She stared at him knowing very well there was something he was hiding from her. She needs to push him a little more to know the truth.
She could never forget how he treated her in these few days. How many times did he try to humiliate her touching her in the wrongest way possible? She remembers everything.
She knows very well how weak a person gets while showing his vulnerable side to the other person. How much trust does it take? She was going to make sure he trust her whatever it takes now. Even if she had to get closer to him for that, she would make him trust her. She would make him weak in front of her to tell her his all secrets. That would be the moment when she could humiliate him enough for what he did.
No man is having the right to torture a woman because they have the physical strength and she was going to make sure he knows this after the end of this game.
She found him scary at the moment but she needed to handle things properly.
She kept her hand on his as his eyes fall on her trying to gauge her reaction.
"If we are going to stay together, we need to share things with each other", she spoke looking at him with a small smile.
He pulled his hands away from her grip as the waiter placed the dosa in front of them.
"Dosa? Really?", she asked with raised eyebrows. He shrugged his shoulder simply picking up his knife and fork. She looked at him with a deep frown. Who eats a dosa with a knife and fork?
"You can't be serious", she asked him as he stopped raising his eyebrows at her.
"Aren't you interrupting me too much these days?", he asked her not liking her interruption again and again.
"Of course, I need to interrupt you when you don't even know how to eat a dosa properly. You are not enjoying your meal", she spoke before breaking a piece of her dosa dipping it in the sambhar before offering it to him. He stared at her face before looking at the piece in her hand near his lips.
"Eat it", she spoke blinking her eyes as if telling him she didn't add any poison in it.
He parted his lips as she pushed the dosa piece in his mouth before coming back to eating her food patiently. He was trying to observe her every move. To know why she was behaving so friendly suddenly.
She really enjoyed the breakfast as they came out of the cafe. The weather was colder now as they walked back having their thoughts to themself.
---------------------------
She continued walking down the snowy road. She could feel tiredness taking over my body but before that, she was feeling guilty for playing with somebody's feelings.
She was not this. She was never someone who enjoys others' pain but this man-made her this.
She hated him for the way he manipulated her, the way he forced her to do things according to his wishes, he was just so.. so... 'bad'.
"I will come in a minute", he spoke before walking back leaving her alone not even letting her say anything. Not that she was going to say something as well.
She twisted her lips narrowing her eyes at his back till the point she couldn't see him anymore.
She sat on the two-side bench near the road waiting for him to return. She was too busy in her thoughts when she heard giggling. She turned to find a couple sitting on the other side of the bench.
"What did you like in me when you said yes for the marriage?", she heard the male said making her roll her eyes. However, her husband was she was thankful that he didn't ask her such cheesy questions. The girl must have said yes because she saw something in you, you idiot. But I highly doubt, it's not your maturity.
"You are cute", the girl said shyly. Kimaya pressed her lips together feeling highly uncomfortable sitting here. She didn't want to be a part of their cheesy romance. She stood up from her place and thought to roam around when she found him coming back with his phone pressed on his ear.
He reached her before holding her hands and pulling her with him.
"Your hands are cold", he spoke after hanging up.
"It's cold here and I am sensitive to cold", she spoke as a matter of fact. He sighed before interlinking their hands and pushing them in his pocket. She sighed feeling the warmth she needed.
"Where did you go?", she asked him as he looked at her. She raised her eyebrows at him expecting him to answer.
"I met somebody I knew", he spoke making her nod.
"I need to call Mumma", she spoke after a moment of silence.
"I didn't see you talking to her for a long time. She must be worried", he answered which made her sigh. Unknowingly she bend her head on his arm feeling tired of balancing things.
"I don't think I was ready to get married this early", she spoke suddenly but he continued to stay silent.
"I sometimes feel like I am doing justice to nobody. Everybody loves me so much and I am unable to return back the same feeling", she mumbled walking like a puppet beside him.
"Maybe you are just expecting too much from yourself", he wondered making her pout.
"I don't know. You know on the day of our mehendi, Shivani asked me if I Love You or not", she asked making him look at her. But only her hair was visible which was hiding her face from his eyes and on top of that, her half face was hidden in his arm.
"And you answered her?", he asked her wanting to know her feelings.
"I did. She expected me to say yes but I knew very well that was not the case so why would I even lie. I don't even know if I love my own family", she spoke tiredly.
"I just care for them", she spoke as they finally reached the place they are staying.
"When you care about a person that means you love him as well", he spoke as she narrowed her eyes at him.
"That means if we are scared that a beggar would die in the cold that means we love him as well", she asked as he raised his one eyebrow trying to get her logic.
"That you idiot girl is sympathy not care", He hissed making her close her mouth immediately. She never thought he would answer like that.
"I am going to sleep. Good Night", she spoke before running inside nearly bumping in the table as he shook his head. Who did he marry?
-------------
She turned in her sleep removing the soft pillow between and sleeping on the hard cushion beside her. She was more comfortable in the warmth provided. She hid her face in the same before falling asleep again. It was so cold outside which was so opposite to her taste.
He opened his eyes immediately as she snuggled her head in his chest. He raised his eyebrows at the way she got herself comfortable on top of him.
He was thankful for the fact that he was a light sleeper and looking at her he was sure she was a heavy one. He sighed picking up his phone and checking the mails as his wife continued to sleep on top of him.
He messaged her mother about them being in Shimla. He knew she was feeling bad that she was feeling bad for not talking to her family. He frowned when her phone vibrated.
No message from so long? 🙄->Angad
He frowned as his eyes traveled to his wife sleeping peacefully in his arms.
I thought you would need your bridal pictures. You looked really beautiful.😋 -> Angad
Randhir's eyes were reading every single message with a blank face. His hands started caressing her hair unknowingly as he continued looking at her phone.
I know you are reading this. And I know you always look beautiful but at least speak to me. It's been so long since I heard your beautiful voice😅 ->Angad
Randhir stared at his beautiful wife before caressing her jaw softly as she breathed in relief.
He stared at the screen before choosing to answer in her place. His fingers worked on the keypad professionally before sending the message.
I am Randhir Ahlawat -> Kimaya
There was no message for few moments before a message popped up.
Why are you on her phone? -> Angad
This message itself made him angry. Why won't he be there? She was his wife. She was meant to be with him and this guy was just crossing his boundary again and again.
He threw her phone aside on the bed pulling her closer to him. His eyes were in the space thinking ways to kill this stupid guy.
------------------------------
She stood on the terrace trying to observe and save this beauty in her mind.
Shimla was definitely a beautiful place to be. She sighed rubbing her arms feeling cold.
She heard some sounds from behind her making her turn to her dear husband who was speaking to god-knows whom with anger dripping down his words.
"You can't even take care of these small things. Why am I paying you?", he spoke coldly as she rolled her eyes before walking downstairs and checking her phone to call her mother only to stop.
"Why would he say something like this?", she mumbled before calling Angad.
"Kimaya", he spoke happily.
"Angad, how dare you speak to Randhir like that? What does it have to do with you if he is replying to the messages and what kind of messages are these? You know I don't like these kinds of things. I always told you to never call me beautiful or cringy stuff. People will think wrong about it", she spoke angrily.
"You are going to speak like that with me for a guy you came to know a few months ago", Angad asked angrily.
"The guy you are talking about is my husband. Do you understand that? You are just a friend and you have no right to question me about something like this. However long we know each other but still, the relationship I am having with him is more valuable to me", she spoke strictly.
"Sorry", he spoke before hanging up. She sighed before putting her phone on the dining table in irritation massaging her head.
He didn't speak to her about any of this thing. Why?
She shook her head before picking her phone up and blocking Angad's number before deleting his number.
She needed to talk to Randhir about these things. She didn't want him to think wrong about her or any misunderstandings between them. She prepared a coffee for both of them. She wanted to talk patiently.
She walked upstairs to find him still busy attending his call.
She waited till the time he continued his call but she did give him his cup which he took without even looking at her. He hung up and turned to her wanting her to continue. She twisted her lips.
"I wanted to talk", she spoke looking at him.
"About what?", he asked with raised eyebrows. She thoughts about all the pros and cons of having this conversation but again it was important.
"You spoke to Angad", she stated looking down feeling wrong for the first time in front of him. She should've already known his intentions.
"I did. A handsome guy I must say. I saw him at our marriage", he spoke sipping on his drink looking distantly. Her eyes fall on his hands which were fisted. He put it in his pocket not wanting to show her how angry he was.
"I didn't know he had any intentions towards me", she breathed out as his eyes fell on her wanting to understand the meaning of her words. Why was she even explaining when he didn't ask her anything?
"He was just a friend for me and trust me though I have always acted against you but still I respect you a lot for who you are. Though I said many things to you when you tried to touch... Never mind but I have always been", she was saying when he interrupted her by touching her lower lips.
"Your lips are getting dried. Apply some lip balm on them", he stated as she frowned.
"I am telling you something", she spoke as he took the cup from her hands and kept it aside. She continued to look at his movement with a frown on her forehead before he pulled her closer to him by her waist making her gasp and hold his shoulders for support.
"You think I care about these things. This stupid boy who you referred to as your friend. I am not that low. At least look at him and then me. I am Randhir Ahlawat. The world knows me and who is that guy? No one in front of me. There is no comparison between me and on top of that, you are wearing my name nuptial chain around your neck. Moreover, you try to be bold in front of me but you don't have the guts to cheat on me", he spoke looking deeply into her eyes.
"You are overconfident", she spoke making him laugh. One which sends shivers down her spine.
"Trust me wife its confidence. Overconfidence is not my thing. Wherever you would go running away from me, you would find me at the end of your road. I am your ultimate destination. Deny it however much you want", he spoke caressing her cheek staring passionately at her. She continued staring into his eyes trying to understand the meaning of his heavy words.
He placed his hand on top of her which was placed on his shoulder and pulled her closer to him making her gulp. He dipped his head wrapping his arms tightly around her waist.
For the first time since they met, she anticipated his touch. His lips touched her as she continued to stay frozen at her place too overwhelmed to react. His lips moved against hers as he made her wrap her hands around his neck and like a puppet she did what he wanted wrapping her arms around him pulling his face for better access.
At last, she melted in his touch. He pulled away after a minute staring at her red face. Her eyes were still closed with her body shivering with the sudden whirlpool of emotion as he placed his forehead on hers calming his breaths and watching her calming hers as well.
Her red face made him think about only one thing.
Rose. That too a delicate one with sharp thorns around it. Her attitude.

Honestly, I was not going to update today but then again I am here.
A little jumbled up chapter I know but it was important to justify the emotions of the protagonists.
