Why not just steal -novas ideas? I ask myself. No, that would be mean, but I'll have a killer/ kidnapper in the story line since it's getting a bit boring other than Skye falling in love with Light. Ahh...

The group was dreaming. Dreaming about whatever they wished. Well, most of their dreams were pretty good. Except for M's which was more of a nightmare. She was running, running for her life, a figure chasing after her with a knife.

And then it was reality.

"Wow, usually M is up cooking or something." Clint rubs his head, yawning. "I know right?" Natasha clings onto Clint, nuzzling her head on his shoulder. Skye wiped her eyes, and grabbed a bowl of icecream. "Mmhm.. M.. Probably.. Yeah."

Tony walked in, his eyes blood shot. "Whoa what happened to you?" Steven popped out from his room.

"My mission from Ichigo. That's what happened." Tony yawned, belly-flopping on the couch.

"I'm going to see if M is awake guys..." Skye says, abandoning her bowl of icecream.

Skye walked in M's room, and checked the bed... She wasn't there.. Maybe she took an early shower.. But she checked the bathroom and wasn't there either.. Skye stood in shock, and ran to her friends that were chatting in the kitchen.

"M ISNT HERE!" Skye flailed her arms, and a tear formed in the corner of her left eye. "WE NEED TO FIND HER!" She screamed, and everyone jumped. "Okay, well where's L?"

"Jogging.. It's his new thing." Tony sighed as he said that, and started snoring.

As if on cue, L opened the front door, seeing his friends. He saw that M wasn't there.. "Where's M?" He questioned sternly.

"We thought you'd know where she is." Natasha says.

"SHES MISSING L YOU HAVE TO HELP!" Skye hugs L, who awkwardly hugs her back.

L's dark orbs were giant, in shock. "L, grab a banana from the pantry, you need some food before you call Ichigo and tell him to move the due date back." Rogers replies.Thursday was tomorrow.

L nods. Natasha hugs Skye, both with drooping smiles. "I'll find M on my own. You guys work on your missions. The farthest I'll probably get the due date is Friday or Saturday." L rubbed his temple, and tears were in his eyes. Before he could let them see, he walked into his dark, cold, room.

Skye wiped her tears with her silky hair, and treated back to her room. M was one of her best friends, and now she was gone, maybe even dead. L was going to take care of it though.. Right?

To get her mind off of the loss, she started working on her mission: Question Yukio About Elle.

She grabbed a dirty blonde wig, and applied light powder. Quickly changing into her cerulean dress, she got on raven heels, and added a floppy hat.

The lunch was reserved, but she could easily change that on her computer. Yukio and Riruka were attending it, it was some kind of party for their aunts.

Skye grabbed her metallic clutch, with crystals embedded at the top.

Skye walked to the private room where they were hosting the lunch. She stayed close to the door, and waited. Until someone behind her grabbed her neck, dragging her behind the restaurant.

They had blindfolded Skye, a low voice said, "I know why you're here, and what you're going to ask me."

"What would I ask you then?" Skye spat out.

"Elle." Was all the low voice said, "You wanted to find Yukio... Right?"

Skye knew it would be bad to say yes. "Not quite.. I wanted to know more about Elle.. I'm on a file with Lawliet." She sneered.

The darkness was replaced by the sunlight, and in a car. Skye was duck-taped to the seat. And the driver, was Yukio. The guy she needed information from.

He's even cuter in person, she thought. No! This guy works for that crazy chick, Riruka.

Skye sighed, "can I go?"

"No."

"Why not?.. I can go bake cookies while wasting time here, plus I think my friend is dead and also I had a schedule with my boyfriend and also-"

"Shut up."

"Why should I?" Skye teased. Getting on people's nerves was her specialty. (Don't even comment -novas )

"Skye, I know you're lying. And he's not your boyfriend yet, even though you guys have kissed like, what, two times?.. And your friend is probably not dead."  Yukio says bluntly.

"...I'm suppose to know all about-"

"Well guess what Skye?.. Riruka has documents on all of you guys, and I happen to take interest in your relationship with Light Yagami." Yukio smirked, and Skye just blushed.

"I also know that almost half of the time when you're near someone, you're blushing."

Her face turns more of a reddish-pop pink.

"That's not true." Skye whined.

Yukio rolled his eyes. He was still driving. "And also Gin..." He started. Getting a towel from the box compartment, he rubbed off all her powdered makeup, and took of her wig, throwing it in the back.

"You're paying for that." Skye huffed. "Where are you taking me?"

"To see Gin."

"Why?"

"Don't ask questions, Skye."

"Don't call me Skye! Yukio!"

"Whatever."

"Since you messed up my hair-do, you have to take out the bobby-pins from my bun." Skye ordered.

"Fine." Yukio, tussled with the bun at first, then finally took it out. "I also know you throw hurtful punches, and that you like to listen to J-Dub."

Skye just smirks, and blushes even more redder tone. "I have a CD in my bag."

Yukio rolls his eyes, and grabs her bag, taking the only CD in there, and sliding the disc on the music player. His car was pretty nice.
