Shan asked one of the maids to get him a glass of water, she left and I glanced at her sensing something strange.

I excused myself and followed her to the kitchen, the lady bring out bottled water from the fridge and emptied it Inside an empty glass.
She placed it on a tray and turned around to see me staring at her.

"Sir, do you need anything?".
She interrogated.

I didn't alter a single word and scanned her thoroughly, there was something strange about this lady, I don't know if I was being paranoid but I'm certain my instincts are right.

I had her drop the glass back on a wooden chair, she did that right after trying to fight her words with me.

"Tell me miss, when did you start working here?
I asked her.

"I've been here for five years sir, I'm an old employee,"
She expressed.

I wasn't sure to accept whatever she just said, luckily Alina comes back with Riya, I mined my eyes to the living room and from the kitchen yelled out her name.

"Yes Adam, what's going on?

Riya walks in with her, she stood at the back and I grabbed her inquiring about the strange worker at home.
To me she news or maybe I haven't been paying heed to shuns maids and come to think of it, it's been over a year since I came to visit my friend.

Alina interrogated the lady there, she seems to have gotten every answer to Alina's questions.
It got her convinced but I wasn't.
I had to ask Alina to bring in shuns cup of water, I just can't trust the maid under any circumstances.

We all walked into his room and Shun was still on the bed wearing a normal look on his face.

Riya ran and held her from getting knocked down by a stool on the way.

Alina falls to her knees and cried bitterly.
I rose from the bed and walked to her, I consoled her and she ends up ringing a piece of shocking news to my ears.

Unfortunately, shun was killed by a whiteish substance that can be found in remote areas.
It was like a poison that when administered gradually can kill the individual within a short period.
Now the question remains, who might be shunned and succeeded in killing him?

Shun is an alpha, just like me, and killing one of us is like sending a distressing message to the others, someone is out there and has got a dangerous plan.
