Della was on the phone with someone which made Donald just a tad worried but He kept reminding himself to stay out of it. Della then walked out of her room but Donald walked in front of her "Hey sis, where ya going?"Donald asked.

"To meet with a friend"Della said confused why Donald would ask in the first place.

"Della, you haven't even talked to Dewey"Donald said.

"I did talk to Him!"Della defended herself.

"When?"He asked.

"In the hospital when he was unconscious"Della said.

"Well talk to Him when he can actually hear you"Donald said "Or are you afraid?"

"Della Duck isn't afraid of anything!"She said confidently.

"Good!"Donald said.

Della started to walk to Dewey's room but then turned around and back to Donald "Except this".

"Oh brother"Donald sighed.

"Coach me!"Della said "Inspire me"She said.

Donald smiles and puts his hands on His sisters shoulders "Get over it and talk to you're son!"He said then pushed her into The boys room.

"dang it"She mumbled.

"Mom?"Dewey asked looking up from his book.

"Oh hey dew"She said "Whatcha reading?"She asked.

"A book"He answered "What are you doing here?"

"To check on you"Della said.

"Oh.."Dewey paused thinking of something to say, He didn't want it to be awkward but it seemed unavoidable He thought to himself 'Please don't say something stupid, Please Don't say something stupid' But then. "Did uncle Donald talk you into this?"Dewey asked Then he hated himself for saying something completely stupid.

"Yeah he kinda did, but I really do want to talk to you"She said.

"Oh ok go ahead mom"He said.

"Well you risked your life for me"Della mentioned "Why?"She asked.

"Because I had a feeling you were alive and as soon as I heard how amazing you were I had to find you"Dewey said.

Della smiled and gently touched the side of Dewey's face "What did I do to deserve an amazing son like you?"She asked.

He smiled back and hugged Her "I missed you so much mom"He said. A tear rolled down his face.

"Dewey honey, would it be too much to ask to give me second chance?"She asked.

Dewey let Della go, wiped away the tears and He said "Of course not".

She smiled "Thank you Dewey, For everything"She said.

Huey and Louie were walking to their next class when suddenly Huey stopped and looked nervous.

"Huey?"Louie asked "You ok?"

"Get Down!"Huey shouted then grabbed Louie and hid in the janitors closet.

Huey grabbed Louie's beak until he couldn't see whoever He was afraid of and then let go and sighed with relief.

"Ok what's going on?"Louie asked "You can't possibly get bullied on the first day of school, so far we've had all the same classes and I didn't see anyone making fun of you"He explained

Huey sighed "You would've figured it out anyway,Yeah someone is kinda sorta teasing Me,But it's not what you think"

"Huey just tell me!"Louie snapped.

Huey was embarrassed, He struggled to tell His brother what was Going on so he said it really fast"Her name is Jeanette"He said.

Louie paused But after a moment He laughed "Its a girl?"He asked still laughing.

"Will you Please stop?"Huey asked "This isn't funny".

"Yeah it's a little funny"Louie said.

"No it's not!"Huey said.

"ok, ok sorry"Louie said trying not to laugh "Ok what does she do?"He asked.

"She and I are the smartest people in the school"Huey explained "we've compete in many different clubs like debate and chess club, She's the captain of the chess club, So she always seems try to beat me at everything and for some reason feels the need to call names and occasionally punch me"He said "it's so annoying!"

"Awe, my brother has his first girlfriend"Louie said.

"What?"Huey asked "She's not my girlfriend, I hate her!"

"Then why are you hiding in the closet?"He asked.

"To get away from her!"Huey explained.

"Look hue, girls only pick on guys they like, it's woman logic"He said.

"that makes no sense"Huey said.

"Trust me Huey girls are complicated"He said.

Huey stopped and looked at his watch, Oh no we're going to be late!"Huey said.

"Who still owns a watch?"Louie asked.

"Come on!"Huey grabbed Louie and ran to their class.

Della left to meet with someone, She didn't say who but Dewey trusted Her. There was no reason not to. He was thinking about what to do next when he heard the door open.

"Hiya Dewey!"Webby shouted.

"Oh hey webby"Dewey greeted Her.

"Can we talk about...Something?"She asked.

"Of course"He said "What's going on?"

"Well it's just that"She paused for a second "Now that Dellas back, will we still hang out?"She asked.

"What do you mean webby?"He asked.

"Well there's no more mysteries to solve so you'll probably start thinking of me as the annoying little sister you can't get rid of like Louie"she said "I don't want that"She said.

"Webby I didn't start hanging out with you because I wanted to find Della, I think your really cool and smart and pretty...nice"He said trying to not make it weird "And just because one mystery is solved doesn't mean we can't find more, in every good book there's another chapter right?"He asked.

Webby was so happy to hear him say that she thought about what adventures they could go on next "Oh I know we can find out the mystery of dougan your cousin or weather or not Gladstone was adopted and how his parents died, or we can see if Kildare is really that crazy, We can-"

"Those all sound like great ideas webby"Dewey said "I look forward to seeing what happens next"He said.

She smiled brightly "me too!".

Della met at the diner downtown, She saw her ex boyfriend Henry and waved, He waved back and she walked toward Him

"Thanks for meeting with me"Della said.

Henry smiled "Della you're just as beautiful as you did when you left"He said.

"Awe thank you"She smiled then sat down at the table "You changed a lot"She said.

"Is that a good thing?"He asked.

"Yah it is, Henry I missed you"She said.

"Della, before you say anything I have to tell you that I moved on"He said.

"What do you mean?"She asked.

"I re married"He explained.

"You mean you just married because you broke up with me before we actually walked down the isle"She said angrily.

"Della remember that you've been gone for  ten years"He said.

"I know but it only felt like a couple days"She said.

"I know"He said.

"So you married?"She asked.

"Yeah, we're really happy we even have a daughter named Emily"He said, He pulled out His wallet and showed Della a picture of His new family "She's a great kid"He said

Della was so mad at Henry and didn't even look at the picture "You had three great kids here"She said "Donald never moved"

"I know Della, but I couldn't face them knowing they'd remind me of the mistakes I made with you"He said

"We had three sons"She said "Were they mistakes?"

"Of course not!"He snapped.

"Henry they're great kids and you abandoned them!"She yelled.

"And what did you do?"He asked.

"I didn't have a choice!"She yelled back.

"Della I couldn't be their father knowing that they'd be just like the amazing woman I lost!"He yelled.

"That's not true"Della said "you weren't afraid they'd be like me, you were afraid to be their father because you only care about yourself!"She said.

"Della I changed, im not the man I use to be!"He said.

"I highly doubt that"She said then left the diner and slammed the door.

At the end of the day Huey and Louie were on their way home. Huey had a black eye as they walked to the gate Louie clarified the plan "Remember let me explain the eye to uncle Donald"Louie said. They opened the gates and the boys walked in

"Hi boys do you want some-"Huey what happened?"Donald asked.

"Let's say dodge ball isn't Huey's best sport"Louie said and they rushed to the bedroom.

"Dewey, guess what happened at school"Louie said laughing.

"What?"Dewey asked.

"Louie don't!"Huey shouted all embarrassed.

"Sorry but we promised, no more secrets"Louie said "Ok so See Huey's eye?"He asked.

"Yeah, what happened?"Dewey asked.

"A girl did that"He said laughing. Huey's face was red as Dewey tried so hard not to laugh "Oh poor Huey"He said laughing "She likes you, you know".

"She does not!"Huey shouted.

"it's a little obvious Hue"Dewey said.

"You too?"He asked.

"Sorry but fact is fact as you'd say"Louie said.

"Look even if she did like me, which she doesn't, I don't like her so it doesn't matter anyway"He said.

"Sure keep telling yourself that hue"Louie said as Dewey started to laugh.

Della was walking back home in tears thinking about Henry and what She should do next, Does she try to date again? Does she try to get a job? Or does she stay home? The decision was hard should she forgive Henry, even after all he's done? Why did she want to talk to him anyways? She didn't know the answer to it but if he can move on, so can she,  she's had a lot to think about, Dewey forgave her after all. Della at the corner of her eye she saw a poster for the duckburg 90th anniversary ball She thought maybe this is a good way to relax and worry about something else for a change.
