A heated desperation to walk away,
Filled up my head, body, and heart,
While it was all shattering.

The strings that kept all the things in place,
Were getting loose while i lost everything,
My sanity too.

The smoke that rose from the burnt piece of wood,
The flames erupted out feverishly,
While they twisted and turned in a frantic manner,
You set my woody heart on fire.

The sharp icicles that once pierced through my flesh,
Have lost their sharpness,
submitted themselves to the harmless edges,
And slowly while they turn to water, disappeared.

The house i once decorated happily with my memories,
Is now old and rotted in and out,
There's wild covering the most of it,
My fondness is long gone.

The lights have been put off,
The rooms have been emptied,
The universe is more lonely,
All shattered as i watched.
