Chapter 24: "Learn from Experience"
The journey from the station, after leaving all his classmates to their way for the internships, was rather uneventful. Something to be expected when your mentor was Aizawa. Both Aizawa and (Y/N) returned to the school grounds.
"I never knew we had this room in here..." (Y/N) said taken back. Although it was not out of the ordinary for the room itself, it had nothing out of the ordinary from any other space design for sparring. But more by the fact that it was never mentioned.
"Because you are not supposed to...''The training would be held on one of the lower grounds of the central building, it was a room used by the teachers of the school, as it was located near their respective classes. "But it's a special occasion..."
"You didn't want to find another place to train, right?" (Y/N) said with an unimpressed expression.
Aizawa looked unimpressed as well, not even trying to come up with a comeback. "Let's... not change the subject..." Took a moment to sign, starting to look for a mat and placing it at the center of the room.
"This is how it is going to work, during the week of internships, you will be spending the first hours of the day training with me. The rest of the day, Midnight would take you under her wing to show you the ropes..." Aizawa took off his shoes, there was no need to change into a track suit or anything like that, he was always in a combat ready outfit.
"So, what is in store for today? Are you going to teach me how to use your capture scarf?" (Y/N) took one of the ends from Aizawa's capture tape scarf.
"Today would be your easiest day..." Aizawa slapped (Y/N) hand away from his scarf as the teen had a rather funny undignified expression. "There is only one thing on our agenda. We will have a sparring."
"A sparring..."
"Naturally... I want to see for myself where you stand. That way the more I can help you and also to prove a point..." Aizawa explained the activity, it was vital for him to understand what he is working with.
"It sounds interesting..." The shadow boy started to take his shoes off leaving him with his own tracksuit. This one consisted of a short sleeve shirt that was completely black, complemented by a set of pants with matching color and straight white lines to the side of the legs. "I'm ready!" He assumed his own stand while covering his hands in shadows.
"There is just one catch..." Eraserhead raised his finger in front of his student. As a relaxed smile started to make his way into his face. "No quirk!" His scarf raised and his eyes were red, his quirk was active.
"Huh?" He had a perplexed expression. As he witnessed how the darkness dismantled. He started to realize how exposed he was now.
Aizawa went in for a punch, he was so fast for (Y/N), the only thing that he could do was dodge. But Eraserheads attack was so fast, that in consequence the dodge was sloppy. Losing his footing and falling to the ground. He regained his composure and tried to attack with a couple of punches of his own. Each attempt was blocked and returned, there were a few times where Aizawa was able to return the fire so effectively that it was (Y/N) who punched himself.
"I can practically dodge your attacks on my sleep, they have no real technique. Dealing with your classmates and dealing with real pros or villains is something completely different..." He blocked with the palm of his hand right in front of his face the punch that (Y/N) went for.
After finishing that sentence, Aizawa flipped (Y/N) easily. Our hero practically did a 360 degree rotation in the middle of the air before completely slamming his face against the floor.
"Well, there are many things that you need to improve... Your defense needs work, your attack, everything in general..." Aizawa said rather plainly while he knelt down a little bit to talk to (Y/N), whose face hadn't left the floor.
"Didn't you went a little overboard?" Sweating a little bit by the side of his face. Feeling defeated but embarrassed above all, he was taken down so easily. Finally raising to his feet.
"This is the point I mentioned. Your quirk is quite impressive but that made you sloppy. Most of the time, you remain within certain distance, and finally try to overwhelm your opponent. And that has worked for you... at least until now, but the moment you find someone that shortens that distance and contrarest your power, you will be at their mercy..." Aizawa only needed a few minutes of sparring in order for him to see the biggest defect in (Y/N)'s dynamic.
"Like this..." Aizawa then put his foot behind our shadows user's leg to trip him by using the force of his arm to slam him again against the mat.
"That wasn't fair, I wasn't ready..." The boy screamed as he regained himself almost immediately after his fall. He was starting to sound embarrassed, more than before, as he had red on his face.
"Are you ready now?" The teacher asked kindly and even sounded friendly.
"Yeah, I think so..." (Y/N) responded sounding innocent about the matter. Once again Aizawa made him do a 360 degree fall in a second. Turning himself over to his back and looking completely to the void of the ceiling.
"I think the floor and me are starting to become a little too close for my liking..."
"I kind of surprise someone as smart as you who hasn't figured that out..." Eraserhead extended his hand to help him get up. He had seen enough for the day, this information had to suffice to know where to start with him.
"Ouch..." He said. Sounding hurt by the comment, which had no intention of being sugar coated.
"Outside of my vision, I am basically quirkless. But if you can defeat someone like me without using your quirk, then you have a shot..." He took (Y/N) by the shoulders looking at him directly in the eyes. Friendly slapping the shoulders of the kid, right after finishing his claim.
"I have so much to do..." (Y/N) signed with disappointment.
"Well, you need to start somewhere..." He said leaving the room, before tossing a cold water bottle to (Y/N) before walking away from the room. Leaving the young kid with his own thoughts.

"I see. You were the ones who attacked the U.S. And you want me to add me to your numbers." Stain was in the presence of the main ring leaders of the League of Villains and the ones responsible for the attack on the USJ. Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and the Demon Lord - All for One, although this last one was only present with a monitor that only showed the audio.
"Yeah. Come on, you've got so much more experience as a villain, sir." Shigaraki started the conversation with the Hero Killer, he needed to show off the deeds of Stain, he was more than qualified.
"What are you after?" Stain stipulated.
"For now, I just want to kill All Might. I want to break everything I don't like. Damn kids like this, too... Everything..." Shigaraki showed a photo of both Izukua and (Y/N) on his hand.
"I was foolish to be interested. You are the type of person I hate the most." It only took him those sentences to realize how stupid this request was. For someone guided by a clear resolve like Stain, someone like Shigaraki was the worst of the worst in his book. Someone that didn't think further than just his emotions.
"Huh?" Shigaraki really couldn't come to understand what he was referring to.
"You want me to go along with your childish tantrum? What meaning is there in killing without conviction?" He went for the side of his hips where he had his blade on. He was ready to start the combat, someone like Shigaraki had no value, and had no place in his vision of what society should be.
"Master, is it all right to let this continue?" Kurogiri had doubts about how to proceed. He probably didn't anticipate that the discussions would go so wrong this quickly.
"This is fine! There's no point if we just tell him the answer. He should think about where he still needs to mature. Spur on his growth! That is what it means to educate." All for One let this one slide, Tomura needed this lesson, it was vital to become the successor he had foreseen.

"In addition, heroes are allowed to have side jobs. When this was made official, there was a lot of argument about this, but that ended thanks to our popularity and public demand. So now, I'm about to film a commercial. Stick around, okay?"
Uwabami was the snake heroine, she was a beautiful woman with blonde hair, with an exquisite dark purple dress that hugged her hourglass figure. Leaving almost nothing to the imagination, while on her head had 3 different color snakes that complemented her attire.
In front of her were the young yet promising heroines in training in the U.A. Momo and Kendo, both wearing their characteristic hero suits.
"I wanted to experience something more hero-like, though..." Kendo was not sure that this is how she planned her day as an apprentice to a professional Hero. She wanted to know combat and the important decision making that they must do, not how the heroine put makeup.
"No, this is not something you can avoid if you want to become a pro!Besides, she is one who fell for a pathetic little me... I will learn as much as I can!" Momo took Kendo by surprise, out of the two, she was the one that must fire up. After her performance in the Tournament, she needed a form to reassure her confidence, and it was by learning as much from her new mentor.
"But all we can do while you're filming is watch, right?" Kendo put her worries upfront.
"Do you know why I chose you two?" Uwabami raised from her seat, her make up all done for the day. And proceed to face the young ladies that were demanding for answers.
"It's because..." Kendo started but didn't think through to finish the sentence.
"Isn't it because you fell for our qualifications as heroes?" Momo, optimistic as she is, wanted to believe that even after failing, there was still hope for someone like her on this path.
"Of course! But that's not all." Uwabami clarified.
"Hm?" There was more to it, but what could be just as important than the qualities of a hero for someone like this heroin
"It's also because you're cute!" She let that sink in, into the minds of these young girls.
"Huh?" The poor girls now realize... how wrong it was to accept her invite.

"An important part of being a hero is knowing how to pass idle hours. Do you understand?" Mt. Lady was lying on the sofa of her apartment, she is living the life. Resting on her house still in her hero suit, enjoying a bag of chips. Explaining what she considers important for a hero nowadays based on her experience.
"Yeah..." Mineta was dressed in an apron, like a good housewife. Using the vacuum to clean the Mt. Lady's apartment. He was mad and clearly having second thoughts about choosing her as his mentor. His +18 expectations were sadly turned down, when he went for the sexy heroine.
It seemed that he was going to be stuck on the same routine for all the internships. She uses him as her personal janitor and butler. But the silence was broken by Mt. Lady, her tone had changed, going from the monotone vibe she had a moment ago to a more excited tone. She got up and was sitting on the couch looking at Mineta.
"Actually...There's something that I need to ask of you, but it's kind of embarrassing..." She confessed while scratching the back of her head in embarrassment. A sudden scarlet color invaded her cheeks that were not hidden by the mask. Looking at the floor, unable to engage visual contact.
"You can ask me anything!" Mineta asked excitedly, eyes widened and smoke coming out of his nostrils. Maybe after all this torture perhaps the gods will let him on a reward for everything he had to endure until now. His hormones got the best of him.
"Well, you see... the thing is..." Mt.Lady was playing with her fingers, unsure to actually speak her mind.
"Aha...''Mineta was having a whole innuendo scene playing on the back of his head. As he was spitting saliva and breathing like a dog in heat.
"You know (Y/N), don't you?" Mt. Lady finally pronounced what she wanted. Having a face of embarrassment, she couldn't believe that she actually said it.
"Oh..." Mineta's whole fantasy would come crashing down. Responding with a tone that could only be described as "Death on the Inside."
"I gave him my number, but he hasn't called yet... Maybe I should call him myself..." Mt. Lady resumed to lay down on the sofa, thinking about the Young Shadow User. Remembering the first time they met, during the sludge villain incident. A little bit frustrated that there was no response from his part to her advancements.
"Stupid sexy (Y/N)" Mineta had tears going down his face and sniffs came from his nose as he continued to use the vacuum to clean.
"Do you perhaps have his number, I kinda like when they play hard to get..." She bit her finger, having a little fantasy herself. Having someone so talented and fresh like him was a guilty pleasure she had.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Welcome to My Hero Agency!" Midnight announced with pride in her voice. The building consisted of a semi-cylinder, composed mostly by see-through windows. By the size alone you could infer that it had 20 levels at the very least. Walking through the mobile doors gave you an even better idea of how big it was in reality.
Our hero could see many people walking with suits, the exceptions were the sidekicks or the heroes that were stationed there for the moment. The sound of steps and work, show how this agency dances to a rather fast pace rhythm.
"I always wondered how this place looked from the inside..." (Y/N) following close behind Midnight. It was her agency, obvious that she would move like it was the back of her hand. "And I'm impressed that you can manage it even when you are in U.A." Heroes that worked like teachers in schools or just heroes with side-jobs for that matter would most likely evade getting involved in the responsibilities of handling an agency.
An ambition like that could ruin your health.
"Oh, yes. I come personally every chance I have, but most of the time, the agency is under the surveillance of my dear sidekicks..." Midnight talked as a matter of fact, now it made sense how she could multitask her responsibilities. "Which is to meet us very soon..." The clock on the wall pointed 5 minutes before noon.
It was like she had summoned them right after finishing her phrase. Four well suited men approached the duo.
"Mistress Midnight...!" The group of young men called in unison. All of them were probably between their late twenties or their early thirties at most. And to be direct, all of them were clearly attractive, each in their own way.
"The original Midnight Boys..." (Y/N) had Izuku as a best friend. Someone like him would keep him updated on anything related to the Hero World. Midnight in particular was a heroine that would constantly be on the newsfeed, so her sidekicks would share the spotlight from time to time. "I thought that you retired..." He finished
"Oh, no. We just changed to the Administrative Branch..." The Midnight Boy with glasses was first to respond to the comment, as the three just found amusing how the situations can easily be taken out of context. The one responding sounded like some sort of second Iida, formal... Not to mention that his whole appearance screamed "Leader" of this group.
"These four are the reasons why my agency runs so smoothly..." Midnight took (Y/N) by the shoulder. While extending the other proudly to display this group of talented young men. They were her pride and joy.
"You are too Kind..." The Midnight boy with long messy hair felt flattered. This one in particular had winds to be someone who took pride in his image, fixing his attire and hair more compared to the other three.
"Well it's time for us to begin..." Like a little kid in a candy store, the bubbling side of Midnight personality showed itself. It was exciting to have (Y/N) as her prodigy for the internships. And she wanted to make sure made the most of it.
"Actually..." TheMidnight Boys said in unison. Midnight made a cold pause without trying to lose her smile, although now it could be better described as awkwardly forced. There was sweat going down her face, she didn't like it when those four interrupted her with that response.
"Oh...no..." Turning her head to face them, the smile was replaced by a look of fear. This called for bad news, she just knew it. "When you say that, it's always bad news..."
"There is a matter that needs to be attended to by you personally, Mistress Midnight. A negotiation over the renewal of the Agency's Permit..." The blonde Midnight Boy explained the problematic context, looking upon his teacher with sympathy.
"What! Those old geysers?!" Midnight was not happy hearing about them, you must be a true nuisance for her to have that sort of response about someone.
"YES!!!" The group of young men responded in unison. This was a matter of great importance for the Agency to be kept functioning. Although their jobs covered most of the important functions within the Agency, their hands were tied in aspects like this one, because only the owner had the power to take those decisions that were directly concerned with the Hero Association.
"But...But..." Midnight had a gloomy aura, talking as if she was ten years old that has been recently grounded. Trying to find an excuse for her situation.
"Don't be a spoiled brat...." The Midnight boy with the spiky hair folded his arms. It was not the first time that they had to deal with Midnight's attics.
"They are always trying to gain more ground each time, it's paying more for the same stuff..." Midnight yells back in anger.
"We know, and you need to let them know that..." He accommodated his glasses.
Meanwhile, (Y/N) was just standing there in the middle of the interaction. His eyes going back and forth with the argument between Midnight and her sidekicks, just existing in the background of the interaction.
"Arg, Alright, alright." Finally Midnight was done with the subject, she took a deep breath, placing her hands together in front her nose, she was trying to prepare for the headache to come. "(Y/N) please, make yourself at home. They are going to show you around..." She tried to give him a smile and assure him that this little inconvenience wouldn't mean trouble for his internship. "Please boys bring him to me in a few minutes, I don't intend to take long..." She instructed her sidekicks.
All that they needed to do was nod to her orders, before Midnight went to the nearest elevator to the main office at the top floor of the Agency. She had been working with them enough time for her to rest assured of their capability to get the job done.
Just when she got out of sight, all the Midnight boys started to circle around (Y/N). Taking in any sort of detail that his appearance could give them. Looking at him from up and down, quietly analyzing him. (Y/N) was sweating bullets as he awkwardly was left standing there, feeling like a run down animal left on the road for the vultures to have their fill.
"So, you are Mistress Midnight's new catch, huh?" The messy dark hair Midnight boy was the first one to break the silence. Although the other three had resumed their composure a few seconds ago, he was the only one that was still inspecting (Y/N).
"I don't like the sound of that..." (Y/N) was trying to discreetly take a tiny step backwards. Why it was him who needed to deal with the crazy ones. All his partners had decent mentors while he was stuck with people that always made him question the sanity of the world.
"Let me guess, she gets in your personal space?..." The blonde one asked. He himself got really close to his personal space, being face to face, separated by a few centimeters.
"More than once..." He clarified now giving a big step-backwards.
"She engages on unnecessary physical contact?..." The one with spiky hair got his attention. As a matter of fact (Y/N) was surprised, because just an instant ago, he was in front of him and now he was behind him.
"Yes..." He awkwardly responded.
"She has invited you to her office for extra credit?..." The leader of the Midnight boys was the only one that didn't have to get into his personal space to ask his concerns.
"..." Vietnam thoughts once again flooded his mind. Those intrusive ideas took him back in time to the end of his speech at the Sports Festival.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flashback
Turning, he found a sadistic Midnight who had a smile and look that emanated a very disturbing tension for our young student. He felt like a sheep in the wolf's mouth.
Midnight: "That turned me on!" Her grip on his shoulder increased. "Come to my office later, I will give you some "extra" credit when everything is done." She thrust her whip at one side, it was her form to scare (Y/N) at the same time it showed her dominance.
(Y/N) (In his mind): " My chastity is in danger."
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After losing himself a few minutes from reality, the Midnight Boys turned to look at him weirdly as the boy looked to the void. It took him a few instants to fully return as he looked embarrassed. "Let's not get into that.." He coughs in order to hide his embarrassment. Although, for the Midnight Boys, who had been in his position back on their day. His silence said more than anything.
"Let me guess, you are her favorite Student?" The last midnight boy asked his question, up until now they could recognize the usual pattern that Midnight follows when somebody catches her eyes.
"I...suppose..." He raised his hands as he wasn't really sure about the response. Although everything else was on point, he wouldn't go as far to assume that or more like he didn't want to assume it.
"He is a Midnight Boy!" All the sidekicks turn to look at one another, laughing as it was the most normal thing in the world.
"You say that as if it is a good thing..." He comically exclaimed, he was not sure that they understand that a teacher acting like that towards a student is a matter for the police or HR department.
"I remember the first time that happened to me, before becoming her sidekick... Such memories..." The long hair Midnight Boy said, exhaling with a clear emotion of longing in his voice as he had a hand up to the side of his head. As if he was remembering the best years of his life.
"You guys need therapy..." (Y/N) said with no hesitation whatsoever. But to be completely honest most of the characters of this anime need a certain level of therapy. "Hey! Where are you going?" He realized that they started walking without giving him a warning, following close behind them.
"Mistress Midnight will be done soon, so it's better that we start the tour, don't you think?" One of them clarified, without turning to look at him. While the others just decided to nod.
"As we were saying, that is the usual step by step she follows uncounsly when she finds someone of her interest..."
"Why me, though?" (Y/N) wanted to know, he can't be the only talented individual in the bunch, there were students like Todoroki or Bakugou (minus the anger issues, obviously) who settled solemnly on him.
"You are powerful, beautiful and prodigious... Everything that Mistress Midnight values... Back on the day, each of us were one of her biggest catches, but for her, you will be her crown jewel..." The one with glasses explained. (Y/N) couldn't help but have a tiny blush on his cheeks, he cannot be accustomed with how straightforward they can be with their comments.
"It's not like it's the first time she does that...!" The one with spiky hair turned to look at (Y/N) having a goofy smile as they were passing through different parts of the agency. Specifictly, the room that is designed so the employees can enjoy their lunch in peace.
"That doesn't make it better..." (Y/N) retort.
"We had the same thoughts as you when we first got scouted by her..." One of them got next to (Y/N) and took him by the shoulder, walking side by side. But now, it felt different, their features show that unlike before it was no longer a joke or goofing around.
"Once you get to meet her, you realize how much she cares about students and people in general..." The leader of the Midnight boys started to answer in defense of his mentor. She had a good heart on her.
"The way she is as she is, it's because she wants to impress young ones to be themselves, be confident and not feel as if they have to hide." Many things could be said about Midnight, she was inappropriate at times, loud, childish, etc. But you could never accuse her of not being genuine.
"We cannot imagine how many students she saved with that..." The last Midnight Boy confessed, he looked happy to that thought. Containing yourself, always feeling misunderstood, could easily take someone down a road they could regret. Sometimes, having someone like Midnight on the right moment, could turn that for the best.
The Conversation was coming down to a good conclusion. Although the agency was big, there was really not much to show, because most of it would be resumé into offices, meeting rooms, common areas like the cafeteria, there were not many things that it's worth remembering. Reaching the main office of the Agency that was right around the corner.
"I-I guess, I have never seen it like that...Maybe, I was wrong about her..." (Y.N) was having second thoughts about his mentor. Maybe he judged her too fast. Her sidekicks could be a great example of the positive force Midnight can represent on young impressionable students.
The Midnight boys were opening the door to the main office.
"Boys!!! I think I just find common ground on the negotiation..." The voice of Midnight was the first thing that they got from the room. Taking a few seconds to realize the next scenario. Midnight was on top of the table that was used for the negotiation, having some parts of her hero suit ripped. While she was surrounded by a bunch of men in suits that were completely knocked out.
It was obvious that at some point of the negotiation, Midnight had reached a dead end on the discussion. And considering that she had other things to do other than spending her time listening to the complaints of a bunch of geezers. She decided to speed things up a little bit with her quirk.
"We are so doomed..." The Midnight Boys and (Y/N) said in unison as all of them had an unimpressed face with a bullet of sweat going down the side of their heads. The boys were really trying to give a good impression about her, but it was things like these that made it rather challenging.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In one of the most insecure parts of the city, the bar that the League of Villains used as a quartel was currently in use. The Villains were in a moment where they needed to add more people to their cause, during this evening they had someone in mind. Someone that as for the moment was making a infamous name for himself.
"So, you want to add me into your numbers? No matter what you want to accomplish it is necessary to have conviction and desire. those without it and those who are weak will be weeded out. It's only natural... That's why it turns out like this..." Stein explained his motivation to the league of villains. He was one of the few that didn't choose a side in this war between heroes and villains, his idealistic persona made a side for himself.
The Hero Killer was brought in here by the villains in order to recruit him, but it was clear the response. As he stated his monologue, Shigaraki Tomura was neutralized into the ground, the blades of the hero killer dug into the floor next to the head of the villain. Standing over his body, demonstrating that he was not a challenge.
"Oww...too strong. Kurogiri, take this guy back..." One of the blades actually penetrated the villain's shoulder. Leaving a scarlet liquid behind on the floor of the bar.
"I-I can't move my body. It must be the hero killer's quirk..." The mist villain was on the other side of the table, he had a rugged shirt filled with blood on his arm. The effort made no difference, he was unable to move a single muscle.
"This society overgrown with fake heroes, where the word itself has lost its true meaning, and the criminals who wave their power around idly should all be purged." Stain continued with his reasoning.
"Hey, wait a sec...Not this palm...I'll kill you." Shigaraki showed fire deeply in his eyes. The hero killer was about to touch his mask. Of all the things that made him lose his cool, this one standed supreme. Taking the Stain's blade with his bare hand, starting to dismantle it with his mere touch. Even the hero killer flinches with something like this.
"You sure talk a lot. Conviction? I don't have anything grand like that. If I had to say... Yeah, it'll be All Might. I feel like I really want to completely crush this society, where trash like that gets worshiped." Insanity was all there is to his motivation. Shigaraki was the demonstration that there is time where the only thing a man wants from this world is to see it burn. Hero stain took a few steps back, this child was someone that shouldn't be taken lightly.
"My last injury was finally about to finish healing...We don't have a healer in our party, you know. Will you take responsibility for this? So, that's who you are...?" Shigaraki was having one of his moments right now. As his hand was scratching inversely his neck.
"It seems our goals oppose each other. However, we do agree on one thing, to destroy the present." The Hero Killer stipulated the common ground.
"Stop messing around. Go Home. Die. I'm the kind of person you hate the most, right? " After all the build up, it was crystal clear their inability to work together. It was for the best to continue to be separated.
"I was testing your true motives. People show their true colors when they're on the verge of death. It's different, but there is "desire", a warped sprout of conviction living inside you. How will you build? It might not be too late to wait until after I've seen that to dispose of you..."
"You're gonna dispose of me?" It was strange for someone to express themselve about him like that. All those who dare ended up dead.
"I can move..." Kurogiriwas relieved to have his mobility back.
"Kurogiri, I don't want someone this crazy as a party member." Shigaraki expressed his discontent with the intention of actually recruiting the Hero Killer for their cause.
"Tomura Shigaraki, he will be a great asset if he joins us. The negotiations were successful." Kurogiri was insistent to make an alliance of some kind.
"My business is done. Now, return me to Hosu. There are still things I must attend to there." Stain licked his lips, there were many people out there that needed to be purged.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In another part of the city, Uwabami was in the middle of a photoshoot in order to promote her new line of hairspray. The heroine was having her moment in front of the camaras, while off to the side of the studio were the two girls that she had chosen to be her apprentice in this time of internship. Although, both felt like they were only working free as her assistants.
"After this photoshoot, she'll be a guest on a radio show and a magazine interview, right?" The girl with a black spiky ponytail was deep into her role, having Uwabami's agenda in her hands, going through all the different appointments that she had scheduled for the day.
"We're basically just her entourage..." Kendo sigh, the truth was one hard to swallow. But Uwabami was a heroine that took a lot more effort into her side jobs and public image than the standard duties of a hero.
"I think this is a necessary part of being a hero, as well. I'm sure there is something to learn here... I'm sure...Probably" Momo tried to be optimistic about the subject. Although, deep within her heart she was well aware of this fact.
"She doesn't want to accept it..." Kendo was thinking like everyone else.
"They are here, Miss Uwabami..." One of the workers in the studio interrupted the photoshoot to talk to the snake hero.
"Well, let's not keep them waiting, bring them in." The worker nodded at her request and ran as fast as he could to bring the special guests.
"What is happening here?" Kendo asked curiously as she turned to Momo and her agenda on the To-Do-List of Uwabami.
"Is she expecting someone? There is nothing here about meeting with someone." Momo was just as confused. Passing page after page, no one had told them about this.
"Oh, yeah. It was more like a last minute change. A coworker of mine contacted me for a few minutes and asked me for a collaboration. She and her pupil will be joining us for a Photoshoot and the commercial." Uwabami explained calmly, stepping closer to her sidekicks, while taking a little bit of water.
"Let's get on with the show!" Midnight made her presence known as she screamed once she got through the door. "Uwabami!" She greeted her friend once she saw her coming to her.
"Midnight, Darling. Always a pressure to see you!" They both saluted one another with a typical friendly kiss on the cheek. "It's been so long since we had a collaboration, why the sudden change?" The snake hero was no stranger to doing collabs with Midnight, it was strange for her to ask in such a short notice.
"Oh, today is a special case. I'm trying to mentor my pupil. (Y/N) come in..." Midnight noticed that the young hero had not entered with her, as she motioned for him to enter and meet everyone.
"(Y/N)?" Momo asked in surprise. She didn't expect to meet him during the internships. Unconsciously the girl tried to fix her appearance. Her hair and her suit, something that she didn't notice.
"It's incredible. I have never been in a place like this before..." (Y/N) finally made his presence known. He was in awe, it was the first time he stepped in a photo studio.
"Aha." Uwabami responded. This young man has been in the eyes and mouths of everyone since the Sports Festival, he called the attention with his mere presence. Uwabami had tried to turn in an internship for him as well. But knowing all the competence she was going to face for him, she decided better not to. "Oh, Midnight. Your good eye never ceases to amaze me..." She whispered to the dominatrix hero, both of them had a malicious aura surrounding them.
"Uwabami, it's a pleasure to meet a heroine such as you." He made a bow out of respect to the serpentress. Although that gesture was not returned, Uwabami started to inspect (Y/N) from top to bottom. Thinking deeply, walking circles around him. He was awkward because of her behavior, sweat went down his forehead as he felt a little judgemental at the moment.
"Great physics, that white hair, and those features... Boy you are going to raise my ratings through the roof..." She seemed pretty pleased with herself.
"Midnight, why am I here?" He had enough with one Midnight in his life, he didn't need someone just as crazy as her.
"Well, in this age for Heroes, popularity is something to take into account. Dealing with side jobs, fans, interviews, etc can help you." She said as a matter of fact. Giving him a few pats on the back, everything that she has planned for the internship has its purpose. "You don't know how many reputations has been torn to pieces because of this.."
"But I don't even know if I want to be in the spotlight..."
"(Y/N) dear, you already are in the spotlight. Full fledged heroes would kill to have the impact that you had. And you are just a student..." She tried to give him a better insight to his situation, he was someone that unlike many others had great strength and it was her duty to make sure that he had the tools to make the most of them. "Look, you don't have to be in the spotlight if you don't want to, but knowing your way around won't hurt you. All I ask is that you give it a try, okay?"
She rested her hand on his shoulder, he was insecure. And there is nothing wrong with that, but if you have potential, then develop it, later you would be the one to decide what purpose you give it. (Y/N) couldn't resist the lost puppy eyes that she was giving him
"I... I suppose that I can give it a try..." He let out a sigh, once he started to relax he thought that it was not such a bad idea. Besides, these internships were with the purpose to learn from the experience of his mentor, considering that he was still new to all this. It would be stupid for him to deny it.
"That's all I ask." She was taking a hold of his shoulders. The two of them smiled at each other.
"Well, you can't go into the photoshoot wearing that..." Uwabami said all of a sudden, as all the studios began to mobilize. She took a hold of his hero suit trying to emphasize that it was not convenient for the photo shoot.
"Excuse me..." (Y/N) was a little offended by the comment. But it didn't give him time to think much as one of the staff members motioned him to the changing room.
"Get him something to show off..." Uwabami ordered the staff that was taking him to the changing room.
(Y/N) was thrown to a different room that had a couple of white curtains as quite a few staff members got inside as well. There were many sounds of movements and shuffling of clothes, although our hero was trying to express his complaints about their method, it was futile as everyone there was focused on doing their job.
After a few minutes of being moved around by everyone, he was finally pushed out of the curtains. He no longer had his obscure and combat ready outfit, it was changed for a more stylish one. It was a rather simple concept, as it only consisted of a pair of dark jeans complemented by a blue navy bottom shirt. The shirt left nothing to the imagination, it felt like it was almost glued to his body. His hair was also fixed, his white hair was cut into a particular combination of a brush up with tapered sides and a leftover that really complemented his facial features.
"Not bad, not bad at all..." Uwabami was the first one to comment on the appearance of the male student. Kendo was giving an OK sign, with a playful smirk on her face. Midnight was applauding rapidly while jumping like a little girl. She was proud of her prodigy. While Momo was tomato red with steam coming out of her ears.
"How does it feel, (Y/N)?" Midnight asked curiously, she wanted to know if he liked the makeover.
"I can't...breathe!" He was trying to pull the collar of the shirt just a little bit with his hand for him to have some room for air. He was not used to using something like this.
"Well, where is he? Do you have the model that you promised me?" A bald man of a thin complexion got into the room making a scene by his mere presence. This man was wearing really tight purple pants and an open up shirt with a design of matching purple squares. The mostacho on his face gave a rather silly look. It appears to be the photographer of the session, he had a camera hanging from his neck.
"(Y/N), I want you to introduce you to Gaston. He is one of my main photographers, and he agreed to do this favor for me." She stood beside the new man in the room, as she gave introductions. "Gaston meet (Y/N)."
"It's nice to meet you, sir." (Y/N) bow out of respect to the man.
"So, this is the diamond in training that you were talking about." Gaston asked as he inspected the boy up and down. Trying to analyze up to the minimum detail.
"This is the one. I can assure you Gaston that you are in for a real treat!" Midnight was proud of this moment. It was thanks to her that this wound is going to have a rough diamond on their hands now.
"Well, my camera will decide if that is true or not." Gaston said as a matter of fact. There are many good looking people in this world. But in order to work with Gaston, you need something more than just a pretty face. You need the spark, the charisma, something else that will make you stand above all others. "Let's see Young man if you can make those looks work for you!"
Gaston pulled (Y/N) by the shirt to put him in place in front of a white background screen. As he rapidly and professionally prepared his camera for the photoshoot. Gaston got into position.
(Y/N) was just standing there plain and simple, no one even took the time to explain what he was supposed to do or if there were protocols for this sort of thing. Or if it was just to pose to his imagination. And Gaston was feeling this, as he was at the expectancy for the young man to move.
"Please, (Y/N). Give me something to work with!" Gaston tried to sound nice, but it was clear that he was a rather impatient individual.
"I don't know, like this?" He said awkwardly, he made a hercules sort of pose. He was trying to flex his muscles, while that would look okay for a hero to do. In this sort of context, that pose didn't seem as adequate to the outfit nor the situation.
Midnight and Uwabami were behind Gaston, looking a little nervous.
"No, (Y/N). You are too tense, try to lose it up. Get in character, you are the last drop of water in the desert. Take the stage!" Gaston was getting fired up with his little motivation expressions. But it seemed that it got the message across for (Y/N).
"How about this?" This time he chose to do a sitting position, sitting in a chair made of his own darkness. This poses the typical King in the throne, in the middle of a moment of reflection. The seriousness in his stare, the crossed legged position, his looks and the outfit seemed to finally started to get posted together.
"Exactly!" Gaston finally smiled. The white light from the camera was shot again and again. "Another one!"
This next pose was a simple position, he was standing rather straight with his hands in his pocket with his head tilted a little bit to the side. A pose that is normally used to emphasize the outfit more than the model itself. But that proved to be another success for Gaston as his camera was going off multiple times.
"That's right! Keep it up!"
As Gaston was starting to have a field day, he knew that he was in front of a future hero. So he thought that having his quirk involved would be something effective to spice things up. "Give me something with your quirk! Try it!"
"Okay." He affirmed as he had a vague thought for this sort of situation. He let the darkness cover his eyes for starters. Then the darkness started to manifest in some of his veins, mostly on the face and the arms. Giving him a rather dark yet stylish appearance, something that he decided to complement by expanding what looked like feather wings from his back. It was a killer look. Gaston almost got a heart attack...
"Yes! Yes! The Camera loves you (Y/N)!"
"This... is actually kind of fun!" (Y/N) insecurities had completely vanished as he started to take the stage as Gaston had mentioned.
"We created a monster..." Midnight said happily to Uwabami who was nodding her head. As both shared a quick high five as Gaston continued the photoshoot.

The Hero Killer Stein was watching the sundown on one of the buildings of Hosu City, he was on his knees observing the outskirts. The Antihero seemed to be deep in thought, whether it's about his next move, his morals, or meditating about the recent negotiation with the league of villains.
As that happened, behind him a portal of dark purple mist opened, with Tomura Shigaraki stepping out of it. Stein didn't seem to be surprised by his sudden presence, like he was expecting him.
"Hosu city looks nicer than I expected." Shigaraki was the first one to break the silence. He was intrigued as to what Stein had in store for this attack. " So, what are you gonna do?"
"I will reform this city." Stein responded as he had his tongue hanging from his mouth, his vision was still on the city, even this interaction was enough to break his concentration. "In order to do so, I require more victims."
In order to make his message come across all around this society, he needed everyone to pay attention to his voice. If you have the right amount of people and enough importance. He would be a step closer to show what would happen to those unworthy of carrying the title of a hero.
"Is this what you meant the other day when you said you had business to take care of?" For Kurogiri, now everything that was said back at their layer started to make sense.
"I see you're someone who understands." Stein finally got up. Although he still didn't face them.
"Hey, what're you trying to say to me?" Shigaraki understood the motivation behind his actions but not the purpose of the method itself.
"Hero" is a title given only to those who have accomplished great deeds! There are too many... Too many who act like heroes but are really money-worshippers." Stein started his speech with conviction in his voice, as he let the image of the city during the sundown and the wind of the afternoon blow on his persona. "Until the world realizes its mistake, I will continue to appear." He took his Katana out of its sheath and quickly disappeared between the buildings, leaving the other two to their own thoughts.
It was time to get his plan in motion...
"He talks all high and mighty like that, but basically he's trying to start a grassroot movement, huh?" Shigaraki scratched his neck, his nervous tick. His words were not truthful in the slightest. "He is so noble I could cry."
"You can't make fun of him too much. The reality is that in all the cities Stain has appeared, the crime rate has fallen." Kurogiri gave the Hero Killer the credit that he deserves, because it doesn't matter how much villains and heroes alike question his logic, they can't argue with his results. "Some critics attribute this to a rise in heroes' consciousness. This was bashed, though."
"That's wonderful!" He started to raise his voice, but this was just an act to feed his irony. "Heroes are working hard to bring down the cost of food, huh? So the "Hero Killer" is also a "Hero Breeder"!" He extended his hands, dramatizing his whole argument. The message was not getting through for him.
"It's too roundabout." His whole emotion died down as he just crossed his arms. "We just can't agree at a basic level. And he annoys me..." It was more appropriate to say that the last statement was possibly the one that holds the truth. If not, then contacting the Hero Killer would have been a waste of time in the first place.
"Kurogami, bring the Nomus..."
As he was ordered, the mist expanded, letting out one monster after the other. All of them were deformations of poor humans that had the bad luck of crossing paths with the league of villains. Each monster was different from the other, muscular, winged, four eyes. They came in all shapes and sizes, but with something in common. Nothing but destruction was going to be left behind.
"You think you can get away with stabbing me? If I want to kill you, I just will. That's all." Stabbing someone is something that can't be forgotten easily, especially if that person is someone as vengeful, to actually try to destroy a city by setting free a bunch of monsters as a tantrum. "It'll be a wild contest. I'll crush your honor and your pride, sir."
