Riley's POV

The sun shines brightly through the window. I squeeze my eyes shut to try and block out the light. I turn away from the window towards where Marc is laying. I open my eyes and he is not in bed. I sit up to look for him and he walks in with a bed tray with breakfast, sits it on my lap and clubs in bed beside me.

We are soon ready and head downstairs and find Cassandra in the kitchen.

"How is my patient doing this morning?" Asks Dr. Smith.

"Doing okay, since I got some pain meds."

"Good, just need to check on your incisions."

He checks Alex out and says everything is doing well. He then says if he keeps doing well he should be able to go home in a couple days. We spend a few more hours visiting and then we all leave to let him rest.
