You were sitting on the black leather couch in your apartment, watching the news, and when I say watching I mean staring blankly into the tv thinking about all of the weird crazy cases you tried desperately to comprehend and help those involved. You look over at the shared window and see a dark shadow leave the window. You only saw out of the corner of your eye so you wondered if you had really seen it.

The shadow came back in through the window of Matt's apartment and collapses on the floor,and a pool of what looks like blood starts to form.
