Crescent p.o.v

I woke up and looked down expecting to see a lot of scars only to see most of them gone.'WHAT THE FLUFFY CHEESE BALLS HAPPENED.'I thought.I got up and went to the bathroom and took a shower.After the shower I brushed my soon-to-be frizzy hair.Wait hold up I thought pieces of my hair was short.How the beep did my hair grow that fast.Oh well.Once I got my hair under control I went to my closet and picked out a black top that says 'I don't care what people gotta say so shut it' in white(I really want a shirt that says it) some jeans a white sweater and black toms.

I walked out of my room to bump into Jenna"How do I look?"She asks."Depends on where your going."I said."Jeremy's parent teacher conference.Hair up or down."She asked.She put her hair up."Sexy stewerdest."I said.Down."Boozy house wife."I said."Up it is"She said."Where is jeremy?"I asked."He left early.Said something about getting to wood shop class to finish a bird house."She said."There is no wood shop is there.She trailed off"Nope."I said popping the 'p'.

"Well I have to go so see ya."I said walking downstairs.I grabbed my bag and walked to the school.I kept my head down so nobody can see my face."Crescent!"I heard.The only people who actually know my name are Stefan Elena-which she barely uses- and Jeremy -who I barely see-.I turned around and saw Matt.When he got to me and he smiled."You know my name?"I asked him confused.

"Yeah um about the other day at the grill."He said."What about it?"I asked."Well I just wanted to say I am sorry for being mean to you over the years and I was wondering if we can start over.I listened to Elena and that was stupid of me when I didn't know you."He said."Ok but what did Elena tell you that I said about you?"I asked."That I am a selfish jock wanna-be and can't do anything if it saves my life."He replied casually.

"Wow I would never say that to anyone.So you really want to start over?"I asked him.He nodded."Ok.Hi I am Crescent Gilbert."I said holding out my hand."Matt Donavan."He said shaking my hand.I smiled and dropped my hand."You coming to the comet tonight?"He ask."I don't think um Elena or anyone else would like me there."I said twirling a strand of hair around my finger.A habit I developed when I was younger."Who cares what they think.And besides I want you there."He said.I looked at him surprised."You do?"I asked.We started walking to the school together.He nodded."Yeah your pretty cool.I don't even know why I said those things to you."He said."Uh thank you Matt.I have to go before I'm late.Gotta jet."I said quickly and ran into the school."Bye."I heard him say.I ran into the school and walked to my first class.

I went to my first class if the day with Mr.Tanner.I love history but Mr.Tanner just makes it horrible.

I sat in my usual seat in the back and got out my text book.I started reading on the page I left off.

These books are all wrong.My parents told me stories about the confederate soldiers in 1864 and all I had to say was I feel sorry for the ones who lived in 1864.They just laughed and tickled me.

*Skip school*

I walked in my room and took a shower.I put on some tights and one of my dad's old shirts.I heard the door bell and moved to go downstairs but stopped.Elena would kill me if she sees me but I haven't eaten anything all day.I shrugged and walked downstairs.

I walked in the dining room and saw Elena had guest.I tried to quietly walk out but they heard me.They all turned to me and all glared but Stefan and this guy with black hair and blue eyes.'Dang'I quickly thought and turned around."Sorry I didn't know you had company I am just going to go."I said quickly and walked back upstairs.

I am so in trouble now.I will be dead by 6 o'clock and the police will never find my body then I will just be here to rot.Oh me gurd.Oh me gurd.Oh me gurd.I'm dead.I'm dead.I am so dead.Lets just hope they find my body at least one or two days later.

I sat on my bed and looked up at the moon on my ceiling.What did I ever do to deserve this life.Couldn't I have been born in the tenth century where I wouldn't have ever even met Elena Gilbert.

I heard my door open and close and I froze in fear.I looked up to see Jeremy.I sighed in relief."Do you know what's going on down there?"He asked referring to Elena and her gang."No I am not aloud out the room."I said getting under the covers."Tell Vicki I said 'hi'."I said closing my eyes and falling asleep.

*2 hours later*

I was pushed out of my bed.When my body made contact with the floor I hissed in pain.I looked up to see Elena with an angry look in eyes."What did I tell you about interrupting me when I have guest."She said coming over to my side of the bed."T-To not to."I said backing away."And yet you did it anyways.You broke a rule and that means punishment."She said picking me up by my hair and punching me in the face.She dragged my to the bathroom and I saw the bathtub was full with water.When I realized what she was doing I started struggling trying to get out her grip.

"I'm sorry I didn't know just please don't do this.Please El-"I was cut off by her pushing my head under the water.I tried to get air in my lungs but she was to strong.She pulled me up for air and started chocking me."Next time do what I say and this won't happen."She said dropping me and walking out the room.I drained the tub of water and crawled back into my room.

I sat on my bed and cried.I've been a good person so why did I have this life?I never asked for this and I always get the bad out of things.I get bullied,I get abused,no one loves me I can't take it anymore.

I walked downstairs grabbed a knife and walked back to my room and to the wall.I was about to plunge the knife in my stomach when I was stopped by someone.It was stefan."What do you think your doing?"He asked taking the knife and throwing it in some direction."I can't do this anymore Stefan.I've been a good person why did I get this life huh."I said as tears made their way down my face.

"It's ok Crescent."He said letting me go and holding me.He then did something that surprised me.He kissed me.I immediately kissed back.My fingers found it's way to his hair and we stayed like that until we had to pull apart for air.

He started to kiss my neck and I felt something sharp prick my neck.Stefan stopped and got up.I couldn't see his face."Stefan."I said softly."Stefan look at me."I said turning his head with my fingers.What I saw shock me to no end.

Stefan had fangs and he had veins under his eyes.His eyes were red and dilated.I put my hand on his face.He looked shocked."Your not afraid?"He questions."Should I be?"I asked raising and eyebrow.

Suddenly I was up against my dresser with Stefan in front of me."I could hurt you in a second."He said."If you wanted to hurt me than I would have already been hurt."I said.I was suddenly moved to my bed and Stefan was above me.He smashed his lips onto mine and we stayed like that until he had to go home.

Before he could walk out the door I stopped him."Wait.What are you?"I asked."A vampire."He said then walked out the door.I got under my covers and slept with a smile on my face.
