third pov

The girls of my class had finally convinced the principal and head teacher to let them have a Prom on the following Friday, which happened to be today. Everybody was getting their prom dates, and some people waited till the very day to ask. Hm.

Anyway, Y/N had been pretty down that no one has asked her to Prom yet. She could never gain the confidence to ask anyone, so she was going to wait for someone to ask her.

But little did she know, someone was planning to ask her on the day right on the Prom date, at lunch. Her soon to be prom date wanted everyone to know that Y/N would be his by lunch. As long as Y/N accepted her proposal.

He was also going to ask Y/N to become her girlfriend. Hopefully it would all work out in the end.

They both loved each other. Just neither of them knew.

"Hey! Hosieee! Stephaannnn! I called out as I jogged up to my two friends as they were making their way to school. They both turned to me.

"Ohh! Hey Y/N!" Hosuh waved and I waved back at him.

Stephan nodded his head at me. "Hey!Have you got a prom date yet?" He questioned and I huffed.

"Nooooooo. Nobody loves meee." I dramatically fake-cried and Stephan snickered.

"Calm it, Drama-Queen. Me and Hosuh  know someone's gonna ask you out today. Just not gonna tell you when and who." He smirked.

I immediately stopped fake-crying and looked at him. "Oh! Really?"

He nodded and so did Hosuh.

I silently cheered.

I huffed and walked over to the table that consisted of Hosuh, Daniel, and Stephan.

I looked at them and pouted as I sat down and Daniel turned to me "Ohhh,what's wrong Y/N?"

"Nobody has asked me out at all! Hosuh and Stephan lied to me!" I turned to Hosuh and Stephan and they laughed lightly.

Daniel spoke again, "Be patient Y/N! Jeeez."

"Impatient is my middle name, Daniel! What the FRICK." I pouted and slammed my fist on the table. They all snickered and I pouted with a sigh.

3rd person POV

From the other side of the lunchroom, a certain blonde-haired boy was panicking with one of his friends and Jocat. Well it was just him, Jocat and his friend were trying to help.

"I have to do it right now, but what if she rejects me?" Jay said in a panic, placing his hands on his cheeks.

"She's not going to reject you,
Jay! I'm pretty sure she really likes you, too." Jocat said, pointing at Jay. His friend nodded in agreement.

" Yeah, I do believe Y/N has been waiting for someone to ask her to prom. So she will most likely accept."

"Yeah." Jocat agreed with a partial nod. "Just ask her."

Jay huffed and stood up, grabbing the bouquet of f/c roses he had beside him. "Okay, okay. I'm going to do it. Wish me luck."

Jocat and his friend both cheered quietly and Jay sighed and shook his head.

First Person POV

I tapped my fingers on the table and  looked at Daniel. He suddenly smiled widely. "Ittsss happpeenning!" He whispered to himself and I rose a brow, turning around.

I was met with Jay holding a bouquet of f/c roses. He had a nervous, blushing face as he looked at me. I blushed harder, though.

I've had a crush on Jay for a while now and I swearrr if he's asking me to the prom I will die. I mean, if he asked me out in general I would die.

Jay sheepishly handed the the roses to me and I could immediately sense the amazing smell of them.

"O-Okay, uhm." He inhaled quietly and continued. "Y/N, I've kind of like– well, loved you for a while now. I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to prom, and maybe become my girlfriend-?" He questioned with a larger blush.

I jumped up with a smile and hugged him. "Of course, Jay! I would love too. I say yes to both!"

He blushed and hugged me back, which Daniel and Hosuh awed to. I could even hear Jocat and Jay's friend
awing from across the cafeteria.

And like that, the lunch bell rung and Daniel, Stephan, and Hosuh walked up to me, along with Jay.

"See, told ya, Miss 'Nobody Loves Me'." Stephan 'mocked' me in an annoying voice, which totally didn't sound like me at all.

I huffed and folded my arms and Jay laughed slightly with a content smile. Jocat ran over to us.

"Oh my god! My ship has sailed! My heart!" He held his heart and fake cried, and Daniel joined in with him.

I shook my head and blushed when Jay grabbed my hand and started walking. He had a slight smile.

"Let's get to class, babe." He smiled and glanced at me with a slight smirk. I blushed but squinted at him.

"Two can play that game! Alright, baby?" I hummed and smirked at him, which he blushed and turned his head away.

We walked into the classroom, giggling and smiling. It was going to be a good day, and it was going to be getting even better.
