Aphmau's POV
I sucked in a breath as Zane hugged me in front of Zianna. It felt.........almost like real love. When he released me, I looked into his cold, icy blue eyes. Zane was averting his eyes away from me, but he eventually looked at me. Zianna looked ecstatic that her little chubby unsocializing nugget had a "girlfriend." She had this smile on her face that showed she had a well thought out plan. Zianna said,"Because of this great news, I will treat you all to dinner!"
Everyone in the room yelled,"WHAT!"
Zianna just smiled as she pushed Garroth, Vlad, Zane and I into her mini van. Zianna and Garroth sat in the front, Vlad got the middle to himself, and Zane and I were stuck together in the back. Wow. Zianna was still fangirling about Zane and I dating. I sighed. I would have to put up with this if I didn't want to see Zianna's beautiful pure heart being crushed to smithereens right before my eyes. She interrupted my thoughts by saying,"Future daughter-in-law, I mean, Aphmau, where do you and Zane want to go to dinner? Oh I know! You probably want to go to that new fancy restaurant, Dova. It is designed specifically for young couples. You would love it there!"
He winked at Zane and I as she drove. I groaned internally and looked over at Zane. He had pushed his hoodie up even more on his face so it almost covered his eye. I whispered into Zane's ear,"Don't worry. This is not permanent. Only as long as your mom is here."
Zane nodded as Zianna squealed some more, thinking I was whispering lovey-dovey words to Zane. I think I heard Garroth growl at me whispering to Zane, for like, the billionth time, but I wasn't sure. I was about to ask Zianna how far away the restaurant was when she said,"We're here!"
I gasped when I saw Dova. When you first walk in, you see a gigantic glass chandelier with gold and rubies imbedded in it. The waiters and waitresses wore black suits with red bow ties. The seats were dark oak with the padding being velvet the color of garnet. As everyone else walked in, I heard them gasp. This was definitely going to be a night to remember.
