HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD”: There, men. I think we've lost those slavers.

ARGYLE: That was close, boss.

SOUND EFFECT: CLANG!

WILBERFORCE DASHWOOD: Ouch! My foot! Who would leave a shovel out here, in the middle of the wasteland?

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: Quiet, Will. We've lost them for the moment, but that's no reason to draw attention to ourselves.

ARGYLE: I suggest we go to the cabin, boss. It's not far, and we can get a good meal and rest up in safety.

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: Excellent plan, Argyle. Let's get moving.

WILBERFORCE DASHWOOD: But what about Cassandra?

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: If you mean Penelope Chase, I intend to leave her to work out her own problems.

WILBERFORCE DASHWOOD: Bertie! They'll kill her. I can't leave her there. She set us free. I doubt that the slavers approve of that. (DETERMINED) I'm going to go back for her!

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: No, you're not! Hold him back, Argyle!

ARGYLE: (VOICE IS STRAINED – WILL IS CLEARLY PUTTING UP A FIGHT)Got 'im, boss.

WILBERFORCE DASHWOOD: Please, she'll be killed. And she tried to save us. We can't just leave her to her fate. For God's sake, Bertie, she's my fiancée! Argyle, old man, let me go, would you? You two don't need to help me, I'll save her myself. Let me -

SOUND EFFECT: CLANG!

ARGYLE: Boss! Watch where you're swinging that shovel!

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: My apologies, old chum! Will is out cold?

ARGYLE: Sleeping like a baby. A baby who'll have a heck of a headache when he wakes up.

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: Good. You carry him to the cabin. I'll join you as soon as I can.

ARGYLE: Where're you going, boss?

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: Well, Miss Chase did free us, Argyle, and I like to live my life by a certain code. (DRAMATIC MUSIC PLAYS UNDER DASHWOOD'S WORDS) A code of honour, and justice, of never letting a pal down, of helping those in need, of repaying my debts. In short -

ARGYLE: (CUTS OFF DASHWOOD. DRAMATIC MUSIC CUTS ABRUPTLY) In short, you're going back for the dame. Why knock out Mr. Wilberforce, though? I mean, I admit he was hysterical, but ain't that a bit harsh?

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: No, Argyle. Will has no stomach for adventure. He wouldn't be able to rescue someone from an over-enthusiastic puppy. No, Will would only get in the way, and slow me down. Besides, he's still under Miss Chase's spell. It's too dangerous to let them interact.

ARGYLE: What about me? I could come with you.

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: Someone's got to take care of Will, now that I've hit him.

ARGYLE: So you're going to go alone? To face the slavers?

HERBERT “DARING” DASHWOOD: Yes, I'm going alone. Wish me luck, Argyle!
