I hurriedly left to stop her from consuming the human flesh, the light went off on my way and I sensed danger around.
"What's going on?"
I turned all around and there was nothing but darkness.
My phone was In my back pocket and I deep down to catch it.
I pulled it out then suddenly people at the party began to scream.
I had no clue what was happening, I switched on the light on my phone just to find a demon creature running past my light and jumping out of the window.
The lights came on and I met half of the guests who died, something said, what about Rona?
I searched for her hoping nothing had happened, thankfully I found her hiding under the table with her hands on both ears.
"Rona! Come on,"
I pulled her out from under the table and she gets star stuck at the scene.
The host of the show ran out and almost fainted seeing what had happened.
"No! This can't be happening?".
Drake said.
I heard and turned to him.
"Look, didn't I tell you not to throw a party, you're so stubborn, now see what has happened?".
I yelled, forgetting Nora's curious gaze was on me.

Drake sends for the dead bodies to be carried outside.
"Adam can we talk, it's quite urgent"
He says, staring at my eyes at Rona.
I asked Rona to seat at a spot I clearly showed her and I left with Drake. The other leaders were also present there and they all witnessed what happened.

"Please tell me, what's going on?"
Adam slammed his hands on his face.
"What was that thing out there?"
He added.

Everyone went quiet, cause we don't know what that was, but finding the truth was something we needed, because if things continue this way, whatever that's Killing us won't stop.

Drake showed how disgusted he was and swore to find out the truth, even though it takes his life.
It's the first time, Drake has ever wanted to do something without actually being asked to

We left the meeting after agreeing to send scouts around the city to find out anything strange...
I came to Rona and she wasn't where I asked her to.
I turned around and Luckily found her walking to the car packed outside.
I ran after her.
"Rona, please hold on,"
I screamed. I placed my hand on her shoulders but she gets irritated by that and slapped my hands away...
"Don't you touch me"
She warned, holding me in a fearful look.
" Rona, what's going on?". I asked.
"Don't you know," she replied, "who're you, Mr. Adam Khan," she added...

Being asked that question brought out memories I fought so hard to forget.
However Rona wasn't the first person to ask me such a question, a lot have even in high school and college.
People have proven me to be utterly awkward from the res.
They made fun of me and called me, an awkward boy, just because I looked and acted differently.

I couldn't possibly tell myself that I wasn't human and that I am a werewolf, it's a bad idea that will lead to bad consequences in the end.
But the only person that knew and never minded who I was, would be my ex-wife.
You can say, maybe she was my mate, and that's why she didn't run away like the others...

Can I say the same thing about Rona, will she stay or vanish as the others did, just because I wasn't human?

I'm confused to find out her reaction.
