~My POV~
-Dream-
I was siting on the grass, watching the clouds passing by. I suddenly saw something in the distance. Dark was waving at me with a smile, I giggled and waved back. He floated towards me and leaned his face really close to mine. He had a big smirk and he got closer. I started blushing massively and he laughed. I nervously laughed too. He tilted his head and I felt a sharp pain on my stomach. I looked down and saw Dark's Master Sword nailed in my stomach, I fell to the ground and cried of pain. I glanced at Dar, he was covering his mouth and crying.

-I'm so s-sorry...I didn't mean to...-

-End of Dream-

I screamed and sat up sweating, I was panting and breathing fast. I looked around...where am I? Fast and heavy footsteps rushed down the corridor and the door opened to see Dark, he went to me.

-Are you okay?!- I gulped and nodded -Was it just...a nightmare?- I looked at him and hug him, I started crying

-Shh...It's okay, its was just a bad dream...no one can hurt you...- he brushed my hair and hugged back, I cried on his shoulder for a time. Then I pulled away and wiped my eyes, he looked at me worried.

-I'm fine, thank you...by the way where are we?- he smiled

-Welcome to my dark castle!- my eyes widened, he owned a castle?! He looked down and rubbed his neck. -I...I haven't told you yet but...I um...I'm a prince, the prince of darkness...- he looked at me, my jaw dropped and I blinked a few times.

-Uh...u..I...um- I was really shocked- wow...- he left out a small chuckle.

~Dark's POV~
When I told her she looked really shocked, I chuckled and looked at her with a smile.

-Are you hungry?- she smiled and nodded -Anything in special?- she tapped her chin, then she shook her head. I smiled and walked out. I went to the kitchen and started making some food. I didn't know what to make, so I just went with a burger. I wonder what she was dreaming about....when I saw her cry...oh man, my heart probably died, If there is still some left. Wait....why do I care about her so much!?!?!? Am I....Am I falling for her? I shook my head, I cannot fall in love unless is someone immortal. But...I could make her immortal tho...I was so lost in my thoughts that I burnt the burgers

-Ah! Dammit!- I had to start all over now...

~My POV~
Dark exited the room and I was left to think...
Was he really a prince? He-he probably won't be interested in a girl like me...
I got sad and curled up, for once that a boy is nice to me and he has to be a prince no?! I sighed and looked at myself, If I was at a castle the best I could do is wear something decent, not a...dusty and dirty tunic. There was a closet near me, so I just went to it and opened the wooden black doors.
To my surprise, the closet was full of girl clothes. Was this someone else's room before? Was this...Dark sisters room? I felt bad for been in that room, like if I was doing something that was bad. I looked at the dresses, they were pretty and fancy, the dresses that you can find in the expensive stores in Castle Town. I pulled out a dark blue one. It was knee-long and it had a black belt, some flat shoes where in the closet, so I chose some black ones. I hope Dark sister or whoever this was from didn't mind...I was just trying to be polite....anyways, I took my ponytail off and let my hair fall on my shoulders. I looked myself in the mirror...oh god...I was looking good, but my smile disappeared when I got to look at my face. Why can't I be pretty? I looked down, I wasn't that ugly but still...I remembered the note and cried a little. Then I wiped my eyes and opened the door. I gasped and looked around...woah! It was so big! Dark must feel so lonely here, no one to share or be with...
I kept walking until I got to some big stairs, I looked down the stairs and saw Dark cooking burgers, I saw other two burnt ones in the garbage, I laughed a bit. Darks ear twitched and he turned around.

~Dark's POV~
I heard a soft laugh and I turned around to see (y/n) up the stairs. I looked at her and blushed...she was...she was looking so beautiful...and was that...? That was my sisters dress...I didn't mind at all but I don't know if my sister would like her to wear it...
She looked down and rubbed her nose blushing. I kept staring at her, she glanced and she covered her face.

-Stop staring at me! It's embarrassing Dark!- I got out of my thoughts and looked away, she came down and got next to me. I kept blushing and finished cooking, I didn't look at her...I didn't want her to know I was blushing. She sat down on the table and sighed.

-This dress...it was from your sister right?- I slowly nodded, she gasped- I'm so sorry! I-I'll go change!- I looked at her and shook my head

-I-It's fine...it has been a long time since I have seen someone wear that dress...- she made a sad smile and sat back down. I put the food on plate and sat down across her.
She took a bite and she drooled.

-Dark! This is sooooo good!- she kept eating, I looked at her and smiled wide

-Thank you...I don't have guests normally so...yeah- she giggled and finished her burger. She stood up and cleaned the plate- hey! You don't have to do that seriously!- she looked at me and stick her tongue out. Then she came and took my plate. She also washed it. When she finished she sat again and looked at me.

-Was your....was your brother jealous cause you were going to get the throne?- I nodded and frowned. -I'm sorry...If I could something...- I looked up at her

-You could do something...- she gasped and smiled wide

-I will do it! Whatever it is!- I smiled and looked down

-You could....you could uh....stay....- she instantly blushed and I closed my eyes hard, hoping she wouldn't hate me.

-I'll stay Dark! We both live alone so...it's okay! And we will keep company to each other!- she smiled and blushed at the same time.
Was she going to stay? Like, for real?! I couldn't help but hug her, she giggled and hugged back.

-Thank you...I felt so lonely...- she poked my cheek

-But sometime I have to go to the forest, if not Link and Zelda might think I got kidnapped...- she laughed and I nodded.

-You can do whatever you want!- I hugged her tighter, she giggled again and pulled away.

-Well, I'll go to my house and pack my things- I smirked and snapped my fingers, all of her things appeared in the living room.

-Already done- she got up and ran to the pile of things, did I do something wrong? She started searching and she sighed relieved when she found a box that had an F  written. She smiled and took the box upstairs, I picked up part of her staff and took it to her room. After we had moved everything to her room she politely asked me to stay out while she set up her room, I couldn't say no to her smile.

~My POV~
Dark was really nice asking me to stay, I was happy cause I finally had someone that could keep me company. Link was fine but...he wasn't around that much and Zelda was a princess so...she had royal staff to do. Sometimes I went to see her and the guards forbid me my way.
Anyways, the box of my family memories was there, that is all that matters... I took out the small framed picture of my mom, she was so pretty...her bright browns eyes and golden hair. I got out another one of my father, his black hair and shiny bright green eyes. I missed both so much...I wished I could go back and stop what happened... I didn't have any brothers or sisters so that was something positive, I didn't have to cry for more people. I started taking things out the box like my moms dress, my dads bow and some other pictures. At the end there was my best drawings and it was mostly about Link, Zelda or the forest. I put them in a drawer and all my brushes and pencils including paper in another drawer. I thought about my house, what will I do? I guess I can go there sometime to draw on the walls...but where in all of Hyrule is the dark castle located, I know most of Hyrule and I have never seen the castle before. I found my pyjamas inside the closet, that was a relief...I cannot sleep without that pyjama...I sighed and looked around. The big windows with black long curtains, I smiled and gasp when I realised that I had a balcony, and the views were awesome! Perfect to draw the views! I closed my eyes and let the wind brush my hair...Link cannot know I'm with Dark, he will freak out, thinking that there is a spell on me and kill him. I cannot let that happen. I sat on the edge of the balcony. I smiled, watching the field with the sunset. I leaned a bit to see it closer and I lost balance. I gasped and fall to my doom. I screamed.

~Dark's POV~
I was doing some work when I heard a scream. It came from upstairs. I rushed up and got inside (y/n)'s room. I saw the balcony doors open and I run to the edge. I widened my eyes when I saw (y/n) falling down. I jumped after and when I grabbed her, I stopped and stood up on the air. She gasped and looked around, I was carrying her in bridal style. I looked at her angrily and she looked me confused. I walked in the air back to the balcony and dropped her on the floor.

-WHAT THE HELL WHERE YOU THINKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!- I yelled at her, she looked at me. My eyes started glowing and smoke started to form around me. -YOU COULD HAVE DIED STUPID!!!!!- she gasped and looked at me....she was scared and hurt. She started crying, my expression softened and I kneed infront of her.

-You don't have to yell at me...sorry Dark....- she looked away and I could tell by her face...that my words had hurt her.

-I-I'm sorry, I just...only the thought of loosing you...you know how much time I've been waiting to have a friend?- she looked again at me and cried

-You called me stupid, your eyes glowed and smoke came out of you...I got scared...- my eyes widened and she covered her face. I grab her wrists and uncovered her face. She looked at me crying, her ears dropped...I swear I felt so bad at that moment...I put her head against my chest and rested my chin on her shoulder.

-Sorry (y/n)...is just...I couldn't loose you, li-like my family...- she gently pulled away and looked at me. Her eyes where shining because of the tears and her lips were red because of pressing them hard. She bit her lower trembling lip and tears stroke down her face, I can't stand seeing her like that...its too much...I can't. I grabbed her chin and softly kissed her forehead. She looked at me blushing and I made a wide smile. -better now...?~- she slowly nodded and I hugged her. She hugged back, she was so warmy...~

-D-Dark?- she said trembling

-Yeah?- she looked down and wiped her eyes

-I'm scared...the killer of my family...h-he told me he would be back...I-I don't want to die...- she shivered and cried silently.

-He won't hurt you, I will protect my only friend till the end...-

~My POV~
Did he really meant those words? Did he...cared about me?

-That means a lot...- I hugged him as tight as I could and cried of joy- no one ever cared about me so much... I had no one...thank you so much...- I rubbed my head against his shoulder, I felt his hand stroking my hair.

-Of course I care about you, you are sweet and also care about me...it would be a huge sin not keeping you safe...- I blushed and smiled wide. I let go off him and yawned. -Are you tired?- I nodded and I felt my feet been lifted off the ground. I looked at Dark, he looked down at me and carried me to my bed. I blushed massively. When he laid me down I saw him blush for a second but then it disappeared, I shook my head and relaxed. I soon felt my eyes closing and my head felt back, asleep.

Sleep baby, you'll see mommy and daddy tomorrow' it's all I could hear before passing out.

~Dark's POV~
(Y/n)'s head felled back and I looked at her sleep, I kneed next to her bed and rested my head on my hands

So perfect...so beautiful...maybe she could be my dark princess, a queen in a future...yeah, I will seduce her till she mine and only mine...

I smirked and leaned my face to her hair...ah...it was so fluffy and it smelled like cherry...she has to be mine, she cannot belong to anyone else but me...whoever tries to get her, I'll kill him without hesitation. I shook my head.

Woah...was I really that cruel? Forcing my only friend to love me!? I cannot make her...it would be so unfair for her...

I brushed her hair with my hands and she groaned. I suddenly blushed massively

Wait, am I stalking her?!?!?!?

I stood up and walked away, I looked at her one more time before I closed the door. I sighed and felt happy, for the first time in forever. I went to my room and took off my tunic, I opened my balcony doors and looked down and to the left. (Y/n)'s room was next to mine, if something got inside her room I would be able to teleport next to her before the person could even look around. I smirked

She is just perfect...she won't die... I will keep her safe, no matter what...

I went back inside and laid on my huge bed. I started thinking about Ganondorf, if he knew that I had a girl in my castle, especially a girl that I do care about...he would probably torture her...I won't let that happen, she cannot be harmed. I soon gasped and sat up.

My brother...if he finds out...oh shit...he wouldn't just kidnap or torture her...

Few weeks ago I was walking around the shadows in Castle Town and I saw a large number of posters hanged around the castle. It said:

   WANTED
~teen boy
       ~silver hair
       ~pale skin
~bright black eyes
~wears a black tunic
       ~name: unknown
       ~reason: kidnaps young girls and leaves    no sign of them
He looks like Dark Link, if you see him please report to Hyrule's army, you will be rewarded with a large amount of rupees.

Next to the poster there was a sketch of a young boy, a bit older than me...he looked exactly like me. I knew who he was...that was Dust...my older brother...the one that killed my family. When I read the thing of 'kidnaps young girls' I knew what it meant. That's why, if Dust discovers that a girl is staying right now at my castle, he will probably take her and...do terrible things to her. His reasons would probably be.
1- revenge
2- jealousy
3- make me angry
4- kill her afterwards
5- then kill me

I could not let him find her, thats one of the reasons why I never talk to girls...dammit, I was so stupid! Why did I even asked her to stay!? Now she is even more in danger! I put my palms pressing my forehead, banging my hands against my head.
Seriously, I sometimes think if I'm just stupid...but she must never know about Dust, it will only be worse...
 
I sighed and closed my eyes, I felt asleep, but the nightmares haunted my dreams
