The next morning, Felix can't believe he's agreeing with this by letting Adrien as a rat in the school bag to hide so he can observe the changes in the school.

"Quiet!" Felix whispered yelling at him to stop squeaking.

"Okay," Rat Adrien whispered.

They came to the boiler room so Adrien could morph back.

"Just be done near 3. Pretend you're a kid out of a country. I don't know. Just don't give out suspicion. There's one that likes to spread gossip and rumors for her blog. Like a reporter" Felix said.

"Okay, okay. I get the concept. I already told you that Cerise is Lila, the same person that cursed me. Her lair is full of wigs to hide from the world" Adrien said.

"At least I know what the fake Cerise looks like. That is why you're gonna play her game by doing what she does" Felix hands him the black wig and blue contacts for his eyes.

"What?" Adrien raised a brow.

"Do you want to blend in as the living ancestor to freak out everyone to think you came back from the dead as a zombie?" Felix gives him a dumb suggestion of what's gonna happen.

"No, just being your cousin" Adrien puts the wig on.

"I barely have cousins around my age," Felix said.

"Yes, but physically I'm your age" Adrien puts the contacts on.

"Your real mortal age is over 130 years old, your immortal age made you stop at age 16. There's a difference" Felix said, making him turn around just to put on the shirt for him.

"Yep. Eternal youth" Adrien said.

"And stay away from windows. You'll get roasted to death" Felix makes him turn around again to look at his face to be sure he's not like himself.

"Ok. And now what?" Adrien asked.

"You will have to choose a fake name. Maybe Aiden, I don't care. Just don't screw it up like you are a traditionalist obsessed with the past" Felix said.

"Yeah, you're right," Adrien said.

"And don't let that bitch catch your ass. For a cat with nine lives, I think you lost all of them a long time ago" Felix said.

"I doubt that," Adrien said.

"Then don't screw up it up. And here's the picture of what your favorite bitch is now" Felix hands him the last year's school photo of her with short pixie hair and brown eyes, "If you say she's wearing a wig, it won't be easy for me, or anyone to see that"

"I'll be careful, Felix" Adrien said.

"And don't attract attention with sunlight sizzling your skin. It would probably make girls think you're smoking hot and sexy. Literally" Felix said.

"Yeah right" Adrien replied.

"Well, it is. Girls always find me attractive all the time at school. I suppose it could happen to you too. We both look identical" Felix said before leaving the boiler room, "And for the record, they will probably think you do have a sexy ass"

"Mmhmm. Only a certain bug would say that" Adrien said.

Coming out of the boiler room, he made sure to stay away from the windows for the sun to shine through, especially reflected things like mirrors. Fortunately, it was gonna get cloudy at noon.

Adrien came to the library so he could increase his knowledge to understand this new world. He picks out a book about 20th-century France. He read through it and saw the articles about World War 1 and 2. Those wars were very chaotic and millions of lives were lost when it came to wars that were much more advanced than the wars he had known from his time, especially with his grandfather who used to be at war. He also read through how WW2 ended with the atomic bombs in Japan. They call it the mushroom cloud and the biggest record in the history of how big it became from the sky to the ground. The bombs used were the Fat Man and Little Boy.

"What the hell happened like this while I was gone?" Adrien asked himself before going to the 1960s page where a man declared a stop to black slavery and being equal.

"Martin Luther King Jr" He read out his name.

He then looks through his history and how he was killed in 1968. Going into the 80s when the Soviet Union was made and there was a familiar face of Felix's father Colt Fathom in the military picture that put a stop to the Soviet Union.

"There he is" He reads through his info. He was a rich American billionaire and a military man.

"So he's from America," Adrien said.

And coming to 2001, New York faced the tragedy of the Twin Towers being destroyed. Thousands of people died during the attack, and in 2004 a great tsunami hit several countries in the Indian Ocean. Even one that hit Louisiana of America became a world record in 2005.

"By Hurricane Katrina" He read.

The world was still corrupted but it's always balanced between creation and destruction. Every balance provides life and death. One life ends, another begins.

"The world can't always be perfect," He said.

He then goes to technology history like phones, cars, computers, and anything that the world discovered over a century.

"Hmmmm.....so steam engines went over to electric and diesel, cars replaced horse carriages and so forth," Adrien said.

Very old phones became cell phones to screen touch phones like the one Felix was carrying around; they were either Samsungs or iPhones.

Computers go way back by the time it went from typewriting to a new advanced technology laptop for social media, chats, games, and anything to help a life entertainment.

"That's a lot to process," He said.

Just then a girl with blue and streak pink hair in pigtails came in, dressed in goth clothing. It nearly made his undead heart pulse through his veins like love gives him life.

She walks past him but suddenly stops, "Excuse me are you new here?"

"Uhhhh.....yes? Ummm.....hi" Adrien stammered shyly.

"Well welcome here. The name's Marinette Dupain Cheng" Marinette said.

"Aiden.......Bastet" Adrien lied for his fake name but then her name rang a bell by Ladybug mentioning it. It was the girl she was talking about.

"Nice to meet you," She said before walking away to grab a book for her studies, not interested in a boy she just met like 5 seconds ago.

"Thanks" Adrien resumed reading.

But of course, seeing a girl wearing pants than the ones he saw in his time wearing dresses, it was as if fashion style in girls like her was a revolutionary. But he shrugs it off to not make a scene.

He goes to the computer to play with so he can understand more about technology, "Okay, Let's see how this works" He presses the start button.

It wasn't as easy as he thought it was but when he dragged the mouse, he saw a strange arrow moving on screen at the exact moment. He glanced at other students doing what they were doing with the computers.

It took him 10 minutes to get the hang of it as he started to like watching videos on YouTube. It was more entertaining for him than from his old ways. No wonder these people get distracted with their screen phones in public. He clicked on one video of a cat following a red dot. It made him chuckle at this as he went for another hilarious video.

He heard a commotion outside of the library and decided to go see what it was, hoping he wouldn't get caught by anyone thinking he was a monster.

"Hey? What's going on?!" He goes out to see.

"Chloe that bitch tormenting her again!" A student said with frustration.

"I'll ask one last time, emo! You were talking to a boy in the library! Who was he?!" Chloe demanded an answer at the locker Marinette being cornered.

"I don't know!" Marinette begged her to stop.

Adrien nearly lost his temper; now he understands why Felix describes Chloe as a selfish brat like she can do whatever she wants and if someone gets in her way, she can get her father to force the principal to expel anyone without a hearing.

"Don't lie to me Marinette! Tell me or I'll get you expelled!" Chloe shouted and nearly slapped Marinette.

"That's enough!" Adrien caught her wrist.

"Do you know who I am?! I can get my daddy to remove you from school, loser!" Chloe tried to remove him but he did not let go due to how strong he was.

Adrien does his hypnosis to shut her up and make her obey his command, "I don't like selfish brats like you tormenting innocents like your own entertainment. Say you're sorry to her or the world will see you as the monster you already are"

He made her turn to face that some were recording and ready to broadcast. Chloe then turns after Adrien lets her go to face Marinette.

"My apologies Marinette. I really got too carried away and overreacted" Chloe said in her trance.

"I don't need your help" Marinette glared at him, "Or your apology. You'll never change at all" She glared at Chloe, unaware that she was in a trance.

Classmates were murmuring and Felix saw everything too and quickly dragged Adrien away from the crowd before everyone posted their recordings online.

"What did you do?" Felix whispered.

"Just some hypnosis trickery" Adrien whispered back.

"Are you crazy?! They were all recording you! What if you can't appear in photos or films?!" Felix had to make sure he could appear in them by using his phone and when he did, Adrien could appear in photo and film.

"Thank goodness," He said in relief.

"But not in mirrors," Adrien said.

"Do you have any idea you'll get noticed as something you're not?!" Felix said.

"Nobody noticed I hypnotized her" Adrien assured.

"They were recording you, dumbass! They post their recordings on social media for the world to see! This world has changed a lot!" Felix said before he saw Marinette staring at them.

"Hello," Adrien nervously waved at her.

"Why did you get involved? Chloe is the mayor's daughter. She could force the principal to expel you!" Marinette was very angry now.

"Someone has to stand against her someday. Also. what she does is abuse of power" Adrien said.

"She has diplomatic immunity!" Marinette said in frustration at how the dumbass can forget.

"Uhh.....Marinette. He's the new guy here. He came from......London! Yeah, London. French and Chinese were his favorite when he decided to move here to Paris!" Felix trying to cover his tracks to not get his living ancestor suspicious.

"Hmph! Whatever. It was nice of you to stand up for me but Chloe is not the only problem here" Marinette leaves to head outside.

"Bro?" Felix can see Adrien looking at her walk away in a goofy way.

"Huh? What?" Adrien snaps out of it.

"You were looking at her like you want to make her your vampire bride," Felix said.

"No way!" Adrien denied.

"You were thinking about it. You don't stand a chance with her" Felix drags him in the boiler room since Adrien can't go through sunlight outside nor get past the bodyguard picking up Felix.

"No one stands a chance against me, Felix," Adrien said.

"This is different. Ever since her crush on Kim last year, it was very traumatizing for her by what he did to her with that prank Chloe suggested, she went from joyful to anti-social goth girl. Chloe was the cause of this and Marinette still lives with that pain by being...... cold-hearted" Felix explained why Marinette is a little.....bitch towards boys she comes across.

"Seems he needs to be taught a lesson for listening to that Chloe" Adrien said.

"No," Felix said.

"What?" Adrien said.

"I know what you're thinking. For a vampire like you that seems to enjoy biting necks too much" Felix said.

"I'm more than just a vampire who bites necks," Adrien said.

"In the bag, now" Felix gestured to his school bag.

"Fine" Adrien morphs into a rat to hide.

"You're right that you're more than that. Paw Noir died a long time ago but Claw Noir was reborn" Felix said before heading out of the boiler room.

Night approached and Marinette was on her balcony, thinking of that vampire punk cat. Did he really suffer a lot like she did? He did literally miss out his whole life after being trapped for over a century. And he's all alone with his family dead and if he has descendants living, it just won't help him feel like he belongs to a living family.

She heard purring near her, "Greetings, Princess" It was Claw Noir on the roof.

"Who the hell are you?" Marinette knows who he is but he never met her civilian self.

"I'm Claw Noir" He creeps down on all fours to her.

"Stay back!" Marinette held her flower pot as a weapon.

"Relax, I'm not gonna eat you like some mouse," Claw Noir said.

"Your looks and spooky purple eyes speak louder than your mouth!" Marinette did not believe him.

"Ah, you're feisty. I love it. But seriously, I'm telling the truth. I heard today that this evil witch at school gave you a hard time" Claw Noir said.

"Were you spying on me?!" Marinette did not like to be stalked by psychos like him.

"Kind of" Claw Noir said.

"This new guy said something to Chloe and suddenly she became apologetic" Marinette explained Chloe's sudden new behavior.

"Or puuuurrrrrhaps she said that to save her reputation from being ruined" Claw Noir lied at the fact he was the one to hypnotize her since he got angry at Chloe.

"It still doesn't excuse her for ruining my life with Kim, my former crush," Marinette said.

"Is that why you hate boys? You can't hate forever, princess" Claw Noir said.

"Don't call me that. And yes, I will continue to hate them until they get the message that I'm not a dumbass to them" Marinette scoffed.

"I can tell you're too insecure and self-loathing" Claw Noir replied.

"Of course I am! I'm mentally and emotionally damaged" Marinette glared.

"If you keep this going, you'll have no one to help but yourself" Claw Noir started off sternly.

"Because anxiety stops me from trying, dark cat. Anxiety is like a ticking bomb in your body to spread panic attacks of PTSD. You think that's easy to try again?" Marinette asked.

"Of course, it's not easy but it takes time. Anyway, I just came here to make sure you're okay. Someone told me that Chloe's father is a terrible mayor only pleasing his wife and daughter instead of caring about Paris. Should there be a city council to do something about it?" Claw Noir asked, hoping he could do something about it without causing suspicion.

"There should have been one" Marinette sighs.

"A city manager? Impeachment? Anything to fire a mayor?" Claw Noir asked.

"I'm not sure how I would do it. If he resigns, Chloe has no power" Marinette said.

"And she won't. The thing about freedom is whoever is taking away everyone's freedom is Chloe. The question is, has she ever been grounded, punished, or even disciplined by her parents all her life?" Claw Noir asked.

"She never has been. Her mother's just like her" Marinette said.

"That's bullshit. That explains why she has no care at all without learning to be disciplined. Well, princess, sometimes you gotta learn to show her who's boss or forever get controlled by her. Like dogs and cats finding freedom from abusive people" Claw Noir said.

"One stood up against her without hesitation. Whoever he was, Chloe would one day target anyone who was against her. I'm still her favorite target because everyone loves my parents' bakery than her pathetic self like she claims to be adored just because her father is the mayor. No one gives a shit about it" Marinette explains why everyone is so against Chloe's constant torment.

"This city really changed when Paw Noir disappeared," Claw Noir said.

"Yup. But Ladybug is doing everything she can to protect the city. I suppose you are trying to steal her spot" Marinette said, testing his jealousy.

"No! I'm not!" Claw Noir replied.

"She's a badass you know. Getting your ass involved would get you killed" Marinette said.

"Vampires got greater strength, I was just holding back facing her," Claw Noir said.

"Bullshit" Marinette pretends to not believe he is.

"Wanna bet?" He lifts her up with just one hand.

"Whoa! Put me down! Put me down please!" Marinette freaked out.

"Now do you believe me?" Claw Noir chuckled before putting her down.

"Don't you dare try to sink your evil teeth in me or your fangs will be like a shark tooth necklace!" Marinette glared at him.

"I won't. I respect your freedom, Marinette, and I understand if you want to be alone from other guys" Claw Noir remained calm.

Marinette made a disbelieving look with her brow raised like he could be a good guy.

"Look, I'm trying to be a hero like Paw Noir was, only with fangs and claws," Claw Noir said.

"Your look makes you look like a villain cat. Not even that charming" Marinette wasn't scared of his scary look.

"In that case an anti-villain. I'm gonna prove to Ladybug I can live up to Paw's legacy" Claw Noir said.

"And what? Become a legend?" Marinette said.

"Not quite, a true superhero" Claw Noir replied.
