Luna was asleep in her room when she was awoken by a knocking on her door. She sat up in her bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. She had no clue what time it was, but she didn't really care. She got up off the bed and opened the door to see a concerned looking Jeff with Masky near him.

"Concern isn't an emotion I thought you could express." Luna comment as she looked at the duo.

"Now is not the time for Jokes Miss Luna, we have an important task and you are requested to join us." Masky retorted as he motioned for her to get ready.

"Meet us down stairs as soon as you are ready." Masky said as he leads Jeff away from the doorway. Luna looked confused but decided to go with it. She went to the small closet and changed into a pair of black jeans and a gray tee shirt with a black jacket. Once she was ready she headed out of the room and down the stairs, She saw Mikara on her way, but Mikara said nothing she had a look of grief on her face as she disappeared down the hall. This only further confused Luna, what could this task possibly be. Once she reached the bottom of the stairs she saw Masky and Jeff talking with the twins, who when they saw Luna dispersed.

"So what is this task anyway?" She asked wanting to at least get some answers. Jeff was nervously rubbing his arm as he refused to make eye contact with her.

"Well we will be infiltrating the home of the enemy. There is something we need, and we need you to be a distraction or at least be stealthy enough to not get caught. We also nee to capture His son Matt. Mikara agreed to give us her key so at least that's one problem we don't have to worry about." Masky said to Luna.

"Wait, wait, wait.... You want me to possibly get killed AND you want me o help you capture the man who stole my eye! Are you insane!" She retorted.

"We don't have much of a choice anymore Luna! We need to do this, so we can have an advantage against Zalgo. Please understand." Masky said with a sigh. Luna nodded as she rubbed her forehead. She understood perfectly she just didn't appreciate being used as bait, especially against someone who wants her dead. She personally thought this plan was the dumbest thing she has ever heard but in the current moment she had no other choice.

"Fine, I don't really have much of a choice anyway." She stated.

"Thank you for understanding, I promise we won't let you die." Masky promised as her lead them out of the door. Luna felt a sense of dread pitting in her stomach as they walked. It did not take long to reach the mansion of creepiness. It looked old but still livable. It sent chills down Luna's spine as she stared at it. Out of the group Masky was the first one to walk through the gate, followed by Luna and Jeff. The group began to sneak to the back of the house to use the back door. Once at the door Masky pulled out a black key which Luna assumed was the one given to him by Mikara, Masky inserted the key into the doors keyhole and turned it. A small click sounded as Masky opened the door slowly. The group snuck into the house and Masky signaled them to split up.

"We are looking for a USB drive, it has important information on it." He whispered. They split up Masky taking Matt's room and Masky too Zalgo's. Luna was given the study to search. After a bit of searching Masky found the drive in Zalgo's room hidden in a drawer. He made his way out of the house and waited for the other to join. Shortly after Masky got out side he was joined by Jeff. Luna had frozen up in the study as a man stood up from the desk.

"So, you have finally come, have you. I was wondering when this day would come." The man said as he approached her. Luna backed up against the wall to scared to even think of running for the door. She was absolutely petrified and had no clue what to do.

"Mmmmm I can smell your fear, Go on run, scream. You can't escape." He said as grabbed her by the throat and raised her against the wall.

"You will never escape me, just like your parents. Your mother put up a great fight though. You will die. It is your destiny." He said with a sneered as his hand closed around her throat. She felt the panic well up in her chest and scared tears flow from her eye. She kicked her legs trying to kick him away from her, but she couldn't move them much. A new emotion was starting to boil inside her.

"I Will Not Die! Not Here!" She yelled as the white of her eye turned black. She got the energy and reeled her foot and kicked it into his face. He let go of her and she bolted from the study and out the back door.

"Come on guys, we got to move quickly." She said as she ran for the woods across the street. Masky and Jeff followed her at a speed just slower than hers. A booming laugh echoed in the air but began fading the deeper they got in the woods. Eventually they made it back to the manor and Luna collapsed on the ground, gasping for air as the other two caught up with her. She could still feel his hand gripping tightly on her throat. She never wanted to do that again, to feel that again. She still felt so enraged at the whole situation.

"What happened in there? Are you okay?" Masky asked as Jeff just stared in shock and concern.

"No, I am not OKAY! I was almost strangled to death! I found out my mother is probably dead! Oh, and that I am destined to DIE! SO, No NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST BIT AM I OKAY NOR DO I THINK I WILL EVER BE AGAIN!" She yelled as she slammed a fist into the ground. Little did she know that she had a hand print across her neck. She felt a burning sensation on her neck.

"Ahhhhh! Why does my neck burn so much!" She said as she scratched at her neck. Panic was once again setting in as her breathing got heavy and shallow.

"Just calm down we need to get you inside." Jeff said as he picked her up from off the ground.

"If you can't move then I will just have to carry your ass back inside." Jeff carried her to the door as she tried to calm her brain. The burning was just so intense she couldn't help it. Once inside everyone seemed to crowd around her, which didn't help with the state of panic she was already in. a burst on energy came from her which pushed everyone away. Jeff slid back almost dropping her.

"I-I need to be alone... Please." She said as the black faded from the whites of her eye. Jeff Set her down softly.

"If you need any of us... even me, don't be afraid to come get us." Jeff said softly to her before she walked off. Luna simply nodded her head and headed back up the stairs and into her room. Masky came up to Jeff and laid a hand on his shoulder.

"We still need to get Matt, Jeff. We are going to need her for that. We can only spare her an hour before we need to head back out. Our contacts are going to be bringing him close enough for us to capture with little to no fight." Masky told him. He sighed and nodded his head.

"I understand. Let me deal with her, she is less likely to punch my face is compared to you." Jeff muttered as he went up the stairs. He went and knocked on Luna's door.

"Leave me alone." She said, but Jeff opened the door anyway.

"Sorry can't do that, I have to annoy you whether you want me to or not. Now you need to tell me what's going on inside the little mind of yours." Jeff said to her as he closed the door behind him and joined her sitting on the bed.

"It's.... I am just so scared. I don't want to die, but I feel that's going to be my only option no matter what I do. It scares the ever living hell out of me. I never wanted this... Why did this have to happen to me... I was normal... just a child when I was picked for this fate. I didn't even have a choice in the matter. I was to young to even care." Luna said as she began to cry.

"I just want all this to be over. It hurts so much, and I hate it." She cried as she leaned against him. He sighed and softly petted her hair.

"We have all gone through the pain. It's just a part of the job description. I wish I.... We could ease the pain for you, but we can't your heart will break, but I know you are strong enough to over come it. You are a strong girl Luna, even if you think you aren't. You were hand picked for this role, whether or not you want it is far beyond control. This was what you were born for. You are not destined to die, he is just trying to get into your head. Don't let him beat you." Jeff told her, trying to encourage her and help sooth her, even if it was just a little. He felt an emotion boiling up inside him that he couldn't quite identify. He shrugged it off not wanting to pay to much attention to it in the current moment for he knew he had some not so great news to tell her. He didn't want to tell her cause he knew it may make her upset again. She had gone through a lot in her first few days in this new life.

"I have something I need to tell you Luna."

"I already know.... You still need me to come with to capture Matt. I don't want to but I know there is no choice in this moment so why deny it... right?" Luna said with a bit of sadness still straining in her voice.

"Unfortunately, Masky is willing to give you an hour cool down. I know it may not help that much but at least it something."

"I guess so, an hour is better than nothing... Thank you for listening to my complaining." She said as she sat straight up. Jeff rubbed the back of his head.

"Hey, its no problem. I'm sure one us would have done it, you just so happened to get stuck with me." He said forcing a small laugh. He had a sudden memory that he had forgotten. He pulled a mask out of his hoodie pocket. It had a single eye hole that had the same swirl pattern that she had on her face. It also had a part missing from the top and crack like markings on the other half of the mask.

"I was supposed to give this to you yesterday, but I must have forgotten. Boss made it for you." He handed it to her, but she hesitated for a brief second before taking it in her hands.

"it looks beautiful."

"I bet it would look even better once you try it on." Luna chuckled a bit before she placed the mask on her face. It seemed to fit perfectly and hold into place.

"It feels almost perfect." Luna stated as she brushed a hand against her masked face. A knock came from the door before the voice of Masky spoke.

"The hour is passed we must be going now." Luna's heart dropped, but she stood and went to the door opening it.

"Let's do this." She said to Masky, who was surprised to see Luna in a mask.

"Alright follow me." Masky said as her lead them away from the room.
