"Don't you have any work?" Jade asks as she watches Dante glaring at her.

"This is work too"

"Why send your mate here if you thought she could not take it?" she asks.

"It's not that just making sure you do not teach her something that won't sit well with the council" he warns.

"Like what? Black magic?" she teases.

"You do know, you knowing magic will stir some conversation none of us are ready for" he states and she sighs.

"Relax, just because I know magic does not mean I will teach it to anyone"

"About Jean's progress" he asks.

"Your mate is not impressive but she has something inside of her a need a want to prove that she can be impressive, it will take time but she has potential" Jade states and Dante nods his head.

"I will be taking Jean back to Ad's pack tomorrow" Dante informs.

"Do bring her around if you can" Jade smiles before Dante leaves the room to go find his mate.

Jean groans in annoyance as she could not control the fog as she should, even if she knows the key to them, she cannot put a control on it.

"You will be heading home tomorrow, maybe give it a rest?" Jasper's voice makes her blink as the fog disappears when he comes in view.

"Jas" she smiles at the man who smiles back.

"Ever since you came here, you have just practiced Jean, you have not seen the beauty of our pack" he points making her sigh.

"I don't have time to enjoy beauties"

"Why?" he asks and she frowns.

"What?"

"Why don't you have time to enjoy, Jean. It's not as if you are going on a war unless the war is within you and trust me you can never win it over like this" he points and she blinks staring at him.

"I just want to be able to control my powers and..."

"What's your age? Sixteen, yeah? What's the hurry? You have a family that loves you, pack that protects you, you even found a mate, I think you have figured out half your life already that even men my age cannot...

As for power, don't run behind it, let it come towards you and while doing so enjoy what's around you" he points and the sword in Jean's hand disappears.

"If you are not dead tired, come on" Jasper asks and she follows.

"Jean?" Dante calls as he looks inside of her room before he walks towards the training area to find it empty.

"Where did my baby go?" he frowns before he hears the giggles.

"What the fuck?" he grumbles as he makes his way towards the voice to find her kneeling on the grass playing with little puppies.

"Aww" she laughs as the little pups licks her face and then few of them try to tackle her down while some bites her pant.

"Check this one" Jasper grins as he brings in a baby goat who jumps and tries to tackle the pup.

"They are so cute" Jean laughs as she stares at Jasper who puts his hand out for her to grab it.

"Where to?" she asks.

"To his mate will be a better option" Dante's voice makes both of them turn to watch him stalk in.

"Dante?" Jean frowns before she gasps when he raises his hand and breaks her hold on Jasper's hand.

"I thought you were practicing" he glares at Jasper.

"I was but..."

"Well what kind of practice needs you to grab a male's hand? I think I like it better when you get punched or kicked" he grumbles.

"That's mean" Jasper chuckles before he shuts his mouth as Dante glares at him.

"Mean would be the fact that Jade has yet to inform the council about her rogue mate, mean would be meaner if the said council ban that said rogue" Dante threatens.

"Whoa, whoa, okay, okay, Jas see you tomorrow, Dante come on" Jean breaks in as she pushes her mate out.

"Jas?" Dante shouts as he eyes his mate.

"Come on" Jean groans as she pulls him away while Jasper grins waving his hand.

"Is he mocking me?" Dante asks as the door to the barn shuts.

"You gave him nickname" Dante accuses.

"I did not, everyone calls him Jas"

"Well, you never called me by any other name" he grumbles.

"Because I don't want to"

"Why not? You seem you be fine calling Adrian as my Alpha, Jasper as Jas, Romano as Rom so why can I not have a nickname?" he fights making her groan.

"Don't be stupid"

"See, what names do I get instead? Perv, perverted and a certified one and now stupid?" he demands.

"Well of course, Dan does not suit you until you want me to start calling you Tea" she rolls her eyes.

"Young lady, you do not get to roll your eyes and walk away" he snaps.

"I think I found a perfect name, old man, how about that?" she asks and he growls.

"Give me a good nick name"

"How about you disappear?" she asks before she squeals as he at once picks her up and starts to fly.

"Dante, put me down"

"Sure" he grumbles as he drops her and Jean screams while she falls down from the sky but before she could hit the ground Dante flies in to grab her.

"You asshole" Jean shouts as she clings onto Dante as they fly around before Dante drops her to her room so she can rest as they were heading home early in the morning.

"Brian" Jean squeals as she jumps out of the car before running and jumping in Brain's arm who twirls her around.

"Hey Jean, missed you girl" he grins as he puts her down.

"I missed you too, I have so many things to tell you" she gushes.

"I am all yours" he grins as they walk towards her home.

"Ana" Jean squeals as she hugs the woman before she gets tackled by her brother and sister.

"So many things to say? I am all yours?" Dante glares at Brian as he moves to stand next to Brain who blinks before he nods at Dante.

"Mr. Dante..."

"That will be your leader, your fate destroyer" Dante glares at the boy who gulps.

"Ignore him, come" Jean grabs Brian's arm pulling him in the house and Dante narrows his eyes as he glares at his own arm.

"What's wrong with my arm?" he asks before he finds Henry glaring at him.

"Don't come here again" Henry shouts.

"What?" he asks.

"You took my sister away and she does not have time to be with us because of you" Henry shouts before he runs in the house.

"Little shit" Dante grumbles as he walks with Jean's bag inside the house.

"Henry has been feeling down after Jean went for the training, he did not get to even see her after her warrior's training" Ana informs.

"How long will the guy be in there?" Dante asks as he eyes the way to Jean's room.

"He is the first friend, she made in a long time" Ana replies as she passes him a cup.

"Well would have been better if it was a she"

"Brain is a good boy"

"Only dogs are the good ones" Dante sighs.

"So, how was her time in another pack?" she asks Dante turns to stare at Ana.

"I don't know about her but I had a good time" he grins and she frowns.

"Hope the good times are not something else" Ana warns making him laugh.

"Chill, Jean don't even think twice before putting me in my place" he informs and she laughs.

"Jean has always been a level headed girl, not someone you can win from flattery"

"I know" Dante nods as they sit in silence sipping their coffee.

"Oh, you are still here" Jean blinks to find Dante sitting with Ana.

"Oh, glad you realized I am alive" Dante teases.

"Don't be ridiculous"

"Of course not, how can I when my own mate forgets about me as soon as she sees some other males" he points making her turn and raise a brow at him.

"As if you will let me forget about you" she rolls her eyes.

"Okay then, see you later" Dante sighs as he stands up.

"You are leaving?" Jean asks as she turns to face him.

"Are you asking me to stay?" he raises a brow and she shakes her head no.

"Bye" he smiles and she nods waving her hand as he walks out of the house.

"Sometimes it's okay to be the one to give in first" Ana comments as she gathers the cups and Jean pretends, she did not hear as she grabs a bottle of water and makes her way back to her room.

Jean frowns as she stands at her school ground while all other kids stare at her and the other special kids.

"All the special kids are to be reporting to council and will no longer be associating with other until we say so" one of the council member announces.

"But why? We are happy here" one of the special kids points.

"It's not about happiness, your kind is dangerous to others, we have yet to figure out about your powers and we all saw how Jean single handedly killed few of the participants which is something we will not unsee and as the leader of our kind we have decided no special kids shall interact with others until we are sure"

"What nonsense is that? Did you not see how I was being chased and attacked first!" Jean defends herself.

"Things did no have to go that far, Jean and we said nothing because you are Dante's mate who had taken full responsibility of your acts but that does not mean we can let this go"

"No one has to take any responsibility of me, those boys attacked me and it was an act of self-defense"

"It was a mere competition and maybe you read too much into it, they could have just chased to scare you"

"Do not sugar coat their acts" Jean warns.

"Look at you, no have no regrets on killing them nor do you have any sense of respect towards us" one of the council member points and Jean narrows her eyes.

"None of us are going anywhere, we chose to be in Adrian's pack and we are staying here" she finalizes before the special kids goes to stand beside her.

"You are a bully" Gio shouts as he holds Jean's hand.

"You are no less, Giovanni, you too are dangerous if not controlled on time"

"Yeah, then fear me" Gio snaps.

"You think because you have something special in your blood you can talk to me like that?" one of council's goon roars as he goes to attack but stops when Jean pulls out her sword and points it at him.

"Step away" she warns making him chuckle.

"A little blade may scare other but will never stop me" the man grins as he grabs her wrist and twists it.

Jean screams in pain before she feels a kick on her stomach as she goes flying.

"You..." Gio gasps as he tries to help Jean but he gets hit.

The kids around the ground scream as vampires fills in surrounding them as they are grabbed by someone holding them.

"Do not touch them" Jean coughs as she stands up with shaky legs.

"Dante should have taught you a lesson but guess he lacked so let me fill in" he smirks as the man runs in full speed to hit Jean but freezes as the fog surrounds them and the fog takes a shape of its own grabbing the man's hand stopping him.

"What is going on?" someone shout as they see nothing.

"Let them go" Jean voices as she attacks the vampires getting hold of the kids, she helps them to get away.

"Jean" Henry screams for help so she makes her way towards her brother only to get attacked from behind.

Brian slams the door open as he breaths heavily staring at Adrian before explaining what was happening on the school grounds.

"Hurry" he requests as Adrian commands his men to reach the school.

None of them can see anything as the whole ground is covered in deep fog, so Adrian asks his men to be careful and reach the kids to gather them in a safe area as he looks for Jean.

"Jean" he shouts the name as he tries to look through the fog.

"Jean, put this thing out now" Adrian calls only to stop and move just as a body comes out flying.

"What the hell?" Adrian growls as he stares at the man.

"She is uncontrollable" the council member finalizes.

"And who the fuck gave you the right to be on my land?" Adrian growls at the man.

"I was here on council duty"

"And your duty has fucked my peace, what the fuck did you say to rile her up?" Adrian asks as he grabs the man's shirt.

"We council has decided that the special kids will stay under our supervision" he explains and Adrian narrows his eyes.

"Where the fuck is Dante?" Adrian asks before he gets his answer as a big wind gush and they all look above to find Dante flying.

Flapping his wings Dante tries to move the fog away as he flies in to land on his feet, he looks around before he starts to move and the fog slowly move away as if not wanting to touch him. He finds Jean fighting one of the vampires, so he heads that way.

Grabbing the vampire by the back of his neck, Dante throws the body away as he eyes his mate who attacks him instead.

"Jean" he calls as he jumps away from the sword, she pushes his way.

"You do not get to decide for me, for any of us" Jean shouts as she swings the blade at him.

So, he grabs the blade and pulls it away from her hand easily.

"Calm down" he asks but she starts to throw punches at him.

"And you need to stop interfering in our lives"

"It's a decision made for all of you" he points as he grabs her wrist but she throws a kick making him hiss as he lets her go.

"Finish him" Gio's roar makes Dante turn as he sees the kids making their way towards him.

"What the..." he senses Jean's punch before it slams on his jaw making him stumble.

"Enough" Dante roars at all of them and the kids blink as they all stand still while Jean blinks pausing another punch mid-air.

"You are correct, enough. We are done playing fools and doing as all of you ask" Jean states and Dante glares at her.

"This is council's decision and each of you will follow"

"Well before this the council has decided we will be staying in here, in this pack and just when we were getting comfortable you take it away"

"You will not move out of this pack but council will be the one who will give you the trainings required" Dante argues.

"For once we were feeling normal, Dante. Going to school, making friends and you are taking it away. We do not want the title special kids when we are not"

"This is for the best"

"Of who?" she asks.

"Jean, you still have friends, you can always make more friends"

"Not after today, just look around, none of them will ever even talk to us" Jean points throwing her arms around towards the kids who were huddled away from them.

"None of them even bothered to come help us" Jean whispers.

"This is all your doing" the council member interrupts.

"Not now" Dante warns.

"She was the one who showcased her power first without thinking correctly, they all need discipline one they will never get here" he finalizes.

"Not now" Dante points before he sighs and turns towards Jean.

"Baby"

"Do not ever call me that again, to you we are nothing but deadly weapons who can blast at any given point and you are scared" Jean snaps at Dante.

"Listen"

"No, you listen, you do not get to play good boy, bad boy, Dante and thanks for today, for showing your real self while I thought you were supportive of me, all this time you were just keeping an eye on me, right? Well, good luck with that as that is all you will ever get to do, keep looking at me while you sit at your throne...

I wanted you to stand beside me as my mate not as the leader of the council, so do whatever you have been doing, controlling our life as none of us has any choice to begin with" Jean states as she walks past him.

"This is not what..."

"I am not going anywhere; you will have to talk to my dad and Eri" Gio warns as he runs away from the ground while the other follow.
