Entry details: One story per author (please post the form in the comments section of "Submissions" chapter). If you are not a writer then feel free to suggest a story you would like to see win. All genres are welcome! Incomplete stories are perfectly fine also.

Judging criteria: Best First Scene

What is a scene? A scene in a story can be a chapter long or just a few paragraphs. Each novel is made up of different scenes. They are usually identified with a break of some kind to tell the reader that time has indeed passed and characters are at a new location/point in time/or you are viewing the story through the eyes of another character (change in POV).
