my father's side but he chose otherwise and did what was right", he spoke as she sighed.

"You are a splitting image of your grandfather. Both in looks and views", she spoke making him raise his eyebrows.

"I saw his picture in the living room with you", she answered making him sigh.

"Didn't you ever wanted to be with your whole family", she asked in a mere whisper as his eyes hardened as he removed his arms from her moving away slightly. She won't deny she felt hurt at this point when he just pushed her away from him when seconds ago they were so close.

"You had a perfect family, Maya. Don't compare yourself with me", he spoke harshly as she scoffed at his words.

"Perfect? You say I have a perfect family?", she asked making him look at her.

"At least you have seen one happy couple in your life. I didn't see even that", she spoke as he frowned before looking at her.

"What do you mean?", he asked as she took a deep breath.

"I never thought I am going to share this with anyone", she mumbled pushing her hair back.

"You became the reason to get back your parents together. Your mother was ready to get separated from your father if you won't have come into their life. My parents were forced to stay together to have me", she spoke as tears started forming in her eyes

He pulled her in his arms caressing her face as she took a deep breath.

"You wanna share it", he asked as she nodded.

"You shared so much. It would be unfair if I don't say anything", she spoke as he stayed silent waiting for her to continue.

"My father was an addict since the age of 14", she whispered looking down feeling humiliated herself.

"Drinking, smoking, every single thing that I don't even know the name of", she spoke keeping her hands in her lap.

"My grandmother thought to get him married at an early age so he would've responsibility on his shoulder. My mother was not from a well-to-do family while my father belonged from an upper-middle-class family. My grandmother and grandfather were having government jobs. My grandfather had many lands in his name so money was never a problem and that is a reason my father became like this. He was never told to earn. So he started spending. Nobody asked him how much money he was wasting on his addictions and then he got married at the age of 21 with my mother who was still 20 at that point", she said looking down as he continued staring at her face.

"2 years later as well they didn't have any child because of course smoking decreases fertility to a great level but nobody blamed my father on this. It was always my mother. With lots of treatment, my mother conceived me after 3 years of their marriage. But soon after she conceived my father started fearing that if they had a boy child, my grandfather wouldn't think twice before transferring the whole property in his name and my father would get nothing. But again it was me. He used to find reasons to abuse my mother so she would take the stress and in one way or the other she could just lose the baby. Many times he tried to hurt her physically but my grandmother came in-between", she said as tears fell down her cheek.

"He used to pray that my mother would give birth to a stillborn", she said as a sob left her throat.

"But I don't know how after so many tortures and curses, I was born perfectly fine. I won't say my father hated me. In fact, if he ever loved somebody in the world, it has to be me. I have seen him hitting my mother even my grandmother at times. He had hit me as well", she said as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I was 11 back then and he said so mean things to me. I was too innocent to handle them. He threatened me that if I ever went against his words, he would throw me in front of a bus and he wouldn't care as well if I die or survive. The times I would get sick, he would stand in front of my room and shout loudly that I am not going to live anymore. You realize how scary it gets when you are just a 6 year old having a high fever", she spoke crying bitterly as he held her in his arms.

She cried letting all her guards down for the first time in her life.

After an hour or so she got comfortable little in his arms as her eyes started closing with the tiredness and the hour-long crying.

At last, she fell asleep holding his arms tightly. He kissed her forehead softly wiping tears from her soft cheek just then there was a knock on the door making him frown.

He checked the time and it was nearly 12:30. He was worried about who must be there at this point.

-------------------------

So, who is there?

Back to back second update. I surely need a good appreciation for that.

By the way, how was the update? I wanted both of them to let out the sadness inside them in front of each other. They do trust each other now. Don't they?
