Yellow
I This is not about any specific character, this poem is personal to me but I think it's fitting enough to be here so enjoy xx
Salty tears run down my face
As I rock back and forth,
Back to when
The sun would shine brightly
And kisses were nightly
And my life was yellow
Soft and warm the color melted into my skin,
Leaving a smooth lemon touch
But swift as a river the yellow would go,
And black would settle deep, deep down.
Cold and dark my skin would stain with blood and cruel black words
Tattooed in me were the reminders that no one could ever love me
Leaving me forever undesirable
And forever incapable to find a yellow light again.
