She met him on a sunny day,
The sky so blue
The clouds so white
And there were...

Sunflowers.

All over the field like tall grass they swayed gently. That's where she saw him. He was tall, and quite frankly, very beautiful.

She ate dinner with him on a clear night
Where the sky was glittered with stars,
The breeze was cool, but not cold.
When he arrived he was holding something in his hand

He gently gave them to her and whispered "They can be our precious little secret" in a somewhat dark or possibly seductive way.

She shared their first kiss on winter solstice of that year
It started sweet and ended rough
He placed something in her hair, which she soon realized were small fake

Buttons and zippers were tugged and played with.
She was so frail
And he was so strong
Despite his odd atmosphere, she felt safe.

Time went on
Kisses were forceful
Scars were visible
Whips went ' crack'
And blood dripped all onto a once beloved bouquet, a bouquet of sunflowers
