December 21, 2013 11:00am, New York Manhattan, East 31 Street

Waking up early to complete my mission was buried into my mind and heart. Also waking up to a surprise, my father had essentials prepared for me. He had made me wear a bulletproof vest, a dagger, one sword, pepper spray, one sets of keys that can unlock any locks and a taser just in case, all with a cool belt that can hang everyone of my weapons. I was dressed in black and my long coat that covers my weapons. I was walking to where Daniel's body was found. This alleyway was dark. So I grabbed my flashlight out of my belt and moved it around. As I looked around, the deeper I went, the more the clues that I tried to find. Just then, I heard a noise behind me and I jumped. I pulled out the taser and pointed to the source. I flashed the light from one corner to another, then something caught my eyes just before when put the light in the middle of the alley. It was Daniel.

"Is it really you Daniel?" Or is it games being played by his killers? "Are you here to kill me too? Wasn't one death enough?" I shouted out following Daniels movement.

"Riley....it's really you. You came back to me. you came. Ohhh..RiRi how I missed you." Daniel said calling my name and he was crying.

"Better not be a joke..Daniel why are you here?" I said moving closer and closer only holding the taser in high aim. The light showed that he was pale and his eyes looked sunken in.

"You have to help me. Only you can help me. Please....find my killer. Help me...dark suits...powers. Hunt them like they hunted me. Can't stay for long, try magic." Daniel said pointing toward the magic store opposite of the street. He then smiled and moved closer to me and I tensed. He brushed his finger across my cheek and faded into the dark. I stared into the corner where Daniel disappeared in a dazed and shocked.

After I got myself together, I walked out the alley and looked towards the magic shop, "Mickey and Matthew Magic Shop", that's across the street. The magic shop should have cameras, that will make it easier to know what Daniel was talking about. I crossed the street and opened the door. The doors jingled when I entered, and a man came out of the back room. I looked around and browsed, so he didn't think I was up to something.

"Hello, can I help you?" the man said and eyed me suspiciously.

"As a matter of fact, you can. Are you the owner of this shop?" I said walking up to the counter. He looked at me suspiciously again.

"Why? Who are you?" He said backing up nearly stumbling.

"I am an undercover. I supposed to look into a case that took place in that alleyway acrossed the street one year ago yesterday. I figured that this place has a camera or...a witness." I said whispering to him and he shook his head "yes". I said towards the man lying through my teeth. I didn't want to risked my father's job or even leave myself a trap, just incase the cops look for me.

"What's your name by the way?" I said looking him square in the eyes.

"Matthew...a-a-and we do have a camera. It's in the back..i-in my brothers office. Follow me, please." Matthew said and opened the counter and I followed down the hall into a small room where I see another man at a computer.

"Matt, what are you doing? Who is this?" Matthew's brother said and looked from Matthew to me.

"S-s-she is an undercover, she is here for the murder that happened a year ago in the alleyway. I figured that you can help her. I'll go back to the counter." Matthew said walking away and disappeared.

"I am sorry about that, my brother is on the other side of town today. What is it that you need?" He said getting up and invited me into the room.

"I was hoping that you would let me see your cameras. Maybe the I will get my answers or perhaps the killers." I said looking around the room spotting the camera.

"Sure, my name is Mike by the way. I hope the cameras saved something to open your mind on this sad occasion." Mike said shaking his head.

"Thanks..really it's just about finding justice." I said and put on the camera and entered the date that Daniel was killed.

The video started off with random people walking by the alleyway, but with no sign of Daniel. The clip continued, until I saw a figure run into the alleyway with black suited figures with sunglasses following behind Daniel. The figure that ran, turned around and faced the black suited figures. I see the person, which was no other than Daniel himself. The sunglasses men crowded in front of Daniel and kept moving closer, until there was no more room to escape. Soon, I saw that one of the men pulled out a dagger. Daniel's face was masked with fear. He closed his eyes to end his life without pain. The man slashed Daniel's neck in a quick motion and Daniel's body slumped to the ground with no sign with life. The one man with the dagger slipped the dagger back into his jacket. They picked up Daniel's body and disappeared into thin air. Leaving no trace, even taking the dagger with them. The clip stopped and the room was quite. I couldn't speak, I was shocked.

"Umm...that's crazy. I hope this helped," Mike said looking at me with sympathy.

"Yeah..it did...I am going to leave now. Thank you for the help," I said walking out of the room without saying anything. I walked out of the store and stared at the alleyway. I really need a lead on that dagger that was used. But where?

I walked and walked not knowing where to go. I paid no attention to where I was going, not caring to look where I was headed. I just kept playing the images in my head of Daniel dying. I felt like I walked for eternity. I bumped into people and they gave me nasty looks. I gave them the same look back and just kept walking blindly. I was about to cross the street when I was grabbed from behind and thrown in the back of a black jeep. I wrestled with the unknown figure and he placed a towel on my face, until I smelled a scent and it was lights out. I welcomed the darkness.
