Crescent's p.o.v

It has been a couple weeks since my moment with Stefan.We have been going behind Elena's back and meeting secretly.My reason is because I don't want to die and his reason is because he doesn't want her to do something she will regret.I got up from my position on the couch and to my room.I opened the door to see Elena reading my diary.I gasped."Elena h-how could you!"I exclaimed running to her and tried to take it away from her.She stood up and pushed me to the ground and put her foot on my chest while smirking."Dear journal,Elena started hitting me today.I think she is just playing games.She is my sister and nothing is greater than the bond of family."She said reading my entry on the day she started hitting me."Dear journal,the hitting turned into beatings after mom and dad died.Everyone keeps bullying me and it is making me sad.I hope one day this will be better.Mom and dad wouldn't want this for Elena."After she read that last sentence she got angry and put her foot on my throat."You wouldn't know what they would want.Your a pathetic waste of time and space."She spat at me while crushing my throat more.I was gasping for breath and clawing at her foot."Pl-Please...El-E..Elena s..stop please.."I manages to choke out.She kicked me in my side one time and threw my diary in my face.This is why I never wrote about my secret meetings or about Stefan.

I backed up to the corner of my room and hugged my knees to my chest whilst tears streamed down my face.Why did it have to be me?I looked at my alarm and saw that it was almost time for my meeting with Stefan.I got in my shower and took a quick bath.I got out,dried off and put on my outfit.(Outfit on top).I grabbed my phone,headphones and charger and put it all in my cardigan pocket.I walked downstairs and looked around to make sure no one was looking and walked outside.I walked to our secret spot which was a meadow with a pond and waterfall by it.

"Crescent."I heard and I turned around to see Stefan.I walked up to him and smiled while hugging him.He wrapped his armed around my waist and put his face in the crook of my neck."Hey Stefan."I whispered hugging him tighter.We haven't see each other in about two weeks since Elena always was with Stefan.He pulled back and kissed me.I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck.He put one of his hands on my face and kept the other on my waist.We pulled apart and I smiled."I've missed you."I said turning away from him and he pulled me close so my back was against his chest."I missed you too but just one question."He said and I nodded."What is it?"I asked."What happned to your neck?"He asked putting his hands on my waist and his face in the crook of my neck.I flinched and he rubbed my arm with his hand."You know me.I'm clumsy."I lied and he sighed not convinced."Please tell me the truth."He said and a tear slipped down my face and I wiped it away hoping he wouldn't see."No more secrets remember."He said turning me to face him."I can't.It-It-"I was cut off by him."Please crescent."He begged looking into my eyes."This might ruin your relationship with Elena."I said not looking at him.

Elena p.o.v

I watched Stefan interact with that pathetic no good sister of mine."Who cares what Elena thinks."Stefan said and I got even more angrier.She better not tell him or she gets an extra beating.She needs to go.Disappear and never come back so I could never have to see her with Stefan again."I-"Was the last thing I heard her say before I left the scene.I'm giving her a beating anyway.

Back to crescent p.o.v

"I want to-"I started looking down."Then tell me."He pushed."I-I.."My breathing sped up and came in quick pants."Crescent breath.Just breath in and out like this."He said taking deep breaths and I got in rhythm with his breathing.He hugged me and kissed the top of my head."I'm sorry.You don't have to tell me anything."Stefan said rubbing his hand in circles on my back.That calmed me down and he knew it.He led me to a log and I put my head on his shoulder.

"Why do you stay with me?"I said and he looked down at me."Huh?"He asked."Why do you stay with me,a loser with no life when you have the perfect Elena Gilbert?"I said depressingly."Because I love you and not her."He said rubbing my arm."But she's pretty and smart and-"I was cut off by him kissing me."No you're pretty and smart and I love everything about you."He said moving some hair out my face."You sure?"I asked looking at him."I'm positive."He said holding me close.We just sat there embracing each other's warmth and love.It was sun down and the sky was turning a light jade color.Sadly our time together had to come to an end.We both stood up and hugged each other."I'll see you later,sun."I said reluctantly letting him go."By moon."He said.That was our nicknames for each other.

I kissed him goodbye and walked back home.I opened my door and was met with the angry face of Elena.My eyes widened in fear and I tried backing up but she only grabbed my arm in a tight hold and dragged me upstairs to her room.She ties me to the bed and grabbed a belt.She raised the belt and lowered her hand and it landed on my legs.I tried to jerk my legs back but I couldn't.She kept bringing the belt down harder and harder and I pushed myself not to scream and cry in pain.I moved around as much as I could which was not much.She stopped hitting me and untied the ropes.She grabbed me by my hair and threw me into my room.I groaned in pain and put on my nightclothes and I climbed into bed.I thought about the happy things in my life and I fell asleep.
