Chapter 7
After a long school day, consisting of only Iori actually doing schoolwork while Tamaki dozed off, draw pictures or try to skip classes, they were finally able to leave. Which was a relief for the werewolf. But now he had to lead Iori and his so called friends to where Sogo lived. He still didn't know if he trusted them, especially since he hadn't met them yet. Though he knew Iori and Mitsuki were trustworthy. Still, he'd be cautious.
They used the dimensional gate to return back to Tranquil Terrain, specifically to the town they were staying at. From there Iori lead Tamaki to Yamato's house. It was the first time Tamaki had seen a house so big and fancy. The house he and Sogo lived in was a moderate one at best.
Whoever these people were that he was going to meet better not be bad people. If they didn't seem trustworthy he wouldn't lead them to Sogo. Even if Sogo could defend himself, he wouldn't bring home people who could harm him.
"Nii-san I'm back, I brought Yotsuba-san with me" Iori called out once they got inside.
"Welcome back!" Riku yelled, suddenly hugging Iori, causing him to blush and startling Tamaki. Was this one of the people he was meant to lead to Sogo? He seemed nice. "Oh right, hi- Umm-"
"Tamaki.." the werewolf replied.
"It's nice to meet you Tamaki! I'm Riku, a fallen angel"
"..angel..?"
"Yeah! So is Tenn-nii, though Tsumugi is still an angel.."
"Nanase-san!"
"What? Were trying to find demons who will accept her regardless of her being an angel. Plus it doesn't matter if me and Tenn-nii were once angels, we're fallen ones now" Riku pouted.
Is that why Iori asked if he could bring his friends? They wanted Sogo to meet this angel? He was a bit wary of what Sogo might try to do, he had talked about how rare angels blood is and what its properties were. Would he really try to attack an angel though? That would probably cause some trouble.
"If you're going to bring an angel to meet So-chan, you should probably make sure to keep an eye on her.." Tamaki warned. "He seems interested in their blood"
"Their blood?" Iori questioned. "Oh! Our blood is really pure! It can cure just about any disease. I guess demons want to try to get their hands on our blood.." Riku immediately answered.
"Yes but it's forbidden for us to cause harm to our bodies so it's very rare" Tenn spoke up, approaching the three. "Gaku tried to drink some of my blood before when you weren't around Riku. But since I told him to pay me over 10 million Hell for it, he gave up on trying to get my blood"
"10 million Hell?!" Tamaki exclaimed. "You'd have to be a Overlord to have that much money..or a really rich noble.."
"Hey, it's my blood, so I can set the price for it. Don't like it, then don't try getting any of our blood" Tenn shrugged. "Anyways, the others will be joining us soon, so get ready to leave. We'll be using the dimensional gate since it'll be quicker"
"Okay! Come on Iori, Tamaki, let's head to the dimensional gate and wait for the others!"
. . .
It didn't take very long for the others to join them and for them to use the dimensional gate to reach Sogo's home. It was a relatively average home, like one humans would have for a simple live. It was a single bedroom home since Sogo and Tamaki were actually dating to the others' surprise. Tamaki explained that in the basement was where Sogo did some experiments and how there was a ton of equipment there.
"He actually got rid of a lot of the equipment because I told him it was kind of scary. And so he did so he wouldn't scare me"
"You're a demon yet you're scared of Osaka-san doing a normal demon activity? You're even afraid of the dark.." Iori sighed.
"Hey! Everyone is scared of something! Besides if you ever saw So-chan emerging from the dark with a knife, you'd be scared too! Well..he didn't mean to scare me...but still!"
"Yes yes, now where is Osaka-san?"
"Fufu, right here" Sogo replied, stepping out of the kitchen and stopping in front of the large group. "There's more people than I expected..maybe I should of made me food.."
"So-chan, your food is always really spicy! I even looks really red too!"
"Ah- I'm sorry, I try to hold back on the spice..is it still too much?"
They watched as Tamaki and Sogo went back and forth about how Sogo always made really spicy food and how he should hold back on the spices. It must of been an reoccurring thing for them to start a small argument over. But it subsided after a few minutes.
"Anyways, it's nice to see you again Yamato-san, I see you've made some friends, fufu"
"Yeah.."
"Just how bad is the relationship between you two?" Mitsuki spoke up, hands on his hips and giving the two a serious look.
"It's not that bad at all, we occasionally go drinking together. It's just had he's uneasy due to how scary I was once and jokingly tried to experiment on him"
"I thought you were being serious!" Yamato protested. "You shouldn't joke about that either"
"I'm sorry.."
Tsumugi looked between the group of boys, smiling at how they acted toward each others. Although she sometimes worried they were about to have a serious fallout, they always resolved it quickly. Plus most of the time they seemed friendly.
"It's nice to meet you Sogo-san. I'm sure you know why we're here" Tsumugi asked.
"Yes, it's nice to meet an actual angel" Sogo replied before noticing Tamaki giving him a look. "I'm not going to try taking any of her blood Tamaki-kun, I just want to know what it's capable of"
"That's a relief to hear" Tsumugi sighed and then smiled at him. "I can't say it enough, but you demons really are interesting, you're nothing like what the angels assumed"
"Trust me, demons like us isn't very common. The majority of demons are exactly how you believe we are like" Sogo stated. "Let's talk out back, it's a little crowded in here"
