Yo yo daddy-o!

How the diddly-dandy are you doing? Hey, guess what? Go on, guess! No, that's not it. Don't be crude. This is a family show.

I'll tell ya. Christmas is coming! That's right! Goosey Goosey is getting fat, but aren't we all? Well, you know what that means, don't you? That's right. Horror, terror, fright and frivolities. What's that you say? You were expecting fun, gifts, tinsel and turkey?

Well, think again. In the asylum, no-one can hear you scream - well, they can but they're the ones making you scream - and Christmas is no different. As such, I'd like to introduce you to a plethora (good word that, unless you have a lisp) of frightfully good stories from a masterful troupe of Wattpad writers, each of whom is wanting to take you into the dark recesses of your imagination this December. They're preparing to fill your mind with images of seasonal horror to send you quivering beneath your duvet.

Did I scare you there? Did I? Huh? No? See, I'm a pussycat. A declawed one at that (the drugs they give me in here to keep me quiet make sure of that). You don't need to be afraid of me, though I can't say the same for the authors herein.

From the same pens (or keyboards... or touch screens - but it doesn't have the same gravitas) which gave you the Halloween anthology Dark Dreams, come these chilling tales of scary stuff.

Hmmm... Should I push it a bit with the tension there? Build the atmosphere with layers of luscious dread? Should I draw you in and send shivers tinkling along the ivories of your spine like a skeletal piano?

Nope. Not gonna. I don't need to. I'm sane and 'normal' and not scary in the slightest.

These guys, though...

I'll let you find out for yourself. Abandon all hope ye... You know how it goes. Hang on to your danglies, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
