Sonakshi was squirming on the bed as she was woken up from her sleep with kisses on her cheeks.

"Dev!!!! What are you doing?? You have tortured me so much yesterday night! At least let me sleep for a few more minutes please" Sonakshi whined as she pulled the duvet fully, covering her nakedness from her husband.

"Sonakshi...It's getting late. Did you see the time? Come on, get up! We have to go home and I need to go to work!" he smiled still placing kisses on her neck.

"Ok fine....I will change. Leave the room now." she said, gripping the sheets tightly around her while he gave her an amused look.

"Seriously? Come on Sona... There is nothing I haven't seen yet. What are you still hiding from me?" he chuckled as Sonakshi threw the pillow at him.

"Dev I know you are shameless but I can't do this. For god's sake, its already morning, Dev!" she huffed, making Dev burst out into laughter again.

"Hmm so you are not coming out? Ok fine! If you are not coming out in a minute, I am going to forcefully remove the duvet off from you." he threatened and Sonakshi's eyes widened.

"Dev... Please don't do this. At least help me take my clothes from the floor na?" she pouted while Dev was just having fun teasing her.

"Uhuh... Go and help yourself darling" he said pointing to her clothes which were thrown at the far end of the room.

"Dev....you are so mean!"

"Mean? Ok fine. I'm done with your drama... Out now!" he said sternly while eyeing her.

Sonakshi immediately pulled the sheets up her face and hid herself inside. Within a few seconds, she felt those sheets being pulled away with a force and Dev entering inside her little home, despite her attempts to keep him away. He pulled her to face him and hovered her small frame.

He covered the both of them with the same duvet, making her look at him with uneasiness.

"Sonakshi..." he said and she quickly averted her face away from him. He tried to tilt her face towards him but she was too shy to meet his gaze.

"Are you angry?" he asked and she kept silent. Sensing her anger, he started unbuttoning his shirt. This action immediately caught Sonakshi's attention.

"D..Dev...what are you doing?" she gasped.

"What do you think I am doing sweetheart?"

"De-Dev....we can't.... We just did it a few hours ago." she stuttered as Dev smirked.

"So what? That doesn't mean that we shouldn't do it again."

"Dev....please..." she squirmed as her face reddened due to shyness.

"I love you Sonakshi." He said while placing numerous kisses on her lips. With those words, Sona felt her heart melt and surrender completely to him.

Finally, after unbuttoning his shirt fully, he peeling it off and handed it towards a confused Sonakshi.

"Dev.... What is this for?"

"Your saree is still wet darling... I am sure you can't wear it now. So, you can wear my shirt until then. Go get a shower and I will find you some warm clothes from the other room" he said while Sonakshi still looked at him in awe.

"You have other clothes here? I mean.... Ladies clothes?"

"Yeap... I bought them for you, way before our marriage. This penthouse was my dream project. I spent my time here whenever I felt miserable. I specifically wanted it to be built far away from the city area because I honestly believe that this loneliness gives me so much peace. I wanted to spend my time with you in this house after marriage. I thought that we would have more privacy here. That is why I arranged your clothes here but unfortunately, I forgot about all these due to the tension at home....." he spoke apologetically as she stared at him with awe.

"God....that's so sweet Dev! Does that mean we would spend more time here?" she chimed as he chuckled at her excitement.

"Maybe..." he winked and got down the bed.

Sonakshi wore his shirt and buttoned up fully before getting down the bed. The shirt managed to cover her upper body but it only covered very little amount of her thighs. She was embarrassed. But it was better than wearing nothing, she thought and got down.

Dev's smirked at her as his heart fluttered, seeing his wife looking extremely sexy in his shirt. He walked closer and wrapped his arms around her.

"So, have you thought about what I had said yesterday night?" he asked out of the sudden.

"About what?"

"About the bath Sonakshi? Do you want to take a bath together. I know you love bath tubs. I had one built in here, just for you. So now....... Can I join you" he asked huskily as Sonakshi bit her lips in nervousness.

"Dev...I can't." she breathed as Dev's phone broke their moment.

Dev took his phone and answered his mum while Sonakshi rushed to the washroom.

"Haa... maa. Yes, we will be reaching home soon. Don't worry... Yea, Sonakshi is with me mum! Okay..." Dev put down his phone after breathing a sigh of relief. He didn't understand why his mum was so worried today. She always used to be okay with him staying away for a few days but now she acted so paranoid. Was it because of Sonakshi?

After an hour Sonakshi got ready as she changed to her new clothes given by Dev. She loved the clothes selected by Dev. They always looked classy and elegant on her. She had a hard time while changing her clothes as Dev was fully on his teasing mode.

Sonakshi found it too difficult to deal with the Dev who was in a 'high'. He reminded her of the times they were in college. It took another hour for both of them to leave the penthouse. As Dev and Sona settled in the car, Dev started to drive to his house.

Dev's POV

"Oh my god, Dev what will everyone think? I am wearing different clothes from what I wore yesterday." she nibbled her lips in nervousness.

"Don't worry, everyone will understand that you have finally turned into a woman!" I laughed, making Sona glared at me.

The journey was a quiet one. I noticed that Sonakshi was too quiet. She only spoke when I asked her questions. She wasn't like that usually. She would keep on chatting non-stop the other times. But now, she was just acting weird.

She was fine when we were in the penthouse. What happened now? Is she still worried about the Nisha incident?

"Sona.... Are you ok? What's wrong?" I asked her as she just fiddled with her fingers and looked at me and shook her head nervously.

"Are you still worried about Nisha and me? Is that what's going on in your mind? Come on babe. I have told you too many times, there is nothing you need to-"

"No Dev! I am not worried about that. Yesterday you were saying that Nisha accused you about something... What's that about?" she asked.

"Oh that! She said that nowadays I am always thinking about you and am too carried away in my own world. She also told me that I am not fulfilling my responsibilities properly.... nothing much. I will deal with her. Don't worry" I told her as she gave me a worried look.

"I am really sorry Dev. I shouldn't have gotten angry like that yesterday. It's just that, I can't... I am not a possessive person but it's just, sometimes I don't like the way Nisha looks at you, talks to you or even touches you. I mean I just can't help it but feel uncomfortable....." she whispered as I tried to control the wide smile forcing out from my face.

"Awww.... Is my wife getting jealous?"

"I am not jealous! Come on, you had way more friends during college and you are even close with Pooja. That doesn't mean she comes to you and tell you that you don't give her any more attention!" she huffed.

"That's because they are all my friends Sonakshi. Nisha is different. She is my cousin and we had been close for the past few years. We had gone out for breakfast, lunch and dinners together. We have stayed in the same apartment, worked overtime together and I had even cried in front of her. She stayed with me during those difficult days. And maybe she got used to my attention and friendship a lot. So, there is nothing wrong for her to feel bad. Just give her some time. She will understand slowly. Eventually she will also get married and settle down in her own life...." I spoke as Sonakshi nodded understandingly.

I felt really bad that she saw us in a compromising position yesterday but it wasn't in my hands to control. Nisha barged in my office and started crying that I was ignoring her. When I went towards her to console her, she hugged me. For Nisha, a hug was just a casual gesture. So I didn't take it seriously until Sonakshi barged in.

When Sonakshi opened the door, I wanted to move away but to my horror, I felt Nisha's arms tightening around my waist as she buried her tear-stricken face in my chest. I didn't know what to do as I stayed there paralysed. I knew Sonakshi was hurt but I if I had forcefully pushed Nisha away, it would have screwed the situation even more.

Sonakshi was an understanding person unlike Nisha. So, I thought I would talk to Sona later and let her leave. But I never expected her to feel insecure in such a way.

"If there is anyone who is complaining about getting your attention, then it should be me! You get it Mr Dixit?" Sonakshi asked and I looked at her, feeling amused.

"Yes Mrs Dixit!"

Sona's POV

"DEVV!! Where have you been? I have tried calling you the whole night? Do you know how worried I was?" Ishwari huffed as we walked inside the house.

I controlled my urge to roll my eyes at how fake she sounded. But of course, for Dev, it was his mother. I couldn't blame him for anything. Ishwari, Radharani and Nisha were seated in the hall as usual, having their gossip-session. When Dev entered, all of them rushed towards him as if he was coming back home after ten years.

As usual, I was ignored like a fool. I felt invisible whenever I was in their house and now, was the best example. After a few minutes, Neha walked out of her room and smiled at me. She signalled me something, which unfortunately I couldn't understand. Me and Dev got seated in the sofa when Ishwari started her interrogation.

"Where did you guys go yesterday.... I mean, were you safe? It was flooding here last night." she asked.

"Yes Maa. We were safe. We went to my penthouse..." Dev said while Ishwari's face paled.

"But that house is so far from the city area. Why did you go all the way there, beta? You could have returned back here."

"Maa...I just decided to show my penthouse to Sonakshi and I haven't brought her anywhere after marriage. So, I decided to go there. That's all. And due to the network issue maybe I didn't get your calls." He answered calmly.

"Why did you take so long to come back today morning?" Nisha suddenly asked.

"Ouh we were busy breaking the fast" he said as I choked on the drink I was drinking.

Ishwari's eyes widened as she looked at me with a sharp glare. I felt like burying myself into a hole right there. I wish I could strangle Dev to death at that moment.

"What??" Ishwari asked.

"Um...I meant.... We were busy having breakfast!" he said holding a grin. He is so gonna be killed today!

Without another word, I walked off to my room quickly without looking at anyone. I couldn't stand Ishwari's glances at me anymore. Already I was feeling horrible about breaking the fast, and this Dev was doing nothing to make me feel better.

On the other hand, Ishwari was fuming in anger as she already sensed something wrong. The change of Sonakshi's dresses and the way she walked, could only mean one thing. Of course, the hickeys on her neck didn't go unnoticed by her prying eyes. The last thing she wanted was for Sonakshi to get pregnant. She made a metal note to talk to Sonakshi about the fast. 'Hopefully they made a family planning...' she thought to herself.

But little did she know that god's plans were different...

I tried to clean the messed-up room when Dev walked in.

"Dev!!! What the hell was that? Do you think that was funny? We almost got caught!" I yelled as he walked towards me with a sly smirk.

"Dev, don't you dare look at me like that..." I said getting more disturbed by his stares.

"What look, Sona?" he asked innocently.

"That 'let's-do-it-again' look..." I said softly and he smile became wider.

"Oh...so now you know the meaning of my looks, huh?"

"Yes..." I said confidently.

"Hmm....what will you do if I keep on looking...huh?"

"I.....um...I will..."

"You will what?" he asked while walking closer.

"Um....I.......I would....call you by your nickname!" I said as his eyes instantly widened in shock.

"And what's my nickname?" his voice turned serious.

"B...Bablu" I said, trying hard to suppress my laughter.

"How the heck did you know that?" he barked in shock.

"Jatin told me" I said bursting out into laughter now. Dev glared at me and his eyes shrunk in disapproval.

"Ouh really Ms Bose... Now you feel like laughing?" he asked as he advanced towards me.

"What??? It's cute ok?" I said again bursting out into laughters.

"Sonakshi........"

"Yes Bablu.... Oops, sorry Dev..?"

"Stop it Sona...not funny!"

"Ouh is it Bablu..." I said again and this time his face got really serious.

Shit....I shouldn't have irritated him with it. Jatin had warned me that Dev hated his nickname. But what can I do? It just sounds cute to me. Now he stood there with his eyes closed and hands crossed. When he opened his eyes, I knew that shit got real.... Damn!

"You really love that nickname, don't you?" he asked in a serious tone, making me gulp.

"Dev....I was just...."

"Say it again..."

"Dev......"

"I said......SAY. IT. AGAIN" he said in a dangerous tone.

"Bab.....Bablu...." I stuttered as he caged me between the wall and himself.

"Now.........are you ready to scream it again and again for me?" he whispered huskily.

Shit!! You are screwed Sonakshi!
