I entered this book in the dreamcatcher awards here on wattpad and they chose the top winners from my category(the categories were different kpop groups such as BTS, EXO, Got7, ect and obviously I was in the bts category) and guess what? I WAS ONE OF THE WINNERS

Also so there is no confusion, this first part takes place during high school, so it's no longer middle school Taehyung. And the part where Jin mentions his mom, that was before he came out to his parents.

"Hyung!" Jin heard someone shouting at the door. He quickly opened it to reveal a sobbing Taehyung drenched in rain.

"Taehyung! You're going to get sick. Come in and I'll get you some dry clothes. I'll make you a delicious, but healthy bowl of soup, so that you won't get sick. My mom taught me how to make it."

Taehyung shook his head and cried some more. That was when Jin noticed the younger's tears. "Are you crying?" He asked.

"Hyung, I-I told my parents and now they're mad at m-me."

"What?" Jin asked confused. "What are you talking about, Taehyung? What did you tell your parents?"

"I-I told them a-about a person that I-I care about. "

"Why would they get mad about you caring for someone?"

"They're mad be-because I told them that I think I l-love that person, but I'm scared. I don't want to love them."

"Tae," Jin softly spoke as he reached out to hug the younger. "You don't have to be afraid, even if your parents don't accept it. It's okay to love someone."

"No!" Taehyung cried. "It's not okay to love them."

"Why not?"

"Because I can't love a guy." Taehyung broke down into more tears and Jin hugged the younger tighter.

Jungkook smiled to himself like an idiot as he laid in bed, thinking about his shared kiss with Taehyung.

He couldn't believe that Taehyung had basically asked for him to kiss him. He thought he was hearing things, but once he saw Taehyung looking at his lips, he knew he wasn't.

The moment Jungkook's lips came in contact with Taehyung's, the older instantly kissed back. Jungkook could of sworn he felt Taehyung lightly smiling into the kiss.

It was so soft and gentle as if Jungkook was afraid that Taehyung would suddenly pull away at any moment.

Jungkook giggled as he touched his lips. I kissed Taehyung.

Meanwhile, Taehyung laid in bed cuddling Hoseok. Yeontan was sleeping on the ground beside the bed.

Ever since Taehyung kissed Jungkook for the first time, he started to get flashbacks from his childhood and high school years, but they weren't happy memories. He was also starting to fear the dark once again after slowly conquering his fear.

Jungkook helped him conquer it without realizing it, but he also brought that fear back after their kiss.

Taehyung touched his lips as he remembered the way Jungkook kissed him, so gentle. He didn't giggle.

He was starting to regret it. 

That morning Taehyung got up early to talk to Jin. Jin was the only person who knew about Taehyung's secret. He had hinted his secret to Hoseok a few days before and he wasn't if Hoseok caught on.

"Hyung," Taehyung called out as he entered the kitchen.

"Hey, Tae," Jin looked up to look at the younger before going back to focus on making breakfast.

"I need to talk to you."

"Go ahead, I'm listening." Jin said as he looked up to look at Taehyung once again to reassure the younger before going back to making breakfast.

Taehyung took a deep breath before he began. "Remember a long time ago when I broke down in your arms and cried about how scared I was of loving someone?"

Jin paused for a moment as he recalled the memory. "Yeah, I remember."

"I'm afraid to love that same person again." Taehyung quietly spoke, but Jin was still able to hear it over the loud sizzling of the bacon cooking in the pan. He stopped cooking and turned off the stove before removing his apron.

He embraced the younger in a tight hug as Taehyung began to break down in tears once again like he had a few years ago.

"It's okay, Tae." Jin softly spoke while stroking the younger's back. "It's okay to love someone."

Taehyung broke down into more tears as he remembered Jin telling him those exact same words and hearing the older say it again after a few years later, made his heart ache even more.

Jungkook felt tension between him and Taehyung that morning and he assumed it was because of the kiss.

Everytime Jungkook would try to approach the older, Taehyung would busy himself with anything he could.

Did he regret the kiss? Jungkook wondered as he stared out the window and saw Taehyung playing with Yeontan.

He decided to take another attempt and try to talk to the older. Upon hearing the door open, Taehyung expected it to be one the hyungs coming to ask him something.

"Hey hyung, I was-" Taehyung paused as he turned to who he thought was one of the hyungs, was actually Jungkook.

"Oh, hey." Taehyung awkwardly greeted as he turned his attention back to Yeontan.

"Taehyung," Jungkook softly spoke. "Did you..um... is everything okay?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't it?" Taehyung said without looking at the younger.

"It's just, the kiss last night. You-"

"Let's not talk about it." Taehyung interrupted.

"Did you not like it?" Jungkook frowned.

"No."

"Then let me try again."

Taehyung's breath hitched as he felt Jungkook kissing him once again. He slowly kissed back, secretly liking the way Jungkook's lips felt moving against his.

"We shouldn't be doing this." Taehyung mumbled in between the kiss.

"Doing what?" Jungkook asked between kisses.

"K-kissing." Taehyung stuttered as he felt Jungkook bit his bottom lip. He let out a soft moan.

"What's wrong with kissing?" Jungkook asked as he bit Taehyung's bottom lip once again.

"T-the rules." Taehyung moaned out.

"Screw the rules."

And for a moment, Taehyung almost, almost agreed with Jungkook, but his not so happy memories flashed through his head and he quickly pulled away. "Let's not k-kiss anymore." Taehyung said he rushed back inside. He ran to kitchen where he found Jin reading a cook book about desserts.

"Taehyung?" Jin questioned as he set his book down and stood up to embrace the younger.

"Hyung, I can't love Jungkook." Taehyung said as he broke down in tears for the second time that day.

Jin gently stroke the younger's back. "It's okay Tae." He reassured. "You don't have to be afraid of loving someone. It's okay to love Jungkook."

Taehyung cried even more and he hugged his hyung tighter while Jin gently stroke his back in an attempt to calm the younger down.

Oh I forgot to mention, but I saw my book at the store 💀
