Chapter 7: Remember

Warning, the fallowing chapter deals with dark themes such as depression and suicide.

Many years ago...

In life, Ember McClain was a shy, but sweet outcast. She loved music and had dreams of one day becoming a rock star.

Ember was standing outside the movie theater in the cold autumn air.

"You waiting for someone?" the ticket man asked.

"Yeah." Ember said. "I'm sure he's just running late."

That day a boy she liked asked her to go to the movies. She was so excited when he asked. She got to the theater early, she just couldn't wait. But now her dream date wasn't showing.

She waited and waited. But he didn't show up.

"Kid, it's been two ours." The ticket man said. "The movies over."

"That's ok." Ember replied. "We'll just see the next one."

"Kid, you seem really nice." The man said. "I'm sorry to say this, but whoever your waiting for... I don't think they're coming. Maybe you should just head home."

Ember thought for a moment. "No... he promised he'd be here." She waited and waited. The weather got colder and colder.

She shivered.

"Kid, you're gonna freeze to death." The ticket man said. "Please just go home."

Still ember waited and waited. It was midnight before she finally decided to go home.

Her parents were gone to a seminar, so Ember was alone that night. Once she got home, she flopped into bed and fell asleep instantly.

She woke up sometime later to a burning sensation in her legs. She opened her eyes and looked around. She could smell smoke and her room was bathed in an orange glow.

"WWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" She shrieked when she saw that her legs were on fire. She fell out of bed and tried to stand.

She grabbed her blankets and tried to use them to put of the flames. But the blankets just caught on fire as well. She reached for the nob of her bedroom door. She managed open the door, only to find that the hallway was on fire as well. She fell face first onto the hot coals that now lined the hallway floor. She rolled around screaming at the top of her lungs as her body was filled with unimaginable pain. With every breath she took the hot air scorched her lungs.

Soon the pain started to go away as her nerves were burned to a crisp.

I'm going to die! Ember realized. Her life started to flash before her eyes. Her parents, and the few loyal friends she had, she'd never see them again. Her dreams of becoming a rock star will never happen. Tears formed in her eyes. She was more scared now than she had ever been in her life. She prayed this was just a nightmare.

"Why?" She uttered. She clenched her eyes shut. Her skin was almost completely burned off now and the fire had singed to her bones. The pain was nearly gone now, there was nothing left to feel pain. A feeling of peace washed over her. Her thoughts started to get quieter and quieter. Then there was nothing. She was no more.

Present day...

The family and friends of Jazz Fenton gathered in the church for her funeral.

"Jazz was, at times more of a third parent than a sister." Danny Fenton gave his speech. "especially when our parents couldn't be there for us. Uh... no offense mom and dad."

Danny went on talking about how much his sister meant to him.

"At times she even seemed a bit too protective of me." Danny continued. "Especially when she joined in my um, other hobbies that at the time were a secret. But um... everybody knows about that now, I'd rather not get into that."

"YEAH DANNY PHANTOM!" Someone in the crowd called out.

"Ok that was extremely inappropriate." Danny said. "But, moving on."

Someone in the crowd raised their hand.

"Excuse me Mr. Phantom." A woman holding a microphone asked. "I'm a reporter CNFOX News. Can you tell me how this will affect your career as a ghost fighting superhero?"

"This is a eulogy, at MY SISTER'S FUNERAL!!!!!" Danny yelled. "I'm not taking questions."

"The public needs to know these things Mr. Phantom." The reporter said.

"First of all, stop calling me Mr. Phantom." Danny said. "When I'm in my human form, it's Fenton. Secondly this is a funeral. I just lost somebody very important to me. You were not invited to this funeral, so would you kindly GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!!!!"

Maddie got up to talk to the reporter. "We're really not taking any questions right now. If you want to schedule an interview with our son, you can call us later ok. Thanks"

Maddie escorted the woman out of the church.

Danny went back to his speech.

"And I know this sounds cliché but..." Danny said. "Jazz, you were taken too soon."

He went back to his seat.

His parents sat on one side of him. On the other was Sam, Tucker, and Grace. This was probably the first time Danny had seen Grace in anything other than her pink sweater. She had a black dress on.

"Hey Grace, you ok?" Danny whispered, noticing Grace holding her stomach with a look of pain on her face.

"I'm fine." Grace said. "Still sore from the whole, getting dissected thing. I'm sorry I couldn't save her."

Then Grace heard the priest mention something about "The angels looking over Jazz's spirit."

"Oh, buddy you have no idea." Grace mumbled.

...

A group of collage girls gathered in their sorority house. It was late at knight and they thought it would be fun to start playing with a Ouija board.

"Are there any spirits here tonight?" One of the girls asked.

The planchette started to move. It moved toward the word "yes" on the board.

"Oh my gosh this is really happening." One of the girls said.

"What is your name oh spirit?" The first girl asked.

The planchette then started to dart between the Z and the O.

ZOZOZOZOZOZOZOZOZOZO.

"Your name is Zozo?" One of the girl's said.

"Yes" the board replied.

"What do you want Zozo?" The first girls asked.

The board then started to spell out a message.

S H O W M E Y O U R T I T S.

"Show me your tits?" One of the girls repeated. "Seriously?"

Then the board spelled out the word "Orgy."

"I think this Zozo guy wants to bone us." One of the girls said.

Then the board spelled out, "Give Daddy some sugar!"

"Fuck off you demonic pig!" One of the girls yelled.

Then the girl was thrown across the room by an invisible force. Then her shirt flew off of her body.

"OH MY GOSH!!!!" The girl yelled. Then they heard an obnoxious laughter.

The girl could feel something grabbing her.

The planchette was now moving without anyone touching it. The board started to spell out "honk honk."

The girl whose shirt got ripped off started to float in the air. The girls all screamed.

...

A green mist fell over a subway train as it speed through the tunnels.

A man sat in the subway minding his own business. Suddenly a spiral of green energy wrapped around the man's legs and squeezed them together.

A ghostly figure appeared before the man. The figure appeared to maybe be a woman. She had short pink hair with one side of her head shaved. She had a rather flat chest for a woman, and a muscular build. She had a black and green jump suit with a blue check mark on her chest. The bottom of her body was just a ghostly tail. Her face was stern and devoid of any emotions.

"Who are you? What do you want?" The man pleaded.

"I am the Ghost of Social Justice." The spirit proclaimed. "And you will pay for your crimes."

"What'd I do?" The man asked.

"You are guilty of the crim of manspreading." The Ghost announced.

"Are... Are you fucking kidding me?" The man said. "All this because I had my legs spread too far?"

The ghosts ghostly tentacles spread the man's legs open. Then a ball of ghostly energy hit the man in the groin like a ghostly fist. The man doubled over in pain.

Then the Ghost lifted the man by the throat and began to strangle him.

"I know the subway can make people cranky. But I think this is going a bit too far." The ghost turned her head to see Danny Phantom (in his ghost form) leaning against one of the poles.

The ghost of social justice let the man go. The man then ran away screaming.

"Who do you think you are to man-terupt me?" The Ghost of Social justice said in a stern booming voice.

"Danny Phantom." Danny said. "Maybe you've heard of me. Half man, half ghost, local hero, savior of the planet, ghost hunter."

"You dare mansplain to me?" The Ghost of Social Justice scorned.

"Uh ma'am, you just asked who I was?" Danny replied. "At least I think you're a ma'am. Honestly it's kind of hard to tell."

"Stow your tone man!" The Ghost of Social justice demanded. "for I am the Ghost of Social Justice, defender of the oppressed, champion of women and non-binary people."

"And sitting the wrong way on a subway is an example of oppression?" Danny said, with and eyebrow raised.

"Do not challenge me boy!" The Ghost of Social Justice commanded. "For I am a strong and independent woman, and I fear no man!"

"Oh, so, you are a woman." Danny replied.

"GRAH!!!!!" The Ghost of Social Justice yelled. She swung her fist at Danny. Danny went intangible and the GSJ's fist passed through him.

"Yeah a real role model for women everywhere." Danny said sarcastically.

PSSHHHHEEEEWWWWWW.

Danny sucked the GSJ into the Fenton thermos with little effort.

"Great just what I need." Danny said. "Another box ghost."

...

With the Guys in White gone, and Fenton Works magically repaired to what it once was, Danny and what was left of his family were free to move back in.

Danny met with Grace and War in the basement.

"Well one down, about a million to go." Danny said holding the Fenton Thermos. "You guys got that containment device fixed?"

"Uh yeah..." Grace said. "Well, I'm not really a tech kind of person. And War can only fix weapons and war stuff. So, we uh... called in an IT angel."

"An IT angel?" Danny said.

"Yeah, his name's Zachariah." Grace said. "He's over there."

Danny turned to see a man with short dark hair, bright blue eyes, and a grey suit.

"Oh, hi um... Zachariah." Danny said.

The man shook Danny's hand. "Nice to meet you sir. You can call me Zach."

"Nice to meet you." Danny said. "So, you're an angel too?"

"Sure am." Zach said. "Grace and I go way back. But anyway, about the ghost containment device. It should be working just fine now. Also, I have created a program on this computer you can use to keep track of the ghosts you capture."

"Wow thanks!' Danny said.

"So why not just throw them back into the portal?" War asked.

"Are you nuts?" Danny said. "So long as that portal leads to Hell, I am not throwing a single spirit though that thing. For now, we'll just keep them in the containment unit. Once we find a way to separate the Ghost Zone from Hell, we'll let the ghosts back into the ghost zone."

"That is some very noble thinking of you." Grace said. "You know this containment unit reminds me of that movie Ghostbusters. You know, the original with Bill Murry. Not that 2016 reboot, that one was garbage."

"HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE 2016 GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!!!" A voice came from the Thermos. "The holiest of holies!"

"Geez what did you catch in there?" Zach asked. "The ghost of mediocrity?"

"She's the Ghost of Social Justice." Danny laughed.

"Sounds like a handful." Grace said.

"A bit of a pest yeah." Danny said. "But she's more bark than bite."

Danny plugged the thermos into the containment device to store the ghost that was captured.

"So anyway, how to close this portal?" Danny asked, "The heat from it is making the room so hot, no human can even come down here."

"Any earthly material will melt from the heat." War explained. "We would need to build a gate made of Enochian steel. We've been gathering the materials left behind by the Guys in White. I've been melting it down to create some tools to help us in our fight against Lucifer. I may have enough for the gate. I really would like to know where they got this stuff. Enochian steel cannot be found naturally on earth."

"There might be some on Fairy World." Grace replied. "It is a higher dimension after all. We had planned to go there anyway. We can take a look, see if there are any signs of the Guys in White up there."

"Eh Danny I made something for you." War said. "Now that you have an angel form, You, should have an angelic weapon to channel your powers."

"Angelic weapon?" Danny said.

"Yeah, most powerful angels have their own special weapon." War said. "Lucifer has his pitchfork, Michael has the sword Excalibur."

"Wait the Michael sword is Excalibur?" Danny said.

"Death has his scythe," War continued. "Grace has her bow, I have my knife and gun. And now you will have this." War pulled out a shiny sword.

"Wow, uh... thanks I guess." Danny said.

"And every great sword needs a name." War said.

"Like the Fright knight's Soul shredder?" Danny said.

"With enough force behind it. This sword will shatter the soul shredder." War explained. "It is made of Enochian steel and is Indestructible to anything on this realm of existence. It can cut through any ghost, even if it's intangible."

Danny held the sword in his hand, and it started to glow green.

"Given your profession, I figured you can call it, The Phantom Slayer." War said.

"Wow, that sounds great." Danny said. "For being the literal embodiment of War, you're not half bad."

"I'm more than just my name kid." War replied. "And you're welcome."

...

"Welcome to CNFox news with your host Don Cameron."

"Danny Phantom," Don Cameron said, "A ghost powered teen, now a young man who once saved the world from a meteor, has come under fire lately in the public eye after he harassed one of our reporters at a funeral. Joining us here is said reporter Martha Bash. Martha, what can you tell us about what you experienced?"

"Thank you, Don," Martha said. "Well I can tell you that Mr. Fenton was being incredibly rude. He told me to get the, you know what out of there."

"Now I am to understand that it was a funeral for Danny's sister Jazz Fenton, correct?"

"Yes Don." Martha said. "And given the circumstances you'd think he'd be a little more polite."

"Sadly, young Jazz Fenton passed away due to complications with radiation poisoning after the tragic explosion of Fenton Works, the place the Fenton family called home." Don explained. "But oddly enough this was not the last catastrophe to happen on that property. After Fenton Works exploded, the government agency known as the Guys in White set up shop on the property, building a base of their own. In mere days since the first explosion, the Guys in White base collapsed, this time, there were no survivors. Here to talk about that is our construction expert Bob."

"Ey, thanks for havin' me Don." Bob said.

"What can you tell us about the site in question Bob?" Don asked. "are there any geological hazards, something that may have caused not one, but two major disasters in less than a week's time."

"What the heck do ya think Don?" Bob said. "Those wackos got a freakin' portal to another dimension in their basement! Who knows what crazy stuff comes out of their huh?"

"Bob?" Martha interjected, "Do you think that somehow, Mr. Phantom may have been responsible for the second incident?"

"Hey, what do I look like to you? A cop?" Bob said. "I have no idea who's responsible for this, that ain't my job."

"We also have reports that after the second disaster, hordes of ghosts have escaped from the Guys in White base," Martha explained. "Can you confirm this Bob?"

"Oh, hell yeah." Bob said. "Ever since that night I had this ghost appear in my apartment. It keep yelling "I am the box ghost!" and "beware!" Really annoying, let me tell ya."

"Joining us now is a young man who claims to know Danny Phantom, personally." Don said. "Please welcome Mr. Damien Smith."

Zozo appeared on the screen in his human form with the other reporters and guests of CNFox.

"Pleasure's all yours." Zozo said.

"Damien, how exactly do you know Danny Phantom?" Don asked.

"We used to be roommates in college." Zozo replied with a smirk. "But I requested that I get a new roommate. Quite frankly, Danny gives me the creeps."

"What can you tell us about Mr. Phantom." Don asked.

"Dude that kid is cray!" Zozo said. "Dude had one of his fights with a ghost on our campus. Completely destroyed the roof on one of our dorms. Also, I hear he demolished a church. A church, can you believe that? Who would want to do that? You know, aside from the altar boys."

"Danny Phantom may have saved the planet once," Martha said. "But he is reckless, and dangerous. And if you ask me, he is more of a magnet for ghostly activity than a deterrent."

"Hey, can I ask you guys something?" Zozo asked. "I always wondered, what does the CN in CNFox stand for?"

"That is a good question Damien." Don said. "CN actually stands for..."

...

Jack Fenton turned the TV off in frustration.

"I don't believe it." Jack said. "Our boy saved the world, and yet they still think he's a menace. And as if our Danny could ever be responsible for the deaths of those Guys in White agents."

Just then Danny entered the room. "Uh yeah... I totally had nothing to do with killing those Guys in White."

"Are you guys any closer to closing up that Hell portal?" Jack asked. "After all we've been through, it's gonna feel good to get back into the old lab."

"Uh close." Danny said. "War is working on creating a new gate that won't melt from the heat of the Hellfire."

"I really wish I could help." Jack said. "It's driving me nuts to be sitting around here doing nothing."

"Well, until the portal is sealed, the basement is so hot that any human who sets foot in it, will actually be incinerated." Danny explained.

"I feel so helpless on this couch." Jack said. "When I'm in my lab, I feel like I can change the world. But here..."

"I know Dad." Danny said. "Don't worry, you'll be back in your lab before you know it. For now, Grace and I are going out..."

"You're going out with Grace now?" Jack said, "I sure hope Sam's taking this well."

"What, no," Danny said. "I mean Grace and I are going outside. I'm still dating Sam. But Grace promised to help with that um... you know, that thing I told you about. Remember, that incident in the bathroom."

"Like I said Danny, proper diet and plenty of fiber." Jack said.

"No, the other thing," Danny said, "the you know, angel thing."

...

Vicky sat on her bed holding the kitten she had found on her doorstep.

"You don't seem to have a collar" Vicky said, taking a close look at the kitten's neck. "Are you a stray?"

The kitten jumped from Vicky's arms and onto her bed. Vicky was shocked to see that a purple collar had appeared at the cat's feet. She picked up the collar and found that it had a skull pendant hanging from it.

"Is this yours?" Vicky noticed the cat was now sitting in a royal stance as if waiting for Vicky to put the collar on him. "I don't really see a name tag do you have a name? Ugh look at me talking to a cat."

"I have gone by many names." A voice boomed in Vicky's head. "You shall pick a name for me, if you do so wish."

"Schrodinger." The name suddenly popped into Vickey's head. It was a name she hadn't ever heard before, at least not that she remembered. But somehow that is the name that escaped her lips.

...

"It's bad enough they have to name this dump after Danny Phantom. And now these hacks are gonna play here." Zozo stood in front of a sigh that read "Skillet live this Saturday at Danny Phantom University."

"As if real metal heads want to listen to music with a "positive message"" Zozo complained. "Why can't they get some real rockers, like Ozzy Osborn, or Rob Zombie, or Kiss?"

"Pretty sure Ozzy played hear last year." Anna said, walking up behind Zozo. "And Kiss is currently in some other dimension guarding the White Wand. And honestly rock as a whole is just garbage anyway. It's so undignified. The only reason you single out Skillet is because they're a Christian band, and well we're literal demons."

"Real rock is bad ass!" Zozo replied. "It's all about rebelling, and violence and..."

"Demon worship?" Anna raised an eyebrow. "Or should I say YOU worship. And I thought I was supposed to be the embodiment of pride. Look if you really want Skillet gone, I could organize a protest, This school has tons of non-Christian students, I'm sure I can convince some of the more, what do they call it? Liberal students, that this move is somehow what the humans call "racist" or something with an ist. Humans are small minded creatures that get caught up in the most ridiculous things, they're easy to manipulate."

"What's liberal? I've never heard that word before." Zozo said.

"You know, liberal, conservative, right, left, democrat, republican." Anna replied. "It's like when you uh... You know how some humans are all grrr, and others are all ragh. It's um... see there are these issues that um... I never really gave this much thought."

"They're meaningless words that humans use to make themselves think they matter in this universe." Lucifer interrupted them. "But I must request that you organize no such protest. Skillet must play here this weekend. Let's just say, the lead singer is not who he says he is, and I would very much like to speak with him."

"Can you at least get the opening act changed?" Zozo asked. "I had a run in earlier with that Ember girl, she was with Danny Phantom. Plus she's such a washed up has been. Bitch only ever plays that stupid Remember song, a one hit wonder if I've ever seen one."

"Ember McLain and Danny Phantom are just ghosts." Lucifer replied. "You're demons, I think you can handle a couple of ghosts."

"I'm telling you man," Zozo replied. "Something is not right with that Danny Phantom guy. There's something in him, something powerful and dark. And not even like our kind of dark, like real Lovecraft shit."

"Trust me, you're overreacting," Lucifer assured him.

...

Danny and Grace stood in front of an abandoned hanger, in an abandoned air strip just outside of town. Danny turned into his angel form.

"So, what do I need to know about being an angel, as apposed to being a ghost?" Danny asked.

"Other than the fact that you can blow up a building with your mind?" Grace smirked. "Well as an angel you will have near limitless power. You need to learn how to control them. I don't want to sound really dark or anything but... back at, what was once the Guys in White base um... Don't get me wrong I am very thankful you saved me but, you kind of scared me. You killed a lot of people back there."

"So, angels can teleport right?" Danny said, trying to change the subject. "How do you do that?"

"Well," Grace said. "Basically, our wings bend the space around us creating a sort of portal to wherever we need to go. Basically, just think of where you want to go, and your wings will do the rest."

Danny closed his eyes and thought of a place he always wanted to go too. He felt his wings flapping. He opened his eyes. His jaw dropped as he realized he was on the moon.

He held his breath as he gazed it the earth rising on the horizon.

Wait, as cool as this is, why am I not suffocating? Danny thought. He closed his eyes again and teleported back to where he started.

Danny gasped drawing in deep breaths.

"Well, where'd you go?" Grace asked.

"I was just on the freaking moon!" Danny replied.

"Oh yeah I should probably mention that we can breathe in outer space." Grace said. "Don't ask how an angel can breathe in a literal vacuum though, it's best not to think about it."

"So, we also have wings." Danny pointed out. "Now I have been able to fly for years but, with these wings is flying somehow different? Like, can angels fly faster than a ghost?"

"Oh yeah, much faster." Grace said as her wings popped up. "Watch!" She flapped her wings and she rocketed up into the air, the gust of wind nearly knocking Danny to the ground. Grace shot through the sky with the sound of a fighter jet. She broke the sound barrier creating a sonic boom. She circled around the area and came back in for a landing.

She landed on her feet. Her inertia made her slide across the ground, the sand below her turned to glass from the friction.

"Damn." Danny said. "So uh, an old Nemesis of min, a man named Vlad Masters, sometimes goes by Vlad Plasmius. He had the ability to duplicate himself, be in more than one place at once. Can angels do that too?"

"Oh boy can we." Grace smiled. "Come on." Grace lead Danny into the hanger.

Grace snapped her fingers and the lights went out.

"Uh, Grace, what's going on?" Danny said.

Then a spotlight shined on Grace. Three more spotlights turned on to reveal three identical copies of Grace standing beside her.

"Oh, ok yeah I see. But what's with the lights?" Danny asked. Then music started to play. "Am I going to regret this?"

Then one of the Grace's started to sing.

https://youtu.be/xFrGuyw1V8s

"You can dance, you Jive. Having the time of your life." Grace sang.

"Oooohh." The other Graces sang back up.

"See that girl, watch that scene. Dig in the dancing queen" Grace sang.

Another Grace appeared beside Danny. This Grace had on a beautiful red dress, and high heels. Her hair was made up and she had make-up and red lipstick. She grabbed Danny by the hand and started to twirl and dance with him.

"Uh, Grace, I'm not sure if..." Danny said.

"Friday night and the lights are low, Looking for a place to go."

"Well you definitely have the right name." Danny said, noticing how gracefully the angel danced.

"Where they play the right music, getting in the swing. You've come to look for a king.

Anybody could be that guy, the night is young and the music's high."

"I was never a really huge fan of Abba." Danny admitted.

"With a bit of rock music, everything is fine. You're in the mood for a dance. And when you get that chance.

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen.

Dancing queen feel the beat of the tambourine oh yeah!

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life.

See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen."

Grace put a rose in her teeth. She bent Danny back and got close to his face.

"Whoa, what are you doing?" Danny said as he started to blush.

"Danny!" Sam walked into the warehouse and the music stopped. "What the heck is going on here?

"Sam!" Danny said. "I... I can explain!"

Then another Grace, also dolled up in a red dress appeared beside Sam.

"Uh... Grace?" Sam said as Grace took Sam by her hands.

The music started back up and now both Danny and Sam where each Dancing with a duplicate of Grace.

"You're a teaser you turn them on.

Leave burning then you're gone.

Looking out for another, anyone will due.

The music died out and the lights turned back on. All the Grace's turned back into one Grace in her normal pink sweater, and blue jeans.

"Uh... What the heck was that?" Danny asked.

"Psh, just having a little fun." Grace said.

"D-Danny," Sam said. "Are... are those wings?"

"I uh..." Danny stammered.

"Danny has an angel form now." Grace informed Sam.

"What was up with that dancing thing?" Sam asked.

"I was just giving Danny a demonstration of how angels can be in more than one place at once." Grace replied.

"And that's the best way you could have shown that?" Sam said.

"Oh, I see." Grace said. "I see what's going on here. Look Sam, I wouldn't even dream of coming between you and Danny. You can trust me guys, I'm an angel."

"Yeah and so is Lucifer." Sam said.

"And Adolf Hitler was a human." Grace said. "Sam, I am an angel of love. It's very much in my best interest if you two stay together."

"Oh, really and why's that?" Sam said.

"I feed off of love." Grace said simply.

"Excuse me?" Sam said.

"When humans fall in love, they create a sort of energy when they're together." Grace said. "And as an angel of love, I... well I feed off of that energy for sustenance."

"So, let me get this straight." Sam said. "The only reason you're even friends with us, is so you can feed off of our love juices?"

"EW! SAM!" Danny said.

"Yeah a lot of people get creeped out when I tell them that." Grace said. "I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been run out of a town or two. People tend to think I'm some sort of parasite or something. And yes, technically I am a sort of symbiotic alien life form, but it's a mutualistic relationship. I'm not a parasite. I get food from this yes, but in return, my powers make human relationships stronger than ever."

"Yes, because Dany and I have just been spending so much time together, since you've arrived." Sam said sarcastically.

Grace looked down at the floor, then back at Sam. Sam took a step back as she saw Grace's eyes have started to glow blue.

"I will not be treated like some sort of monster." Grace said in a stern voice. "Not again, not ever again." A bow materialized in Grace's hand. She drew back the string and an arrow materialized, loaded into the bow. Sparks of lightning cracked from the arrow. She aimed her bow directly at Sam.

Thunder cracked as Grace let loose her arrow. The projectile zipped through the air and flew just past Sam. It hit an old plane behind Sam. The plane exploded in a ball of fire.

Sam tumbled to the ground.

"SAM!" Danny yelled.

Sam got to her hands and knees and looked up at Grace, with a look of shock and horror on her face.

Grace breathed heavily, her face had a look of shock that matched Sam's.

"Grace?" Danny said.

"I... I... I'm sorry I didn't" Grace said lowering her bow. She dropped the bow on the ground. It made a clatter then vanished.

"Grace, just take it easy now." Danny walked over to the angel. "It's gonna be ok. We don't think you're a monster, or parasite or anything like that. We're gonna be fine, you're gonna be fine. It's all ok."

"Right sure I..." Grace held her head. "I don't know what came over me."

Danny remembered something similar happened when he first found out Grace was an angel, and that demons and angels were real. Zozo had taunted her about Lucifer coming to get her, so she pelted him with arrows.

"It's ok," Danny said again. "You were just scarred, weren't you? Scared we were going to turn on you."

Grace nodded her head.

"If that's what happens when she's scared," Sam said getting back to her feet. "Remind me never to take her to a haunted house."

"How about you tell me a bit about telekinesis," Danny suggested. "How to move things with my mind."

"Ah yeah sure, that, that sounds good." Grace said, still shaken up.

...

"So, I have used it before, but I was kind of going off of instinct." Danny said. "How do you really move things with your mind?"

"Well, telekinesis is rather complicated." Grace said. "I guess what I would say is, don't think of your physical body as being all you are. Like, think of yourself as like, part of everything around you, you know? Your body is a vessel, but the being that is you stretches far beyond just your hands. Like I guess pretend your hands can stretch as far as you want. Or like imagine you have another set of invisible hands or something. Ugh this is so hard to explain."

"Try practicing on that box over there." Sam suggested. "Just go all Jedi on that thing."

Danny reached his hand out toward a box a few yards ahead of himself. He concentrated hard. The ground shook a bit, but the box didn't move.

"I don't think I can. Maybe if I was in battle with all the adrenaline like when I was fighting Zozo?" Danny said.

"Uh Danny." Sam motioned for Danny to look up.

Danny looked up to see that the entire hanger had been ripped off of its foundation and was floating in the air. Danny was lifting the entire hanger.

"Well, I know I can't do that." Grace said.

...

Vicky was met with shock when she reached her front porch. She had just gotten back from the pet store, buying food for her new pet. She found all of her stuff was packed up and tossed out on the front porch of the apartment.

Her new cat Schrodinger sat among the bags of her stuff, meowing and looking up at her with sad eyes.

Vicky found a note, it was from her landlord, telling her it was too late to pay her rent, and she was being evicted.

"Fuck." Vicky said upon reading the note.

She picked up her cat and held it tightly, she shivered as a gust of cold air hit her.

"Oh, what am I going to do now?" She said to the cat.

"Life hasn't been going well for you I take it." Came a soft calming voice. Vicky turned around to see a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk.

She had never seen the man before. He was an elderly black man. He had white hair and freckles. His eyes looked tired and kind, a white beard circled his smiling mouth.

Vicky jumped a bit. "Dang you scarred me."

"I do apologize for that." The man said.

"Oh, no that's fine. Don't worry about it." Vicky said.

"Come sit down." The man said, his voice soothing and smooth. "Don't worry I don't bite."

Vicky set her cat down and sat down next to the man. The cat walked up to the man and rubbed himself against his body, purring.

"Hey pal." The man said to the cat. "How've you been? I see you made a new friend."

"Is... that your cat?" Vicky asked.

"No, but he is an old friend." The man said, picking up the cat to pet him. "He and I go way back."

"Way back?" Vicky said. "You must be mistaken, this is just a kitten. He can't be more than a few months old."

"Oh, he's way older than that." The man said. "Vicky, right? That's your name."

"Uh yeah, how did you know." Vicky said.

"I saw the note left for you by your landlord." The man said.

"Oh. Well... who are you?" Vicky asked.

"I am..." The man said.

"You are... who?" Vicky pressed on.

"Morgan." The man replied. "You can call me Morgan."

"Oh. Well looks like I'm going to be the same as you now Morgan." Vick said in a sad voice as she held her knees. "Homeless."

"This isn't the end for you Vicky." Morgan said. "The future is not set in stone, not even for you. No matter who we were in the past, we always have many paths we can take."

"So, is this going to lead into some, "God works in mysterious way" speech?" Vicky asked.

"Do you believe in God, Vicky?" Morgan asked.

"No, yes, well I'm not sure." Vicky replied. "I didn't believe in him, at least until..."

"Until you met an angel." Morgan smiled.

"How did you...?" Vicky said.

"There are people who care about you Vicky." Morgan said. "Friends who will help you despite what you've done to them."

"Timmy?" Vicky said. "I don't know if he really wants to be bothered." Though Vicky had shared a kiss with Timmy, she wasn't sure how she felt about him. And she didn't know how he felt about her. They were bitter rivals when they were younger after all. Could she really call him a friend now?

Vicky got up "I think I have someone to talk to. Thanks Morgan." She walked away.

"Oh wait..." She dug into her bag and pulled out a green jacket. "I don't know if this will fit you, but I'm sure you'll need this more than me."

Vicky turned around to see that Morgan had vanished.

"Morgan?" Vicky said, looking around. "Where'd you go?"

...

Danny, Sam and Grace walked back to Danny's house.

"So, Grace." Sam said, "Since you're an angel and all. I was wondering. Have ever you know, met God?"

"Yeah, actually I have." Grace replied.

"Really?" Danny, who was now back in his human form asked. "What's he like."

"In a word, complicated." Grace replied. "But it's possible you guys have met God, yourselves and didn't even know it."

"Seriously?" Sam said. "How would you not know you've just met the creator of the universe?"

"Well..." Grace said.

"And here's a bigger question." Sam said with a smirk. "Is God a man or a woman?"

"Both and neither," Grace said. "God appears differently to different people. Sometimes God is a man, sometimes God is a woman. That's why most people don't ever know they've met him. God can be a man, a woman, black, white, poor, rich. Sometimes he doesn't even appear as a human. God showed up to Moses as a burning bush."

"Wow, didn't expect that answer, huh Sam?" Danny said.

...

"You call this fucking food!" An angry British voice came from the Fenton's kitchen. "This fucking ham is more spoiled than Greta Thunberg."

"Hey who's in there!?!?" Jack yelled, getting off the couch. "I warn you I'm armed."

A man came out of the kitchen with messy blond hair, and a wrinkled forehead. The man was wearing a chef's uniform.

"Armed with what? a turkey baster? I you dumb fat ass." The man said.

"Who are you, and what do you want?" Jack demanded.

"I'm just here to see my brother, War." The man said.

"So, who are you?" Jack repeated.

"Who the bloody hell do you think I am?" The man said. "I just told you my fucking brother is the horseman of War. I'm in a fucking chef uniform. Do the fucking math!"

"Huh, I was never that good at math, so just give me a sec..." Jack said. "Let's see, you carry the one..."

The man facepalmed. Just then War came up from the Basement.

"Famine! Glad you could make it!" War greeted the new guest.

"Wait a minute!" Jack said. "You're Famine!"

Famine clapped sarcastically. "Congratulations dummy, you hit the nail on the head."

"Wow, this TV is incredible!" Jack turned around to see another man had appeared in his couch. This man was much shorter and skinnier than the others, he had messy brown hair and a short brown beard. His voice was higher pitched and irritating.

"And you must be..." Jack said.

"Pestilence." The third man replied.

Then Danny and the others came in the door.

"Uh... hey guys." Grace said, noticing the other Horsemen. "Didn't expect to see you here."

Famine's face relaxed and he smiled. "Hello dear," he greeted his little sister, Grace. "Your brother and I stopped by to offer a helping hand. Would you like me to get you anything to eat?"

"Oh, hey sis!" Pestilence said. "I see you made some more um... human friends."

Maddie then entered the room. "Say Jack. I don't know if I heard you correctly but... Are these men um... the Horsemen of the Apocalypse?"

"Yes, ma'am we are." Pestilence replied.

"I see," Maddie said. "So, let me get this straight. We got, War, Famine, and Pestilence. You said Danny's new friend is you sister. You know, the girl in the pink sweater, which is adorable I might add."

"Yep she's our sister." Pestilence replied.

"So, I take this whole time, Danny's cute little collage friend is um... Death itself." Maddie said.

"AH HAHAHAHAHA!" Pestilence through his head back and laughed. "Grace? Death? No no no. I assure you Grace is not Death. Trust me, Death is Much more terrifying."

"So, who is she?" Maddie asked.

"Oh, she's new. No one knows about her." Pestilence said. "She's the horsemen of Love."

"Love?" Maddie said. "But I thought the horsemen were supposed to be, you know... destructive."

"Hey, the power of love is a curious thing Mrs. Fenton." Pestilence said. "It'll make one, man weep, and another man sing."

"So, are you here to destroy us?" Maddie said.

"Typical human." Famine said. "You always think we horsemen want to destroy the bloody world. Well first of all, we happen to be angels of God, Miss. We don't cause those horrible things, we control them. Or at least we try to. Our job is to balance the universe but there is a tiny little variable that tends to mess things up called humanity."

"Famine!" Grace said. "That's not helping."

"Point is we're not here to save or destroy mankind." War said. "We're a neutral force. But we do look out for our own. And for reasons to big for you to understand, Lucifer, or as you might call him Satan, is gunning down our little sister, as well as many other angels. So, as Lucifer threatens you humans just as much, we seem to have a common enemy."

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Pestilence added. "Seems the only one missing here is the big guy."

"Oh, we got a pretty big bastard right here." Famine pointed to Jack.

"He means Death, brother." War replied. "The missing party is Death."

"Who knows what that guy's up to." Famine said. "What goes on in that fucker's mind is true enigma."

"I sense a bit of family tension here." Jack pointed out.

"Death is the oldest and most powerful of us all." War explained. "He was the first angel that God ever made, or so the legend goes. There is much about Death that even we, his own brothers do not know."

"Just that he makes the rest of us look like cherubs." Pestilence said. "Uh, no offense Grace."

"None taken." Grace replied.

"Death is the only one of the Horsemen to be able to over pawer an Arch angel." Pestilence said. Death's power is comparable to God himself. That kind of creates a bit of a disconnect between him and the family. Plus, he's like, super weird."

...

Timmy answered his door to find Vicky on the other side.

"Vicky? You look terrible, what's wrong?" Timmy asked.

"I got kicked out of my apartment." Vicky sniffed. "Can I stay here for a while? Just until I get back on my feet."

"Yeah sure uh... is that a cat?" Timmy pointed out the small black cat in Vicky's arms.

"Yeah." Vicky answered.

"Can I hold him?" Timmy asked.

Vicky handed the cat to Timmy. "His name's Schrodinger."

"You named your cat Schrodinger?" Timmy said. "Doesn't that seem a little inappropriate."

"Why?" Vicky said. "It's not even a real word, it's just something that randomly popped up in my head."

"You really haven't heard of Schrodinger's cat?" Timmy said.

"No." Vicky replied. "Was Schrodinger a real person?"

"Wait if you've never heard of Schrodinger, how did you come up with that name?" Timmy asked.

Vicky shrugged.

"Well come on in." Timmy said. "You can sleep on the couch."

"Hey Timmy." Vicky said. "About the other day, in the park. When we..."

"Oh that, yeah uh..." Timmy said. "That was you know... just a kind of, heat of the moment thing."

"But it was cold." Vicky said. "Oh right, you mean like. Yeah totally it's no big deal. What happened, happened, and we move on. Did... did you feel anything."

"I uh..." Timmy said. "Well I don't know. I mean I don't want to sound like that guy but... you have been very mean to me in the past. I know you wanna change, and I believe you can I really do. But I don't think I would want to be in that kind of relationship with you until I know for sure you're not up to your old tricks."

"My old tricks?" Vicky replied.

"Well I don't want to date a girl who's going to shove my head in a toilet." Timmy replied.

"I don't do that anymore." Vicky replied.

"Well let me get to know the new you a bit, then we'll see where things go." Timmy said.

"Ok cool." Vicky said. "So, thanks for letting me say here. If I can ever repay you."

"I'll let you know." Timmy said. "Hey, I just noticed your eyes look different."

"They do?" Vicky said.

"Yeah, they look more purple than pink." Timmy said.

...

Timmy went into his room and ran into Casmo and Wanda.

"Uh sport, did you seriously just let Vicky move in?" Wanda said.

"Uh yeah, I guess I did." Timmy replied.

"Are we going to have to shield Poof's eyes again?" Casmo asked.

"Out of all the girls you've been with? Vicky really? Is that who you want to be with?" Wanda said. "Whatever happened to Tootie, or Chloe?"

"Guys, I'm not trying to sleep with Vicky ok?" Timmy said. "She was evicted from her home, and I'm just helping her out."

"Aw that's sweet of you Timmy." Wanda said. "Helping Vicky in her time of need, despite the fact that she made your childhood a living hell."

"Well if she hadn't, I wouldn't have gotten you guys." Timmy replied. "And she's been trying to turn over a new leaf. Besides it's not like I've been a total angel my whole life."

"No, you've been a bit of a slacker your whole life." Wanda said. "No offense, but you promised Jorgen that if you got to keep us, you'd use our magic to change the world for the better. But so far, you've just been sitting around collage, and getting with girls."

"Well I guess the fairies in fairy world just really trust me." Timmy replied.

"If buy trust you, you mean you cried and begged until Jorgen gave in. Then yes they totally trust you." Casmo said.

"Well if I'm going to make the world a better place, then I guess turning Vicky's life around would be a good start." Timmy said. "And it should be relatively easy, she's already making efforts herself to become a better person. With your help I bet we can turn Vicky into a truly outstanding citizen, and a shining light on society. We can turn her into a second Chloe Carmichael. Of, course we probably shouldn't just wish her nice, we don't need another evil butt bug running around."

"We should get the help of Grace." Casmo said.

"That's a great idea Casmo. The magic powers of an angel of love could be just what we need." Wanda said. "Of, course we would need to find Grace."

"Plus, she's so pretty and wonderful..." Casmo went on until Wanda gave him a menacing glair.

"But not as pretty or wonderful as you of, course, hehe." Casmo corrected himself.

...

Vicky pet her cat with a sad expression on her face.

"I think you'll be happy here, Schrodinger." Vicky said, as she stroked the adorable black kitten. The cat purred as Vicky pet him. "Timmy Turner is a really good guy..." Vicky sniffled. "He can take much care of you than I ever could."

"Hey Vicky." Timmy said as he came out of his room. "Some friends and I are going to that Skillet concert tonight, wanna come?"

"Skillet?" Vicky said. "Uh... no, sorry, I'm not really in the mood to dance or party tonight. I'm just going to head over to the bar a few blocks back. Spend what little I have to drink my sorrows away."

"You sure?" Timmy said. "Your sister will be there."

"When you see her, I want you to tell her something." Vicky said, her eyes filling with tears. "Tell her that... that I'm sorry for everything I've done to her. That I wish I could have been a better sister. Tell her that deep down, despite everything, I really loved her."

"I'll be sure to tell her that Vicky." Timmy said. "I am going to see you when I get back right?"

"Y-yeah of course." Vicky said, an uncertainty in her voice.

Timmy left the house and Vicky was left alone with the cat.

"Now, I want you to be a good boy for Timmy ok?" Vicky said, running her hands down the kittens back. "Like I said, he is a kind and sweet soul, he'll take good care of you. I just... I just want you to be happy."

She picked up the cat and hugged him. Tears rolled down her face.

...

Zozo stood in a dark field outside a barn. He dialed Anna AKA Pride, on his phone.

"What is it now Zozo?" Pride asked.

"You know how the big guy didn't want us canceling the lame ass Skillet show?" Zozo said. "Well he never said we couldn't pull a huge prank at the show."

"Ugh, dude, what did you do?" Pride sighed.

"You ever see that movie Carrie?" Zozo asked.

"Oh no you didn't." Pride said.

"I'm about too!" Zozo said, holding back a snicker.

"You are not going to dump pig's blood on John Cooper, during his show." Pride urged. "We really need to keep a low profile."

"Oh, come on. Have a little fun now and then." Zozo replied.

He hung up the phone.

Her turned to where he had a cop, gaged, tied up, and hung upside down from a tree, with a bucket below him.

"Alright pig," Zozo said with an evil smile, pulling out a switch blade. "Time get some blood."

The cop screamed as the demon started to cut.

...

Vicky walked into the bar she said she was going to. The nights were getting colder. She wore a green sweater that was one of the only 3 shirts she owned. A sweater, a hoodie, and a t-shirt, all green.

It wasn't that she was particularly fond of the color, it was just a color. Unfortunately, after loosing her third or fourth job, she had to sell most of her wardrobe to pay for food and rent.

Her hair was a mess and she had red circles under her eyes from when she was crying.

Luckily the bar was empty. A single bar tender stood behind the bar. It was a woman with green, well groomed hair that was tied back in a pony tail. The woman wore a grey suit that was buttoned up real nice. You could not have found to more opposite looking women at that time than Vicky and this bar tender.

Little did Vicky know, the real bar tender was stashed in the freezer in back, whith his neck broken.

"Evening ma'am, may I help you?" The woman said in a pleasant voice.

There was something odd about this woman. Something familiar. She couldn't put her finger on it. But somehow it felt like Vicky had known this woman her entire life.

"Come, sit." The woman calmly. "My name's Jenny."

Vicky sat down.
"What would you like sweetie?" Jenny asked in a soft sweet voice with an Irish accent.

Is this girl some sort of mirror version of myself? Vicky thought. I have red hair, she has green, I have an old sweater, she has a suit, I am living in the gutter and she seems to have her life together. This woman's kind and sweet while I'm, well me.

"Well I would like..." Vicky started. Who am I kidding? this Jenny woman is clearly a total sweetheart. Even the name Jenny just screams "hug me". She's not going to give you what you want. No one is, that's crazy. I should just do it myself really.

"What would you like dear?" Jenny asked with a warm smile on her face.

"I would like to get drunk." Vicky shrugged. "That is why I'm at a bar." Why is this woman so familiar?

Jenny cocked her head to the side. Her eyes suddenly flashed a bright green color.

Am I going crazy, or did her eyes just glow for a second?

"That's not all you want, is it Vicky Miller." Jenny said.

Vicky opened her mouth to ask Jenny how she knew her name.

Jenny's eyes flashed again, an otherworldly green glow. "Why are you really here? What do you desire?"

"I wanna die." Vicky blurted out. She couldn't control it, it just came out. "I came here to kill myself. I was going to try to drink so much I died of alcohol poisoning."

"I can do that." Jenn smiled.

"Wait what?" Vicky was surprised, and a bit shocked. "You're not even going to try to talk me out of it?"

"You're money's good." Jenny said. "That's what matters."

Ok so I was VERY wrong about this woman Vicky thought. Clearly not a sweetheart. Hell, she's probably some sort of sociopath. I know I literally came here to die and all, but should I be worried? Could she hurt someone else? Someone who actually deserves to live?

"Gee, if it wasn't for the fact that I actually want to die, I'd be insulted." Vicky said.

"Funny," Jenny said, as she prepared the first drink. "I'm sure the world will miss that humor."

"No one's going to miss me..." Vicky said with a sigh. "But how do you know my name?"

"You could say we're old friends." Jenny said.

"From where?" Vicky asked.

Jenny handed her a drink, that looked like iced tea.

"Long Island Iced Tea." Jenny explained. "It's basically just a whole mess of boos mixed together. 7 or 8 of these is sure to end your life."

Vicky took a drink. "Wow, that's strong."

"Drink up darlin" Jenny smiled.

...

At the concert, Ember McClain knocked on the door to John Cooper's dressing room.

"Can I help you?" John asked.

"Well I just thought," Ember said. "Well I've never opened for anyone before, let alone someone as big as you guys. I thought maybe we should meet before the show."

"You're nervous?" John asked.

"If I had a heart, it would be racing right now." Ember said.

"We all have hearts, even if we don't think we do." John explained.

"Actually, as a ghost, I literally have no organs." Ember explained. "And that includes a heart."

"Well you're not wrong." John said. "But you'll do fine. You were a hit yourself a while back if I recall?"

"Well I only ever had one hit song." Ember said. "And I kind of hypnotized my fans into liking it."

"Well I thought Remember was an amazing song, and I can't even be hypnotized." John explained.

"Well I'm just kind of a one-hit wonder." Ember said. "Do you really want me opening for you?"

"If you want you can sing one of our songs." John said. "Stars is an easy one to sing, and it's a beautiful song."

"Sure, I guess" Ember replied.

...

"Now opening for Skillet, please welcome, Ember McClain." The voice on the Loud speaker called out.

Ember walked up to the mike.

"Gee I wander what she's gonna sing. Could it be the only freaking song she's ever written." Someone in the audience said sarcastically.

"Hey um..." Ember started. "So I know I've kind of been known as a bit of a one hit wonder but... I wanted to do something different. So John Cooper of Skillet, just backstage there. He said I could do a cover of one of his songs so um... here's, Stars..."

https://youtu.be/TbLJyjfyACM

Ember cleared her throat and began to sing. "You spoke a word and life began. Told oceans where to start and where to end. You set in motion time and space, yet still you come, and call to me by name.

If you can hold the stars in place, you can hold my heart the same. If you can calm the raging sea, you can calm the storm in me.

So here I am, lifting up my heart, to the one who holds the stars..."

...

Vicky was only halfway through her first drink an already the room was starting to spin.

"You got a credit card, right?" Jenny asked.

"Oh, yeah sure." Vicky dug her credit card out of her purse and handed it to Jenny.

"I'll open a tab for you," Jenny explained. "I'll close it once you're dead."

"Have you ever killed anyone before?" Vicky asked.

"Yes, I have." Jenny explained. "I've actually taken quite a fair amount of lives in my day."

"Do you always poison them?" Vicky asked.

"Sometimes." Jenny replied, making anther drink for Vicky. "But I've used a variety of methods to kill people. Burning them is especially fun. Or just slowly cutting them to pieces. I get a lot more enjoyment from slow deaths. It turns me on. Heh it's not often though, that someone actually wants me to kill them."

Vicky started on her second drink. "You're not really a bar tender, are you?"

Jenny smirked. "No, I'm not."

"This... this isn't right." Vicky said to herself. She started to stand up. "Listen Jenny. Thanks for the drinks and all. But I changed my mind. I don't wanna die tonight. I would like to close my tab and be on my way."

Jenny pointed a finger at Vicky then moved her finger down pointing at the seat. Vicky felt an invisible force push her back into the chair.

"No, I don't think so." Jenny said, her voice much darker, and her Irish accent gone. "You made a commitment to dying tonight, here with me. And now you are going to stay true to that."

Jenny grabbed the glass in front of Vicky with one hand, and Vicky's hair with the other. She tipped back Vicky's head and forcibly poured the alcoholic beverage down her throat.

Vicky cough and sputtered.

"What the hell?" Vicky coughed trying to catch her breath. "What... what are you?"

"In a sense, I'm you Vicky." Jenny replied. "I'm the part of you that has been driving you for years, the part you have been trying so hard to leave behind."

"What are you talking about?" Vicky said.

"Money, money, money." Jenny said, taking Vicky's wallet out of her purse.

"Hey that's mine!" Vicky said. She tried to get up, but somehow, she was stuck to her seat.

Jenny took out whatever money was left in Vicky's wallet. "I don't know what it is about this green paper that drives you humans. But anything you put value in, is mine now. I am the part of you, the part of all men and women who crave riches, who will do anything to have more than their neighbor."

Jenny got close to Vicky's face and stroked her fingers through Vicky's fire red hair.

"Jenny isn't your real name is it?" Vicky said.

"I am Greed," Jenny replied. "And you are mine." She pulled Vicky in and gave her a deep passionate kiss. Vicky's eyes widened as Greed's tongue slithered into her mouth, wrapping around her own.

Greed broke from the kiss, panting heavily. "It is so fitting that I should be the one to kill you."

"Money, money, money." Greed repeated as she threw dollars at Vicky's face. "That was the only thing you cared about. Money. It's what compelled you to do terrible things. You would do anything for just a little more, green. Your greed has made you my property your entire life. Ha, and now, you are actually paying to die!"

Tears rolled down Vicky's face. "I told you, I changed my mind." She cried. "I don't want to die anymore."

"But you will." Greed said. "You'll drink yourself to death, then you'll go to Hell, where you will be mine for all of eternity."

"And what if I say no?" Vicky asked. "What if I refuse to drink another drop?"

Greed turned around and headed to the back room. Vicky heard a wet ripping sound. Greed came back moments later holding something behind her back.

"You know you're right." Greed said. "You have more reason to live now than you have in the past. You actually have friends now. Timmy Turner, the one who you tortured the most has forgiven you and is even helping you in your time of need.

Grace an angel sent down from Heaven has used her divine powers to save your life. An angel who wants you to be a better person.

And let's not forget your new fury little friend. The cat Schrodinger."

Greed slammed a frozen disembodied head in the table next to Vicky. "It would be a real shame if something happened to them."

Vicky's eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

"You're a monster." Vicky said, then she took the glass in front of her with a shaky hand and started to drink.

"That's right drink up. Be a good little girl." Greed smiled. "You don't belong in this world anyway."

"If you want me to drink 'til I'm dead," Vicky said. "Fine, but buckle up sister, I have a very strong alcohol tolerance." Then she took another drink.

...

"You're the one who holds the stars." Ember finished singing her cover of Skillet's song Stars. "And now, put you hands together for Skillet."

The crowd cheered as the members of Skillet took stage, and Ember left.

"Skillet! Skilled! Skillet!"

The band took stage, and John walked up to the mike.

"And thank you Ember McClain." John said. "I for one think that was a beautiful performance."

Little did John know, a bucket was perched above his head, just out of view, a bucket full of "pig's blood".

Meanwhile, Zozo sat in the shadows of the hallway just outside the main auditorium. He held a rope and an evil grin spread across his face.

"How's this for a positive message you preachy hacks" Zozo said, then he pulled the rope.

Much to the demon's shock and surprise, instead of dousing the singer with blood, the bucket somehow appeared above Zozo's head, and fell on him instead.

Zozo wiped the blood from his confused face. "How the fuck? You have GOT to be kidding me."

"Are you feeling troubled, child?" came a voice.

Zozo opened his eyes to see John Cooper standing in front of him. Zozo looked back to the stage to see John was still up on stage, yet he was also standing right there in that hallway in front of Zozo.

"How did you?" Zozo said.

"My people have a way of being in more than one place at once." John said as his eyes flashed blue.

"Are... are you an angel?" Zozo asked.

"Be not afraid nephew," John said, "For all are welcome here."

"Nephew?" Zozo said. "Your name isn't really John Cooper is it?"

"I am Michael." John said. "The arch angel. Guardian of the Lord, and brother of the fallen angel Lucifer. And you are a demon, a spawn of Satan, who is Lucifer. You are my nephew."

"So, what now Michael?" Zozo said with a sarcastic attitude. "Are you gonna smite me?"

"Not unless I have too." Michael replied. "The blood that now cover's your body, it was not from an animal, but from a man. Now I don't really mind If you don't like my music, but that man was innocent. He had a family. I just want you to know that what you did was wrong. You cannot take back what you have done, but you may seek to be a better person in the future."

"Shit dude, I thought arch angels were supposed to be smart," Zozo mocked. "Wake up retard! I'm a demon! I am literally defined by evil, I can't just seek to be a better person."

"Well says who?" Michael said. "My brother? Now Lucy is still my family and I care about him. But he is a very misguided man."

"Psh, yeah no." Zozo said. "I don't fallow you or Lucifer. I am my own man, and I make my own decisions."

"That's good," Michael said. "You choose your own path. But be careful what choices you make. You do not want to find yourself at the end of a dark path, and I do not want to see you on that path either."

"Or what?" Zozo said. "My soul will go to Hell? Demons don't have souls, and neither do angels. When I die it's lights out, game over. No matter what I do my path lies in oblivion, and so does yours old man. So I might as well have a little fun."

"Well if that is the path you choose," Michael snapped his fingers and the blood was cleaned from Zozo's face. "but there are worse fates than Death." Michael vanished.

...

Timmy was dancing in the crowd. Really more like standing in the crowd with Chester and AJ. He heard a voice from behind him.

"Hey Timmy, long time no see." He turned around to see Tootie.

"Oh, hey Tootie." Timmy said. "Glad to see you finally back in town. Well not back in town exactly, we're no longer in Dimmesdale but..."

"Nice to see you too Timmy." Tootie said.

"Oh hey, I should mention, I saw your sister." Timmy said.

"Vicky?" Tootie said. "Wow, I was wondering what happened to her. She just disappeared years ago. You found her? How is she?"

"Eh., not good." Timmy said. "She's been evicted from her apartment. I've actually been letting her stay with me."

"I hope she's not giving you any trouble." Tootie said. "I know she's not the nicest person around."

"Actually, she's changed a lot." Timmy said. "You'd be amazed, she's like a completely different person."

"Really?" Tootie said. "Cause, I know she's been pretty intense since that back surgery."

"Back Surgery?" Timmy said. "What back surgery?"

"Oh yeah, she had to have surgery on her back, when she was 14." Tootie said. "Well before the two of you even met. She was a lot nicer before that. I don't know what the doctors did to her, but it messed with her mind something fierce. She went in all nice and sweet, but when she came out, she was meaner than a rattle snake having its period."

"Do rattle snakes even get periods?" Timmy asked.

"I don't know." Tootie replied.

...

Vicky swayed back and forth, the room around her was spinning like a tornado. A pile of empty glasses lay before her

"I know you're... you... buh... you're keeping my against my wall... against my will and all...." Vicky slurred. "But.... Can.... Can I use the little girls room.... I... I think I'm gonna hurl."

Then the drunken woman started to gag. "BLAH!" she hurled all over the table and into the face of the demon Greed.

"Oh.... Shory bout dat." Vicky said.

Greed snapped her fingers. The vomit was engulphed in green fire, and quickly vanished.

"Puking will only dehydrate you more and kill you faster." Greed said.

Vicky started to sob. "I... I don't wanna die....please let me go. I won't tell no one you're a demon, I swear."

"psh, you come in here asking to die, now you're begging for your life. You're pathetic." Greed taunted. "A waste of space on this Earth. The world will be a much happier place when you die."

"No I... I'm not a waste..." Vicky cried. "I know I've been mean in the past. Timmy didn't deserve any of the stuff I did to him. Timmy was such a sweet boy, and what I did was wrong. But I don't want to die..."

"Humans... you say you wanna die, but when you come face to face with that cold void of death, you break down all the same." Greed said.

Vicky tried to pull herself off her chair. She placed her hands on the table and pushed as hard as she could to get herself free. But it was no use, she was glued to that seat.

She dropped her head on the table and started to cry some more.

"If you really want to live just say so," Greed said. "Of course, that deal is going to cost you."

"What my soul?" Vicky said.

"No, I've said it before," Greed explained, pouring another drink. "If I let you live tonight, then in place of your life, I will kill Timmy Turner, his useless friends, that mangy cat, the stupid little angel, and I heard your sister flew into town. Tootie, yeah, I'll kill her too. What'll it be Vicky, your life, or theirs?"

Vicky sniffed and started on the next drink. The taste of the drinks was starting to make her gag as they hit her throat. It had become a chore to force drink after drink down her throat. She had thought that this would be a peaceful death, but it was agonizing. Her stomach churned, her head spun, her body felt numb, and she could feel the contents of her stomach creeping up her esophagus.

"That's a good girl." Greed said.

"You're a monster." Vicky said.

...

Grace appeared in the main hall where the Skillet concert was. She found Timmy and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey Timmy." Grace said. "Have you seen Vicky?"

"Why you ask?" Timmy asked.

"I just wanted to check up on her, make sure she was ok." Grace replied.

"Oh, she should be in the bar just outside of campus." Timm said.

"Ok thanks." Grace said then she disappeared.

"Hey who's your friend?" Tootie asked.

"Oh, that's Grace," Timmy said. "She's uh... let's just say she's from up north. Like way up north."

"You're putting a lot on emphasis on the word up." Tootie said.

"Am I?" Timmy said. "I don't think I am."

"Well anyway, I have good news." Tootie said. "I got a job at a local animal shelter, so... I'm moving back here, like for good."

"Wow, that's great." Timmy said.

"And now that we're living near each other again, I was thinking maybe..." Tootie said. "Maybe we could, you know, get back together."

Timmy's smile faded instantly. "Oh, I um... Well I don't know."

"You don't know?" Tootie said. "Did... did you find someone else?"

"Well I um..." Timmy stuttered.

"Well I mean, we were broken up. It's fine if you found someone else. You know I'm not the jealous type." Tootie said. "We can just be friends."

"Well I'm kind of not sure, I..." Timmy said.

"It's that blond girl, right?" Tootie smiled. "Chloe something, the one you've been hanging out with for some time."

Timmy laughed. "Oh, I assure you, I am not dating Chloe Carmichael."

"Oh, hey guys." Chloe joined the group.

"And speaking of the Devil." Tootie joked. "You must be Chloe. I've heard a lot about you."

"You have?" Chloe said.

"I used to be Timmy's girlfriend." Tootie said.

"You did?" Chloe said, starting to blush.

"He's never told you about me?" Tootie said.

"Well like I said, Chloe and I are just friends." Timmy said.

"So, who are you dating?" Tootie asked.

"I'M NOT DATING ANYONE!!!!" Timmy snapped.

"I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin, I must confess I FEEL LIKE A MONSTER!!!!!" John Cooper (or Michael) sang the famous growling line from monster.

Suddenly the music cut out. Michal tapped the microphone with his finger. "Uh... hello?" Michael said. "Uh, I think we're experiencing some technical difficulties..." Then he noticed the room was silent. He turned to his bandmates who seemed to be frozen. He looked at his bandmate and wife Korey who was playing the drums. Her hair was sticking up in midair as her head was in the middle of whipping back and forth and her arm were raised about to strike her drums. He turned to the crowd to see that the fans had also frozen. Even liquids splashing from their glasses had frozen in midair.

Time had been frozen.

The arch angel Michael only knew a few beings with such power, and he had his doubts that Clockwork would be behind this.

"Hello brother." Came a voice from behind the rocker angel.

"Lucifer," Michael said. He turned to see his brother standing behind him. "It's been a while."

"Oh, you mean since you kicked me out of my own home," Lucifer said.

"You were about to destroy both Heaven and Earth," Michael replied, "I didn't want to do it, but you had to be stopped."

"Destroy? No, I wanted to save Heaven and Earth.' Lucifer said. "Look around you Mike. You can't tell me you don't see the flaws, the glitches. The system needs to be rebooted and you know it. But you and the big guy couldn't bare the thought that this perfect program was flawed."

"Well you are the one who tempted Adam and Eve." Michael pointed out.

"I was simply revealing the bugs. I was debugging." Lucifer said. "A concept you, Dad, Gabe, and sweet little Jesus don't seem to get."

"God granted mankind free will. It's not a bug." Michael said. "But come on brother, this was over 4 trillion years ago."

"Well this has been a long time coming then." Lucifer said. Then his pitch fork materialized in his hands. "I've got mine. Do you have yours?"

Michael flipped a switch on his guitar. The neck of the guitar detached from the body and formed into a mighty sword.

"What did the humans call it?" Lucifer said, looking at Michael's sword, "Excalibur."

"Don't do this man, not here." Michael begged. "There are hundreds of innocent bystanders who will die if we fight now."

"Oh, don't worry, I just wanted to see you." Lucifer said. "Our rematch will have to wait. As you can see, my weapon is not yet whole."

"Three prongs missing." Michael pointed out. "You know you're going to have to cause a lot of damage to get those back. Where they are, you'll need to hurt a lot of innocent beings."

"You think I care?" Lucifer said. "In case you forgot, I'm the Devil."

"Our pasts don't need to define us Lucifer." Michael said. "You don't have to be the monster, the lord of darkness. You can still be the light bringer."

"Still hanging onto the concept of good and evil, eh Mike." Lucifer taunted. "In any case, I can say that redhead's not so innocent. And one of my prongs happens to be in her spine. I'm sure even you won't object to me de-spining the "evil babysitter""

"Vicky has made a lot of bad choices, that's true." Michael said. "But even she has the right to live. Besides, I don't know if you're aware, but as of late Vicky has been setting off on a path of righteousness, atoning for her past sins."

"That's a laugh." Lucifer said. "Not sure if you're aware but... as we speak, that Vicky girl is drinking herself to death, with my girl Greed."

"Vicky Miller's time will come one day, but not tonight." Michael said. "And she will not die by her own hands."

"Well what about mine?" Lucifer said. Then he vanished and time resumed.

"Alright..." Michael said into the mike. "Onto out next song, another fan favorite. Not gonna die."

The crowd cheered.

...

Vicky swayed back and forth. Her eyes were bloodshot from tears, and snot ran down her nose. Her lips were blue, and she was shivering.

"Just a little more." Greed smiled.

"What... where am I?" Vicky said. She could no longer tell what was going on. She could barely even think as her brain was starting to shut down.

She tried to grab the next glass of boos but all she could do was lazily flap her arm around on the table.

Greed took it upon herself to pour the drink down Vicky's throat.

Suddenly the sound of flapping wings was heard.

"Oh fuck!" Greed snarled. "I really hate that sound."

In the middle of the room, the brown-haired girl in the pink sweater had appeared.

"Vicky?" Grace said. "What the heck is going on?"

"Well hello Grace." Greed said.

"You? What the heck are you doing to that poor girl you demon!" Grace demanded.

"Just showing her a good time." Greed smirked.

Grace walked up to Vicky. "She doesn't look like she's having a good time." Grace looked Vicky in the eyes. "Vicky, can you hear me?"

"Wha.... Who's Vicky?" Vicky said.

"You're Vicky." Grace said.

"And who are you?" Vicky asked.

"I'm Grace, I'm your friend remember." Grace said. "I'm an angel."

Vicky's head plopped on the table.

"Vicky?" Grace shook her to wake her up. "Vicky come on wake up."

Grace turned to Greed. "What did you do?"

"Pumped her full of boos." Greed replied. "Funny how humans are just so quick to poison themselves."

Vicky grabbed Grace by the arm. "Wait... Page... no..."

"It's Grace." Grace said.

"Ok Stacy." Vicky slurred. "The green haired girl, sheesh.... Sheesh a demon."

"Come on let's get you out of here." Grace said.

"I'm stuck to this chair." Vicky explained. "is a spell."

Greed pushed her hand toward Grace and Vicky. An invisible shockwave shot out of Greed's hand. The shockwave shattered the counter and threw Grace and Vicky across the room.

"You know, back in Hell, they called me the green dragon." Greed said, walking toward the two girls. "Care to see why." Then Greed made a deep, beastly growling noise. Her pupils turned to slits, like that of a reptile, her teeth sharpened to fangs, sharp black claws grew from her fingertips, then leathery reptilian wings grew from her back.

"Oh fuck!" Grace said, getting to her feet.

Geed took a deep breath, puffing out her chest. Then she spat out a blast of green fire from her mouth.

Grace held onto Vicky tight, her angelic wings extended from her body and wrapped around her and Vicky. The feathery wings blocked the green fire like a knight's shield.

Grace opened her wings and got to her feet. Her bow materialized in her hand. She aimed her bow at the demon. But Greed shot another invisible shockwave from her hand and blasted grace against a wall.

Greed stepped over Vicky who was lying on the floor, barely conscious. Greed's heels clicked on the floor as she walked.

Grace aimed her hand at Greed. Pink threads from the sleeve of her sweater unrevealed and shot out at the demon wrapping around her body.

"Easy now, you don't want to hurt anyone." Grace said, trying to calm the demon.

Greed flexed her arms and shredded the threads holding her. The threads retreated back into Grace's arms.

"That psychic yarn trick may work on humans." Greed said. "But I don't have the ability to love. Those kind of tricks are useless on me."

Then Grace swung her bow at Greed and slugged her right in the face.

"You little brat!" Greed said. Then she slashed at Grace with her claws and cut into the angel's face. Golden blood splattered on the floor.

Just then Chloe walked in. "Vicky are you in here? Things got a little awkward with Timmy and your sister. So, I thought I would come find you. Some other girl was looking for..." Then she saw Grace and Geed duking it out. "What in the world?"

Greed slammed grace into a table. Then she turned her attention to Chloe, a Satanic smile full of razor-sharp teeth spread across the demon's face. Greed again growled like a hungry crocodile.

"Oh, heck no!" Chloe said, then she turned and ran out the door.

Greed stuck out her hand in Chloe's direction. The young blond felt an invisible force grab her and yank her back into the bar. Chloe flew into the doorway and smacked against the far wall.

"Ow." Chloe moaned as she slid to the floor.

Greed made her way to Chloe.

"Pease don't eat me Mrs. Dragon lady," Chloe begged, "I don't taste very good!"

Then an arrow shot through Greed's back and came out of her chest.

Greed grabbed the arrow and pulled it from her flesh. A black sludge-like substance that was the demon's blood oozed from the wound.

"Chloe get out of here!" Grace demanded.

"Hey, you're that girl who was talking to Timmy." Chloe said. "Why do you have wings? Are you a fairy or something?"

"Something like that." Grace replied. Then Greed hit Grace with an uppercut, sending her flying into the ceiling. Grace slammed into the ceiling, then fell to the ground.

That's when Chloe noticed Vicky on the ground. "Vicky?" She went over to her and tried to wake her up. "Hey, you okay? Come on get up." She turned Vicky over to see her lips had turned blue, her face was pale, and her eyes stared blankly. She was still breathing, but just barely.

"Oh no, we gotta get you to a hospital." Chloe said. "And away from whatever those creatures are. It is much too dangerous for you in this vulnerable state."

Chloe tried to pick Vicky up. Vicky was about the same height as Chloe and was a rather thin woman. However, lifting her was harder than it seemed.

"For such a tiny woman, you're heavier than you look." Chloe gowned. Of course, Chloe was no body builder herself. So, she just decided to lift Vicky by the shoulders and drag her across the ground

Just before Chloe reached the door, Greed shot a blast of green fire at Chloe. The flames just barely missed Chloe as she ducked out of the way.

Chloe took her phone out of her pocket to call 911. Suddenly the phone was telekinetically ripped from Chloe's hand. Greed caught the phone and crushed it in her claws.

Chloe held the barely conscious Vicky tightly as she started to cower in fear.

"Is this how it ends?" Chloe whimpered.

Then Grace jumped onto Greed's back.

Chloe turned her attention to the doorway, hoping to make to dash for the exit while the strange creatures where distracted. Unfortunately, the doorway was blocked by the unearthly green flames.

Grace was again thrown to the ground. Greed stomped on the angel's throat with her high heel shoes.

Then Greed knelt down and grabbed Grace's face. She dug her clawed thumbs into Grace's eyes. Grace screamed in pain as golden blood ran down her face.

Greed pulled her thumbs out of Grace's eyes. Then she started to repeatedly smash the angel's head into the floor.

"Oh, maybe I should help." Chloe pondered. "What do you think Vicky?"

Vicky didn't respond.

"Oh right." Chloe realized. Then she picked up a bottle from the ground and threw it at the demon.

Greed didn't even flinch. She was now punching Grace in the face over and over again.

Suddenly Chloe felt an invisible force wrap around her throat and start choking her. Chloe chocked and coughed, she tried to grab at whatever was choking her, but nothing was there.

The blows hit Grace fast and hard, a puddle of golden blood formed around her body.

...

After finishing a song, John Cooper excused himself and walked off stage. He walked up to Ember who was standing just off stage.

"You what's the deal?" Ember asked. "Is the show over?"

"Actually, I would like to borrow your guitar." John said.

"Why? Is something wrong with yours?" Ember asked.

"Let's just say, I think someone needs it more than I do." John said.

"Sure, I guess" Ember handed John her guitar. John took Ember's guitar, and his own guitar magically vanished.

"What the?" Ember said.

John walked back on stage.

"Alright." John said. "So, in the start of the evening, Ember McClain did a beautiful cover of our song Stars. So, I think it only appropriate that we close the night by covering her song. This is Remember, by Ember McClain."

John started to sing. "It was, it was September. Winds blown the dead leaves fall. To you, I did surrender. Two weeks you didn't call."

Ember gave a half-smile as John sung her song.

"Your life, goes on without me." The angel Michael, disguised as John Cooper continued to sing. "My life, a losing game. But you should, you should not doubt me. You will remember my name. ooohh Ember, you will remember."

As he hit the chorus, massive angel wings sprouted from his back. The crowd cheered, obviously assuming the angel wings to be a special affect.

...

Greed continued beating grace with savage ferocity, all while choking Chloe with her mind.

Suddenly a sword materialized in Grace's hand.

Grace quickly shoved the blade of the sword through Greed's stomach.

Greed got off of Grace and fell to her knees, a look of shock and surprise on her face. Grace stood up; her face was completely pulverized. Her lips were swollen, and golden blood oozed from her mouth, her right eye could barely open and her left eye was completely swollen shut. Her lower jaw was broken and dislocated.

"I'm really, really sorry about this." Grace said with sincerity. Then she swung the sword and lobbed Greed's head clean off. Yellow and orange sparks crackled from the demon's body, and black blood sprayed from the hole where her head used to be. Greed's head landed on the ground and bounced a few times. With each bounce making a sickening splat like a giant wet meatball landing on the kitchen floor.

Greed's headless corpse fell limp to the ground, her wings and claws still twitching. Grace's face and sweater were now drenched in black blood. The sword in Grace's hand vanished.

Grace walked over to Vicky and Chloe.

"We... we need to get her to a hospital." Chloe said.

"I got it..." Grace said. She pressed her hand to Vicky's forehead. Her hand started to glow.

Vicky shot up with a gasp. The color instantly returned to her face and lips.

"What? What did you do?" Chloe asked.

Grace fell to her knees. She grabbed her own lower jaw and popped it back into place.

"Um... are you ok?" Chloe said.

Grace's wounds started to heal rapidly. Within less than a minute the swelling on her mouth and eyes had completely gone down. Now the only sign of injury to her face was a couple of dark circles under her eyes.

"Wow you are a fast healer." Chloe said.

Grace grabbed Vicky and Chloe by the shoulders, and they suddenly teleported to Timmy's apartment.

Grace stood up. Her wings tucked back into her body. Vicky calmly sat on the couch.

"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?!?!" Chloe shouted, overwhelmed with confusion. "What was that back there? How did we get here so fast? Who are you? What are you?"

Grace plopped down on the recliner and told Chloe everything.

"... And the dragon lady was a demon, one of the seven deadly sins, Greed to be exact. And finally, I have no idea where that sword came from. It just showed up in my hand, and I used it." Grace concluded.

"Angels? Demons? Does this mean Heaven is real?" Chloe said. "gasp! Is Hell real too? And which one am I going too? I really don't wanna go to Hell."
"Hell is only for the worst of humanity." Grace replied. "and Heaven is for the best. Most people fall in the middle and end up in what you call the Ghost Zone. Unfortunately, the Ghost Zone was recently taken over by Satan and the forces of Hell. Does that answer your question?"

"So, if the Ghost zone was consumed by Hell," Chloe said. "That means a lot of innocent souls are stuck down there. Can't we do something about that? I mean, you're an actual angel."

"I was so close to death tonight..." Vicky said quietly.

"Tonight, was never to be your time my dear," Came a voice. "But still Death is closer than you think, in a way."

The group looked to see Vicky's new cat Schrodinger sitting before them.

"Aw a kitty!" Chloe gushed.

Suddenly the cat began to change shape. Turning into shadows and growing into a tall dark figure. The being took the form of a man.

The man was tall. He had on a dark black suit. He had a long face with dark eyes and a dark black beard. His jet-black hair grew down to his shoulder. In his right hand, the man held a large scythe.

"greetings sister." The man said to grace. "It's a pleasure to see you again."

"Hello Death." Grace said to the man.
