Kanto and Johto.
The group flew over Kanto in search of the traditions. They were looking over the book.
"So it's either a Wing or Earth...?" Yellow looked confused. "I don't understand." Purple glanced over it.
"I think it's pointing at something that the groups have. I think it means Earth Kingdom for Earth." Blue chuckled lightly at that. "And Wingly for Wing." Green bit his lip to contain a chuckle. Purple looked at the two seniors. "What?"
"Nothing." They said quickly before looking away. Purple looked at Red for support. The blade senior was looking out at the town of Pewter as they flew over it. Purple went over to him and sat down beside him. Red smiled lightly.
"I take it the others are confusing you." Purple huffed.
"It's not fair. I'm the only junior here. You guys know ten times more than me and I haven't had time to catch up. The other juniors know around the same amount of knowledge. I'm behind." Red smiled at that.
"Well being the only junior, you'll be learning what they already know and you can catch up with no problem. We just need to start right away."
Red turned to the other three. Yellow was looking at the book, trying to solve what it said. She constantly sent a glare at the other two, trying to get help. The duo were talking about what Purple had tried to explain while avoiding Yellow's eyes. Red went over and took the book from the smaller senior and glanced at the other two.
"Ok you guys, knock it off. Not everyone here is caught up." Green raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean by that?" Purple fidgeted with something in his hands as Red sighed.
"Purple hasn't been told a lot of the information we've given out because he's usually busy. How many times has Yellow said Purple was missing out on the details?" Yellow paused before sighing.
"For a moment there I forgot and thought he was playing dumb..." Blue nodded in agreement. Green sighed.
"Sorry about that, Purple. The situation's brought a lot of us out of step." Red nodded at that. Purple sighed.
"It's ok... At least I'm getting it before we get slapped by the big guy." The other 4 nodded before Red stretched.
"Well we better start with what we have here. But there's one thing I have to say before we do." Purple gave him a questioning look. "While you're not caught up with everyone, you're the only one that hasn't spoken about information about yourself. That's how much you've missed. So almost no one has anything against you." Purple's face went pale at that.
"Wait... really?" Red nodded. Purple looked away for a moment. "That..." He rubbed his face. "Ok... so... what? Do I give information after each fact I give?" Red shook his head.
"No. We'll go by region. Each region of information we give you, you give a fact and maybe explanation if we ask. Got it?" Purple gulped before nodding.
"What? Nervous already?" Blue asked slyly. Purple frowned.
"This is the first time I'm doing something like this. Every other time I've done it it was either I gave the person one of my notebooks, I gave notes with hints, or they were given the information by someone else." Green raised an eyebrow.
"To be expected from you. Was there anyone one particular person that got a certain way?" Purple huffed.
"Forest got a notebook while Lime and Pink were given notes. Pink then started seeking my allies for more. As for the other Dexters in that group, they pretty much asked those three. Do they know everything? Not enough to pin me down. I know more about them then they'll know about me any day." The group laughed at that.
"Well... I say Red starts cause he's your senior." Red frowned at Blue.
"Ladies first. Not today, Blue." She raised an eyebrow.
"Yellow, would you go first so that I don't have to strangle him? I'm not leading this parle." Yellow paused.
"Blue, I don't know what to say. He has the advantage because we're both CSK members. We can sort something out..." Red and Blue locked eyes at her words. Green sighed.
"I'll go you big babies." The glaring duo looked at him and tried to come up with a comeback. He didn't let them get there, though. "Each of us are something more than what you see. For example, I..." He turned to him and held out his hand. A soft glow filled it and something appeared.
"ព្រះច័ន្ទពិត." Confusion crossed the junior's face as the senior flame spoke. Red chuckled lightly as Purple took a second to process.
"What?"
"Verity moon." Purple looked at Red. He smiled at the junior. "He said its true name in his native tongue. We each have different native tongues, abilities, and specialties that each of our families gave us. Green's a Wingly, Blue's the Earth Kingdom Queen, Yellow's Satan or ruler of hell, and I'm a Mininto. All with our areas of strength." Purple nodded softly. The wind danced past them as they continued what they were discussing.
(Ha! Ya'll thought!)
~~~
"Wow..." Purple hummed lightly as they finished. Blue studied the junior as he processed the information.
"You know, Purple..." He looked at her. "You could be a really good person to help other juniors understand this stuff." He blinked.
"Really?" She nodded.
"You're getting a better understanding of it than what the others got. And if we need to quickly do meetings without catching any newbies up, you'd be a great person to help with that." His face warmed up to that. He smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah... maybe..." Yellow smiled.
"Your turn." He gulped nervously.
"W-well..." He was cut off by a blast nearly missing his head. The group turned to see the Johtorio sliding behind a cloud. Green hissed lightly.
"Purple, you'll have to wait a little longer for that. This a three on five if you're in." The junior nodded as the group stood up and looked around.
"Alright Johtotrio. Drop the act and show yourselves!" Red called out. Yellow glanced at him.
"You're a terrible shouter and puller." Red sighed as he grabbed his ears. She took a steady breath. "HEY LOOK! THREE SCAREDY CATS HIDING BEHIND CLOUDS!" The group ducked to avoid the incoming attack that followed. She smirked as the others laughed.
"Scaredy cat? That would be you." The group looked up to see the trio flying above them. Yellow scoffed.
"You're the ones using clouds to hide after attacking." Gold frowned. Purple pulled out a pokeball and glanced at the seniors. His first actual fight with them. Most of the other fights he had been in with the older members were really their fights intertwining or something like it. But now he was fighting the same enemy with them. Silver frowned at Yellow's words.
"Likewise. Stop dodging the attack." Blue laughed at that.
"Ladies first." Crystal opened her mouth when a bright light appeared behind them. They almost didn't get out of the way of the beam. Red put up a barrier before it hit the group. Blue snapped and the beam stopped. "What was that? Not ladies? More like babies." The trio appeared in front of them.
"Alright, now you're dead." Gold's hand lit ablaze. Purple had the best reaction.
"SMOKE SHIRLEY! SILENTARYMINAE! FORTE WIND!"
If he had been a second late, who knows what would've happened. The smoke turned into a gentle white color as wind slammed into the trio. He sent out a small delta and quickly sent another attack.
"LEAF CLAW!"
The Pokemon slammed into the trio before they could pull another card. Red grinned.
"Nice!" The junior huffed lightly as Yellow pulled out a pokeball.
"You don't mind if I join you, right?" The other three went pale at her words. Purple smiled.
"Go ahead." She grinned as she sent out Kitty. The two small Pokemon smiled at each other before glancing at the trio as they recovered. Gold and Crystal charged while Silver went in. The duo grinned at each other. Smoke laced Purple's hand while Yellow's eyes turned into a glowing green.
"SMOKE SHIRLEY! SWIFTKEYENTARY! EVOLVING ROAMER!"
"VIRIDIAN FOREST! WINGED OUTBREAK!"
The two Pokemon glowed softly as their forms changed. Noivila went from a small delta Noibat to a delta Noivern. Kitty's wing grew to a fuller size that it probably could've rivaled Troppy's. The duo didn't hesitate after that.
"WING ATTACK!"
The duo winged Pokemon raced at the trio and quickly sent them away from the battle. The other three gulped as the duo turned. Yellow sighed.
"Did you guys really just see your teams again?" Red whimpered slightly.
"It's not fair, Yellow. You completely destroyed us." She smiled slyly at that.
"You made it way too easy." Purple raised an eyebrow. "We had made a deal one time. It was to be a three on one, six pokemon each, to see who did what when we got back to the base. I used Chuchu to decimate the majority of their teams while I used Kitty to tear their starters down even after they megaed. It's not hard to destroy an opponent when you're in your territory and you know the opponent." She explained. He nodded lightly. Red sighed.
"I'm pretty sure it's safe for you to go with what you were saying, Purple. I don't hear any wings." Purple gulped as he pulled out a pokeball and moved his sleeve slightly. A small device appeared as the pokeball opened up.
"I... uh..." The group chuckled at his nervousness. Marshadow sighed.
"And this is why no one lets you do any explaining." He kept quiet at that. A mumble might've made an appearance, but it wasn't notable. It scoffed as he took a steady breath.
"The reason I'm able to quickly change forms is because Shandowa, this device and my suitcase hold the components that I need to form..."
"So that's why you're called 'The Former'." Green said softly. Purple nodded as he put Shandowa and the device away. His face was red with embarrassment. Red touched his shoulder.
"At least you're honest. Most times you talk about yourself, we can hear the lies." Purple gulped nervously.
"Yeah..." Green sighed lightly.
"Well... Earth or Wing..." He turned to Blue. "I'm going to assume you have no idea what it is." She raised an eyebrow.
"Pardon?" Purple picked up the book.
"Zeer maanavaiar." The duo looked at each other. Blue frowned.
"That's Dutch. I don't have anything with that." Green sighed.
"Sadly, both the item they want and the item we need is the same." He opened his hand and the small lightly reappeared. The small creature appeared and landed on his hand. "I don't mind using this in a chant to save the world, but you guys are on your own." He closed his hand and it vanished. Purple blinked.
"Is that your power source?" Green nodded grimly. Red gulped.
"Then you have to be careful, Green. I know no one can take it, but just in case they try to persuade you." Green nodded as he paused.
"That battle basically said that we have no allies in Johto. Do we move directly for Hoenn?" Red nodded.
"I'd expect someone is stronger than these guys there. Let's hope we find something. On the way there we'll do the Johto info." Purple nodded as Green steered them to Hoenn.
