"Jean" Rom shouts as he finds the girl sitting at the top of the mountain where they were supposed to be at.

"Where is everyone?" she asks as she finds Rom and Adrian together.

"Are you alright?" he asks and she nods before he grabs both her hands and check her over.

"I am fine"

"We caught few of the boys trying to cheat their way up here, some of the boys caught them and alerted us, we were worried for you when no one knew where you were...

When did you arrive here?" Rom asks.

"I was here for a while; I saw those boys causing trouble so ran away" she states.

"Okay, well this task has been nulled so let's go"

"What?" she frowns.

"We will come up with..."

"But I reached here first and I have the same number of stones in my bag that I carried" she points.

"Yes, but it's not fair when..."

"It's not fair to me too, Rom" she argues and Rom sighs as he glances at Adrian.

"We will consider this at the finale for now we are going back" Adrian states and Jean sighs before they all make their way down.

"You okay, kiddo?" Warren asks as Jean makes her way towards the tent.

"Alive" she mumbles walking in making him grin.

Laying on the sleeping mat, Jean takes a deep breath as she closes her eyes trying to calm her thoughts after she had the encounter with Aura.

"The past, present and future?" Jean asks in surprise.

"I stand here because of a past; you stand here as a present and the one who will revive this place is the future connected with both of us" Aura smiles.

"I don't understand" Jean asks.

"This place once was a castle owned by the queen herself and because of things this place stays hidden and in ruins. What you will encounter here is a past, playing itself on its own a past I had a hand in making this place what it is"

"Then how is it related to me?" Jean frowns as they walk together and Jean sees few scenes on going in the place.

"Because you will help correct the wrong doings of the past. The motions have been set, the children you will have with my son will create a path for future in their own way, the laughter and joy will return to these walls...

So, I request you to not hold yourself back in anyways, let the emotions you have for my son flow out, enjoy the life Jean, live the moment, you don't have to hold back and prove anything" Aura caresses the girl's cheek making her sigh.

"I sense your pain but I will never know it's depth, it's up to you to decide whether you want to stay in the pain or get out of it. For now, these walls have welcomed you, embrace it" Aura smiles before she disappears in thin air leaving Jean all alone.

"More" Adrian shouts at the boy as Jean sits out of the ring watching the fight on going.

She stares in shock when Adrian grabs the boy's hand and swings it back, all of them wince in pain as they hear the crack of the bone before the boy screams in pain.

"You think your enemy will stop at just this? If you cannot over power me when I am in a human form, you really think you can put a dent when I am in my wolf form, where its all-animalistic instinct" Adrian points before he asks the five boys surrounding Adrian to attack at once but all of them fail.

"Lack of team work" Adrian scolds before he eyes each of them around.

"I want a vampire and a werewolf in the ring" Adrian calls as he steps out of the ring, he pauses when no one steps up.

"Am I getting no" he demands before few of them jumps to take the stage.

"Jean" Adrian calls making her jump as he signals her to follow him.

"No, not my baby" Dante groans as he clings onto Ryan one of the council members.

"Dante" the man sighs and Dante goes to jump off the tree they were sitting on but Ryan holds him back.

"I do not want to get attacked by werewolves, Dante. You said this was important" Ryan points.

"Can you not see, this is important! He is going to beat my mate up; do you think he will take all of his anger out of her because of me?" Dante asks.

"Maybe" Ryan shrugs his shoulder and Dante pretends to faint.

"Whoa, okay, chill Dante, that's not Adrian's way" Ryan holds the guy.

"I never knew my sins were so high that having an underage mate would not be enough. What if, what if he becomes her best friend, I will die if even Jean defends him"

"Even Jean?" Ryan frowns.

"He already has Red all wrapped around his fingers, she can never hear anything bad about Ad. And I want someone to see how evil Adrian is" Dante sniffs.

"If you dragged me here to be dramatic then I shall take my leave"

"No, don't go, I need a shoulder to cry on"

"Hold on to the tree branch" Ryan suggests as he jumps off the tree.

"Everyone leaves" Dante sighs as he eyes where his mate was but when he does not find her, he panics.

"Is that bastard educating her against me?" he grumbles as he jumps off the tree.

"Choose a weapon" Adrian asks Jean who stares at the lined-up weapon before she steps to choose a sword.

"Why am I getting a weapon?" she asks Adrian.

"Because I need to know what your capabilities and limits are, those boys some are vampires and some are werewolves, while you? You have not shifted nor shown any sign of being a vampire so" he states and Jean nods before she clutches the sword.

"Swing it twice from up to down, left right and right left" he asks before he walks to where the fight was on going in the ring.

"How does it feel like getting treated specially by the Alpha for being his best friend's mate?" someone comments before Jean finds the boy make his way to where she was and grabs a sword himself.

"I don't think that is what he is doing" she points before nodding around to find few of the kids already practicing with their chosen weapon.

"Defense" the boy shouts before he swings the sword at her and she stumbles back.

"What? The mate of Dante not familiar with a weapon?" he smirks and Jean narrows her eyes as she drops the sword before jumping away as the boy keeps swinging the sword and attacking her.

"Fight back, Jean, don't prove you got here by sucking your mate's dick" the boy snarls as they gain some attention.

Jean rolls away from the attacker as he keeps attacking her with the sword, she growls when he does not stop before she stands and then move swiftly behind him as she kicks the back of his leg making him drop down.

Grabbing the back of his neck she uses her force to shove his face down on the ground as she bangs her knee on his back, twisting his arm around making him groan in pain and surprise.

"Apologize" she growls but the boy just struggles in her hold trying to throw her off his body.

"Apologize first" she puts the pressure in his back with her knee.

"Never"

"Okay" Jean states casually as she grips his hair and pulls his head back.

"Bitch" he breathes.

"Cannot hear you" she grumbles.

"Fuck you"

"Louder for the people at the back" Dante demands and Jean stiffens hearing his voice before she feels herself getting lifted away and Jean blinks as Romano and Adrian both move with full speed just as Dante grabs the boy.

"Dante" Adrian warns as Romano holds Dante back while he pushes the boy away.

"He is mine"

"Fuck man I thought you were straight" Romano curses before he gets shoved off Dante's back who moves to where the boy was in Warren's hold.

"Fuck no" Warren curses as he shields the boy just as Adrian moves to push Dante away shoving him chest.

"Move" Dante growls.

"Out" Adrian growls back as they both clash.

Adrian easily grabs Dante's fist before he tries to punch Dante who holds Adrian's hand and twists it as they both keep throwing, dodging and kicking each other with a speed which cannot be kept with normal eyes while everyone at the ground watch them in awe.

Pulling away both of them breath heavily as they eye each other.

"Done?" Adrian asks but Dante shakes his head no.

"These are my grounds and my rules are what works here, Dante"

"Well, someone talks shit to my mate and it turns into my battle ground" Dante replies.

"Jean can take care of herself; I do not need anyone's mate barging on the field and create trouble" Adrian points.

"He is right" Jean voices and Dante glares at his mate.

"There won't be any warnings, Dante. You step aside all through this process" Jean reminds and Dante takes a deep breathe as he opens his eyes showcasing his displeasure to his mate before he disappears but then suddenly, he appears behind Warren to punch the boy once, as he disappears.

"He is such a kid" Warren shakes his head as he stares at the unconscious boy.

Jean ignores the stares thrown her way as she eats her dinner before someone dares to step and go to sit on the table but when she raises a brow he just sighs and gives up walking back to his table.

"This...sucks," Jean mumbles as she finishes her food and moves out of the table with the plate.

Washing the plate, she puts the clean one in the basket before she makes her way towards her tent but someone stops her.

"Burn the fat you just ate, stroll around" one of the guards asks stopping her from entering her tent so she turns to walk around the ground.

Jean finds herself walking towards the training area, making her way towards the weapon she grabs one of the swords. Swinging it few times, she smiles as she turns at once swinging it only to gasps and drop the sword when someone stands in front of her.

"You know the sword's kind of heavy" the red-haired girl whines and Jean watches as Adrian just throws the sword at the girl's feet who begrudgingly picks it up and she gives a war-cry and keeps swinging it.

A sparkle of light catches Jean's attention and she frowns as the sparkle beams bright at the mountain, she had met Aura. Without another thought she grabs her sword and makes her way towards the mountain, this time without the weight she moves fast.

The familiar fog welcomes her as she steps inside the cave to find herself once again near the fountain. Walking around she watches the place brighten and figures appear, feature added to the place giving it a life.

Jean finds herself in a room filled with gems and jewels but in all that the throne siting in middle of the room catches her eyes, moving towards the throne she stares at it. Looking around the room she finds it mesmerizing.

Walking around the throne, she pauses as she finds something attached to the throne, moving close she frowns as she stares at the sword at the back of the throne.

She raises her hand to touch it and the sword shakes before it falls down with a thud making her jump, Jean gulps as she looks around the room once again before she steps out of the room in hurry.

Thinking she wandered and explored the place enough; she makes her way out of the cave to get back to her tent before she gets into trouble.
