She turned to him as he stood there leaning on the door.

"I got a call from your principal, Aarush", he spoke glaring at the little boy who gulped looking down.

"What happened?", she asked him looking at the little boy who was almost in tears.

"Aarush", he called a little harshly as the boy started sobbing. Kimaya felt her heart hurting looking at the heartbreaking scene of the boy crying.

"Baby", she cooed wrapping her arms around him as he wrapped his arms around her hiding his face in her neck.

"I didn't do wrong, Bhabhi", he sobbed as she rubbed his back.

"Aarush", Randhir called as the boy wrapped his arms tighter around her.

"Please calm down", she whispered softly looking at him as he gave a hard look to her before taking Aarush from her.

"What happened?", he asked as the boy sobbed softly.

"He was using bad words for a girl that's why I slapped him", Aarush spoke as Kimaya wiped his tears.

"Slapping was not the right thing to do, right?", Randhir asked as he nodded looking at Kimaya.

"Your Bhabhi is not going to say anything. If anything like this happens again, you are going to tell your teacher or tell me directly", Randhir spoke as he nodded trying to get into Kimaya's arms again. She took him from Randhir kissing his forehead as he hid his face in her neck.

"Baby, you were hungry, right? Don't think about these things", he told him as he mumbled a small yes. She looked at her husband with a hard glare which made him raise his eyebrows.

She fed Aarush with her hands as he silently went to his room with his books.

"Bhabhi, I could literally imagine your child in your arms in place of Aarush", Shantanu said in surprise making Kimaya look at him.

"It is your study time, Shantanu. Shouldn't you go and study", she told him strictly as he cleared his throat before excusing himself.

"Don't you know how to speak to a kid? He did less if it was me, I would've never stopped on a single slap", she told him angrily as he walked to his room while she followed him not liking the idea of being ignored.

"He is a kid. He needs to learn", he spoke entering inside his room losing his tie.

"That is what I mean. He is a kid. You should explain to him in a friendly way. Didn't your heart melt when he was crying?", she asked him as he turned to her removing his expensive black coat putting it on the bed.

"I just want to say that I know you are right. He shouldn't be using violence but still, he is a kid", she stated reminding her words sitting on the bed.

"You packed for our little visit", he told her as she nodded.

"It's Aarush's winter vacation. After this we won't be able to visit", He spoke as she nodded again.

"Now what is it with you and your nodding", he said sitting beside her.

"You don't know how bad I feel. He was crying", she whispered her own voice choking as she felt tears forming in her eyes.

"And you are crying because of this", he said making her lean her head on his shoulder.

"You should've been careful. You need not be rude like that. He is a kid for god sake", she said softly.

"I was scolding him not loving him", he justified as she chose to stay silent not wanted to pull this thing more.

------------------------------

She sighed leaning on her seat as Aarush continued sleeping in her lap. They were currently on their way to this village of his which she heard so much about. Aarush was being stubborn and wanted to travel with her.

They were going to Haryana and she was excited as well. Originally, her mother and grandmother both were from Haryana and she felt so homely when she would visit there.

He stopped the car in the corner before taking Aarush from her and placing him in the back seat making her lie properly so he could sleep. He turned a little in his sleep when Randhir patted his chest.

"You care for him", she stated with a small smile as he got back inside the car wearing his seatbelt.

"He is my younger brother. What do you expect me to do?", he asked as she rolled her eyes, he can never answer a simple question without acting rude. He continued driving.

"You need to cover your face with the veil", he said as they entered the village. She could see people around welcoming them with the flowers. She felt so good at the sight as she covered her face with the veil.

She was currently wearing a heavy pink saree with the heavy veil covering her face. He stopped the car in front of a big mansion. It was bigger than the place they stayed more traditional, majestic and royal.

He got down before walking to her side and opening the door for her. She kept her hands in his offered ones before getting down. She felt people showering flowers on them making a smile cover her lips.

She found Reema coming to her side. Her face was also covered with the veil as her husband picked Aarush up from the back seat.

Randhir helped her walking in the heavy clothes by holding her hand as an old lady was standing at the entrance with a silver plate. They did her Grehpravesh with a big smile as Randhir stood beside her all the while.

He himself was wearing a dark blue long coat complementing his muscles body properly with cream-colored pants looking handsome as ever.

"Rajshri ji, Dulhan ki muhdikhai kar le?"

"Rajshri can we see the face of the bride right now?", An old woman asked Randhir's mother who nodded after looking at Randhir who blinked his eyes once indicating his acceptance.

The ladies continued lifting her veil one by one giving her different compliments and continued gifting her different things. She was tired as hell. Finally, everything was done as people started talking to each other forgetting her which she was thankful for.

She found Aarush coming to her as he raised her veil lightly making sure nobody could see her except him.

"Bhabhi, Where is Mumma?", he asked looking around.

"Baby, she must be around doing some work", she told him as he pouted climbing in her lap all ready to sleep again.

"You are sleepy again", she smiled lightly at his cute acts. He nodded his head.

"Chote Malik, Bride must be tired. I will make you sleep", A beautiful young girl came to take him from her.

"Bhabhi, are you tired of me?", he asked looking at Kimaya with sad eyes. She smiled kissing his cheek before shaking her head.

"He is fine. You don't have to do anything", Kimaya said with authority as she felt a hard glare at her. She looked up to find the girl coldly looking at her.

"What is your name?", she asked.

"Aisha Malhotra", The girl spoke timidly as a small smile came on Kimaya's lips. This was what she was waiting for.

"Didn't I told you to never step foot in my house again", Kimaya heard her husband from behind her. She turned to find him glaring at the girl standing in front of her. She wanted to stand but Aarush was in her arms and she didn't want to disturb him.

"Bade Malik, I thought to be a part of your welcoming celebration", an older woman came by her side holding Aisha's elbow.

"I don't care about anything. When I told you, you are not going to step foot inside my house or even show your face to me you are not going to come here", he spoke as Kimaya stared at the pair in front of her who were literally shivering under his gaze.

Was she going to interrupt him?

No..

Was she scared?

Not at all.

Was she happy with the way he was treating them?

She would be lying if she say otherwise. He was known to their history or what they did to him, she didn't think it was her right to speak in between.

The duo nodded in fear before walking out.

"He is going to sleep. Every other thing is done. You go and take rest", he instructed looking at the half-closed eyes of his brother.

"I don't know where to go", she whispered looking at him as he took Aarush in his arms.

"Come", he told walking upstairs holding her hands as she followed him silently.

"It will take some time for Chachi to get free. You can sleep with him right?", he asked her as she nodded feeling sleepy herself.

"What about my clothes", she asked him as he entered the slightly traditional yet spacious room having huge wooden doors which looked equally heavy.

She looked around the room to find it painted in a combination of red and white. She felt warm inside the room as he placed Aarush on the bed.

"The clothes are in the closet", he spoke pointed at a certain room as she nodded. He was about to walk out when she held his wrist.

"When are you going to come back?", she said looking at his face as he stared back at her with an emotionless face.

"As soon as all things are taken care of. You don't worry and rest", he spoke caressing her cheek as she nodded. He left and she continued staring at the way he left. She sighed cursing how she was letting him play with her mind.

She went to the closet and got changed in a light Anarkali lying beside Aarush. She placed her hand on his chest patting him lightly covering his other side with pillows to make sure he don't fall down. She sighed closing her eyes as finally, sleep overtook her.

------------------------------

She stared at the full moon wrapping the shawl around her. It was pretty cold but the night sky was as usual comforting. The large balcony provided her the luxury to stare at the night beauty leaning both hands on the wooden railing looking at the sky. A small smile covered her lips as she remembered the time she used to spend at her home doing the same.

She was too lost in her world that she didn't acknowledge the person standing in dark behind her staring at her with his arms crossed leaning on the wall.

She gasped softly when she felt hands tracing her exposed arms and finally resting on her hands which were holding the railing. She turned to find her husband behind her staring at the sky as well with his chin on her shoulder.

She didn't say anything just enjoyed the warmth his body provided to her.

"What changed?", he asked after 15 minutes which made her stare at him to find his face very close to hers.

"What are you talking about?", she asked looking into his eyes as he diverted his gaze from the sky to her staring deeply into her eyes.

"From the day, we got together, you always pushed me away but today you didn't do the same", he asked as she stared into his eyes. He looked curious enough to know the answer making a smile cover her lips.

She removed her hand which was placed under his before making him wrap his hands around her waist. She leaned back in his arms looking back at him again only to find his eyes focussing on hers.

"From the day we got together, you only tried to force yourself on me, to control me. I never felt safe in your arms that was the reason I pushed you away", she whispered looking at him.

His slightly tanned skin glowing under the moonlight.

"You don't feel forced today", he asked in his usual heavy controlling tone which made her shake her head.

"I feel the warmth I always sought", she spoke turning in his arms wrapping her arms around him placing her head on his chest.

"When will we leave?", she asked in a slow vulnerable voice making him frown.

"You don't want to be here", he asked but she didn't answer.

"I am not getting good vibes. It seems like people don't like me", she spoke after a good pause as he tightened his arms around her placing his chin on her head.

"You don't need them to like you as well. They are not going to take decisions of my life", he spoke as she pulled away looking at him.

"You seem to be in a good mood", she asked as he looked down at her before pecking her lips making her blink a few times trying to register what happened.

"Ask whatever you want?", he said staring at her. She sighed before walking inside. He frowned before following her inside.

"I am not going to ask you about your ex-girlfriends because it's not the right time", she spoke turning to him as he settled on the king-size bed having the white bedsheet over it and red comforter nicely folded on the corner of the bed.

"Your father", she spoke making him stare at her. She sat beside him holding his hand.

"I know something is off between you and your father. I want to know", she spoke as he continued looking at her for a moment.

She knew something was up and she wanted to be known to the fact why he stayed away from his father.
