( CHAPTER SEVEN - SOME QUEENS CRY )

( CHAPTER SEVEN - SOME QUEENS CRY )

▁▁▁

LOGAN MADE HER way to the black curtain with an award winning smile on her lips after seeing the line of people whom she called friends, standing and waiting for her arrival. Her brown eyes gazed across the bodies but stopped on a certain ginger, who immediately opened his arms to her, inviting her in when their eyes connected.

"We are all so proud of you." Sami told her as she wrapped her arms around his waist, tugging him into her closer as he wrapped his arms around her, one of his hands smoothing down her sticky black hair. Once she pulled away from his embrace, the same small smile graced her lips and she nodded back at him.

"Thank you, Sami." she commented back and then her eyes left his, and fell upon a pair of blue eyes, smiling at the small blonde girl that was standing and staring over at her. She grabbed hold of her extended hand that was meant to be shaken but instead pulled her into her, bending down slightly so she wouldn't smother the girl with her shoulder.

"I'm proud of you too even though you'll be competition." Alexa told her as she patted the woman on the back while Logan pulled away with a challenging smile on her painted lips. "and you better bring your A-game for Money In The Bank, Bliss." she challenged her while her perfectly plucked eyebrows rose on her forehead. "Because I won't be leaving without that briefcase."

Bliss laughed at her confidence that she would be leaving with the championship contract in her position, a little adorable snort coming from the blonde as she patted the brunette on the shoulder, but her hand still lingered on her skin. "Yeah we'll see about that, Jane." she challenged back which only made the Queen of Thorns smile twist up into a smirk - challenge accepted.

When Alexa's hand that was placed on her arm left her skin, Logan pulled away from her and started walking down the small line of numerous superstars, including Seth Rollins, whom pulled her into a hug before letting her go to tell her how proud she was. He had no doubt in his mind that the woman would come out victorious tonight without any sign of an injury.

Even though the match was scheduled for her to win, he didn't ever doubt her abilities in the ring when it came to coming out on top. He knew she would've won the match if she didn't know she was going to win tonight.

When Logan pulled away from Seth after nodding back over at him, pleased to hear the praises he gave her, she looked over and then she met the curious eyes of Finn Balor staring back at her, and everything around her felt like it slowed down. She let a smile slip onto her lips slowly as she made her way over towards him, a certain glimmer appearing in her brown eyes as she stopped in front of him, his goofy smile coming onto his face.

"Well, it looks like ya had nothing to worry 'bout, Jane." he told her matter-of-factly and his tone of voice had made her snort lightly. But I must say that dive looked very familiar."

She quickly covered up her amused smile with a smirk while her arms started to cross over her chest, her full body weight coming down to land on one foot, her brown eyes staring over at him with amusement. "Did it really?" she replied back with a dramatic tone.

Finn's blue eyes looked down at the floor as a flirty smile graced his features, making him look more handsome than he already was - if that was even possible. His fingers combed though his full darker colored beard before he looked back up at her. "I think I might've used that a couple times." he nodded over towards her as he took a moment to act like he was thinking about where the move looked familiar. But the smile that accidentally slipped onto his lips made him lose his serious expression, and he to had started to chuckle.

Her smile grew even wider as she noticed that he moved slightly closer towards her when he noticed she felt comfortable in his presence. She used to believe his glacier eyes were ice cold, that they knew no warmth and never shared love. That's what she used to believe, but now after the years they shared together, she knew the hottest fires always burned blue.

"I don't know about that Devitt." she replied back and shook her head. A few black strands fell onto her cheeks and she focused on his eyes once again while he stared back, which were darting back and fourth.

He always felt that her eyes were a deep, earthy brown - the color of the earth after torrential rains. But there was something else in them this time, something glistening. Glistening like an old copper penny being examined in the warmth next to powerful flames that were licking the safety glass door of a fire place. They held secrets the same way a pot holds layers of deep soil- cradling- because it is essential to keep the plant safe.

Caught up in the curiousness of his wandering eyes, she didn't even notice how close they have become until she had unfocused and took a step back, coughing awkwardly while she reached for her phone that was resting on the table. "But I must say, Logan Perris pulls it off far better than Finn Balor ever did." she finished her sentence which felt like forever ago while she walked past him, her shoulder grazing his own. Skin to skin, scar to scar.

She twirled around as she was walking down the hallway to find Finn had already turned around to watch her leave, and she sent him a smirk as she turned back around, making her way towards the direction of the Women's Locker Room.

Finn bit down onto his plump bottom lip while his eyes watched her leave and then slowly glanced down towards his kick-pads that covered his boots. He shook his head, a silent laughter escaping from beneath his lips.

A few weeks ago, she would've reacted differently when he would advance on her flirtatiously. She would even make a bee-line towards the opposite direction when she had seen him coming, thinking that he wouldn't of noticed her when he did. He supposed after the time span that he had stopped trying to get in contact with her, that she started giving him the time of day once again. He figured that was what she needed - the space - until he would try once again with her. He wouldn't dare to give up on her without a third or even a fourth try, he would chase her to the endless depths of hell like she was Persephone and he was Hades - if it meant that he would get her into his arms once again.

Once Logan turned the door knob to the Women's locker room, she noticed that it was rather empty, expect for the scatter of clothes in one of the lockers. She didn't even notice how exhausted she was, both mentally and physically until she was left alone and a yawn came from her lips. Logan walked over towards her purple suitcase and grabbed some of her more comfortable clothing she had packed instead of wearing her ring gear back to the hotel.

"Well, if this ain't a surprise." A voice with a certain thick accent called from behind her when the door opened. At first, she didn't even pay any attention to the door since usually it would just be someone coming to either get ready, or grab something before leaving again. But when she turned around after slipping her jogging pants over her thighs, her face lit up.

"Oh my god!" she practically screamed back at the woman standing in-front of her with a grin on her face that matched the Latina's own. Her eyes widened as she took in the appearance of the Japanese woman, her body dressed in a plain white tee-shirt and some leggings. "Oh, it's been too long since we've last saw each other, Asuka." she grinned back over at her, extending her arms to pull the woman into her arms.

When Asuka secured her arms around the much taller woman, she tucked her chin in her hair, laughing along with her in content of seeing someone so familiar - someone she spent years with. These two talented woman had been through hell and back when they had feud back in The Developmental Program, Nxt. Logan had gave her a run to retain her own championship, and since they had been spending so much time together while going over the scripts for their promo's - they had become pretty good friends.

"I think the last time we've seen each-other, I beat your sorry ass." Asuka pulled back from the girl, her teeth shining back at the taller woman who broke out into a grin, slowly shaking her head.

"Hey! You might've got the championship that night, but I got moved to the Roster before you." Logan fired back at her which earned a small chuckle from the girl in front of her.

"It's good to see that confidence of yours never died off that night like you did after I put you in the Asuka lock."

 "Don't rub it in."

Logan continued to get dressed while Asuka sat down on the bench that was laid out in the middle of the room. They began to talk about their jobs and their private life since to Asuka - Logan had plenty of catch her up on. The thing about talking with the Japanese woman, was that she really had a thick accent that would be hard to understand if you weren't paying attention to her fully, which meant that Logan took longer to get fully dressed.

As soon as the dark colored haired woman began to brief her on her new relationship status, things started to get questioned heavily due to the fact of this new article that was written out about her and Sami Zayn. "I don't understand why you two would break it off, you two were too good for eachother."

Logan looked down at her feet for a second, feeling a bit overwhelmed since she never really talked about her relationship with Finn since it was always hard to talk about. She felt like she had been missing a part of her life since he left. "I don't know," she lied to her since she didn't want to get involved in the unspoken reason of exactly why Finn had left her that night. "i suppose some things weren't meant to be."

Her lips separated as Asuka began to glance back and forth between her chocolate brown eyes, looking for the unsaid answers but when she couldn't find any, she nodded slightly and got off the bench to walk in-front of her.

With her two hands placed firmly on the side of her arms, she confidently told her, "Fate will be on your side. I know it will because you two are the purest couple I've ever known. You two bring each other up and I haven't seen anyone have something so special than what was between the two of you."

Logan took a breath as she let the words of her friend linger in her mind, her brown eyes becoming pools of chocolate as they filled up with un spilled tears. She started to nod profusely while the tears started to fall onto her cheeks, and Asuka's firm stare had softened while her finger tips came to wipe away the salted trails.

"I really hope you're right, because I am completely and madly in love with him." she told her while her voice started quivering due to the sobs that were spilling out of her mouth. Asuka brought her into her warm shoulders, holding her tight as the woman that she knew was so strong, be completely vulnerable- and seeing Logan cry was something that was not a frequent thing.

"Maybe he just needs to know that." Asuka told her softly as her hand began to work in circles over her back but the woman didn't speak but she knew she trying to stop crying due to the lack of sobs coming from her mouth.

Logan pulled away from her grip, her face had gotten more flushed and her nose was a red hue. "It's good to have you back, Asuka." she smiled warmly back over at her while her sleeve came to wipe at her tears. She was lucky to have someone on the same brand as her, knowing that she could find comfort in someone since Becky was always traveling and never in the same city as her.

It was hard not having your best-friend for a long period of time since the different time zones were a frequent thing that never allowed them to talk. So to have someone that she knew she could trust and not spread her secrets across the whole locker room in twenty minutes was something Logan could treasure.

Logan looked down at her phone after sniffing, noticing the time and bringing her eyes back at the woman in front of her. "I'll see you later, I'm gonna call my mum." she told her as she gestured towards the door.

Asuka bed her goodbyes and Logan left the locker room, walking down an empty hallway to look for an empty room that was just used for storage to have some privacy when she checked up on her mother, and her worsting condition. It was when she noticed that her phone buzzed in her hand, and when she looked down at the lit up screen; she noticed that Finn had left her a message.

Which was a surprise for her since she didn't even know he still had her phone number. She answered him back after him questioning what she would be doing later tonight, which she would probably be feasting on some fast food after her match - which would be her award.

She shook her head and proceeded down the hallway, opening up one of the doors to allow herself in when she noticed it was empty but a small couch was placed up against the wall - where she sat down too and then opened up her phone once again to find another message.
