"What do you mean Taehyung and Jungkook aren't coming over for dinner?! I need to make sure my two youngest children are eating!" Jin whined as he was cutting some carrots. "I was going to give Jungkook some extra carrots in his food since I know he loves to eat them."

"According to Taehyung, they have plans." Jimin said as he passed Jin another carrot.

Jin stopped cutting and looked at Jimin in confusion. "They have plans?"

Jimin nodded. "Yeah, I found it hard to believe too, but they did say that they bonded. Jungkook seemed a little weird at first, but he didn't mind when Taehyung put his arm around him, so I let it go."

Jin raised an eyebrow. "Yoongi saw and heard this too?"

Jimin nodded once again.

Jin sighed. He felt conflicted. "It just feels weird for them to hanging out together when just yesterday night, they were arguing about who was more handsome."

"I guess they finally realized that they are both equally handsome." Jimin said.

"Maybe." Jin made a face.

His tone and facial expression didn't go unnoticed by Jimin, but he decided not to question it.

He's probably just worried about them.

But what Jimin didn't know was that Taehyung had a secret and Jin was the only one that knew.

"Okay first things first, if we are going to keep doing stuff like last night then we need to set a boundary list."

Taehyung nodded in agreement. He spotted an blank sheet of paper on his coffee table and reached for it. Then he pulled out a pen from his pocket. He wrote the word 'boundary' at the top and underlined it. Taehyung then raised his head after he was done writing to looked at Jungkook who raised an eyebrow at him.

"You carry a pen in your pocket?"

"Don't judge me." Taehyung defended himself. "You must always be prepared. You may never know when you'll be needing to write down something important."

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Okay, first thing on the list that you need to write down is consent."

Taehyung nodded and began to write while Jungkook continued to talk. "When people do stuff like this, they forget about the most important thing. Consent must always be given. Just because it is given the first time doesn't mean it is automatically given the second time or the other times that follow."

Taehyung finished writing and looked up to met Jungkook's eyes who were watching him. Then in a low voice, Taehyung said, "I find consent..sexy."

Jungkook's cheeks flushed pink and he immediately avoided Taehyung's eyes. "Thank you for not pushing me last night." He said in a low voice. "I know you wanted to go further, so maybe we can do that soon."

Jungkook felt Taehyung's body shift beside him and he felt his chin being lifted up to meet Taehyung's eyes. "If you are not ready to go further, then we won't. We can start off slow. Consent is number one on our boundary list for a reason."

Jungkook nodded. "Thank you."

Then, Something very unexpected happened to Jungkook.

Taehyung smiled.

Jungkook hadn't seen Taehyung smile at him in a while. The last time he did was when they were kids.

Jungkook's memories started flooded back to when him and Taehyung were in elementary school.

*Flashback*

It was in the third grade when Taehyung had moved and settled in at Jungkook's school. It also happened to be the same school that Hoseok attended, except he was in the fourth grade.

On a Monday morning, Jungkook's teacher introduced a new student named Kim Taehyung. During recess everybody wanted to play with the new boy, including Jungkook.

Jungkook and Taehyung hit it off well that year and even became best friends all through the rest of elementary school until middle school. That was when the Taehyung that Jungkook knew changed.

"Taehyungie!" Jungkook screamed as he ran to go hug his best friend. He hadn't seen him all summer.

Taehyung stopped talking with the group of boys he was talking to and turned to look at the face of the familiar voice. He was welcomed in a bone crushing hug and had to push Jungkook away, so that he could breath.

"Tae! I missed you! I was so bored this summer that I counted down the days until school started, so that I could see you again."

Taehyung was about to tell Jungkook to leave and that they'll talk later, but one of the boys who he was talking to was already asking about his best friend. "Who's that?"

"Is that your boyfriend?" Another boy asked. "Because I never seen two guys hug. It's gay."

"What's wrong with being gay?" Taehyung asked.

"It's disturbing." The last boy said. "You didn't even deny him being your boyfriend. Are you sure that you're into girls?"

Jungkook simply smiled after every question and comment that was fired at Taehyung. He didn't have a problem against two guys hugging. He also didn't have a problem if Taehyung was gay.

"What?" Taehyung asked. "Jungkook isn't my boyfriend. He's just an old friend from elementary school. I'm not into guys."

"Mhm," One of the boys didn't look convinced as he looked back and forth between Taehyung and Jungkook. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am sure." Taehyung said. "And besides what's wrong with hugging a guy?"

One of the other boys chuckled and placed his hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "Taehyung, this is middle school. Stuff that happens in middle school, will follow you to high school, so if you continue to let that other guy-" He gestured at Jungkook. "-to hug you, other people might start to question your sexuality. Your friends will stop talking to you and girls won't even look at you. Doesn't that scare you?"

No, not in the slightest bit did it scare Taehyung, but what did scare him were his parents. If his friends started to question his sexuality then they would tell their parents and their parents wouldn't end up telling his parents.

Taehyung didn't want that, so instead he nodded and replied, "You're right," before he walked away with the group of boys.

Jungkook stood standing in the same spot. The only thing that he could think was, "Why didn't Tae hug me back?"

After that day, Taehyung didn't dare speak to or get close to Jungkook. He didn't even smile back whenever Jungkook smiled at him in the hallways.

*Flashback ended*

Jungkook smiled at the thought of Taehyung finally smiling at him for the first time in years. He finally smiled at me.

HE. FINALLY. SMILED. AT. ME.

"You okay Jungkook?" Taehyung asked breaking him out of his thoughts. He sounded kinda worried. "You zoned out for a moment. Were you thinking of something?"

"Yeah, but it's not important. I'm fine though." Jungkook continued to smile.

Taehyung couldn't help himself, but smile as well. Jungkook's smile was contagious.

"Bunny."

"Excuse me?"

"When you smile, you look like a bunny."

"I know," Jungkook frowned. "Back in middle school, kids used to call me bunny because of my smile and they didn't even mean it in a good way."

"Forget about what the kids said back in middle school. I think your smile is cute."

Jungkook only half smiled this time. It's easy for you to forget about things, like our broken friendship.

"Come on, let's continue with the list." Taehyung said.

Jungkook nodded and listed another thing that he thought was important. Taehyung also thought of a few things that he thought that should be added.

"Let's go over the list one more time." Jungkook said once they were done.

Taehyung began to read the list out loud. "Number one, consent is needed and must be given every time. Number two, we keep this between us and tell no one. Number three, we are free to end things if we want to start a relationship with someone else or if we are seeing someone. Number four, there will be no kissing."

Jungkook wasn't really sure why Taehyung thought of adding that fourth thing, but he let it go. He didn't have a desire to kiss Taehyung.

"Do you think there's something else we should add?" Jungkook asked he reread the list in his head.

Taehyung pondered for a few moments as he also reread the list in his head.

What if we catch feelings?

"Let's another thing to the list." He said. "It'll be a reminder."

"Okay, what is it?" Jungkook asked.

"Number five, we don't catch feelings."
