Chapter 4: The Devil Went Down to Amity Park

It started with the explosion of Fenton labs. After that fallowed reports of what looked like a Massive bird in the skies of Amity Park.

In the wake of these events something was off. The citizens of Amity had a constant uneasy feeling. The sense of evil was in the air.

At the Guys in white headquarters, somewhere in the desserts of Nevada an artifact was brought into the station and locked in a maximum-security vault.

"So, what is it?" One of the agents asked. "Some kind of ghost weapon."

"No more powerful than that." Another agent replied. "It is the weapon of a fallen arch angel. Of Lucifer himself."

Then the alarms went off.

"Speaking of the devil."

The Guys in White gathered by the front door, anti-ghost ray guns at the ready.

The doors flung open and a man stepped in.

The man was tall and physically fit. He had dirty blond hair and blond stubble. He had a red leather jacket with flames painted on the cuffs and bottom. He had blue jeans and working boots.

"I see you got a welcome party going." The man said. "Now I understand that you have something that belongs to me."

"Identify yourself." One of the Guys in White ordered. "And state your business."

"Well my name is Lucifer." The man said. "I am also known as the Devil, Satan, The Beast, leader of the sulfury void, Prince of Darkness, the Light Bringer, the big fiery red demon guy, The Crimson King, and the beast with many names each more terrifying than the last."

The guys in white looked at each other.

Lucifer continued. "The reason I am hear is mainly to get some sweet, sweet revenge on all those responsible for my fall from grace. Which is a pretty ironic way to phrase it as one of the beings on my hit list as actually named Grace. As well as my brothers Michael and Gabriel, and a few others.

"If you're really the Devil..." One of the guys said. "Why are you telling us this? I thought you were supposed to be some great deceiver. Why would you just admit to being Satan?"

"Usually I would lie." Lucifer said. "I am very good at that. Father of all lies here, I can make anyone believe anything, I can even make that guy think he's a chicken. But I heard about you whack jobs over here hunting ghosts and thought it would just be hilarious to see the looks on your faces when I introduce myself."

"So, what now?" One of the Guys asked

"Well..." Lucifer said. "Now you all die." His eyes started to glow red, and gigantic angel wings grew from his back. He shot a blast of light from his hand that hit one of the Guys in White. The Guy that was hit exploded, his blood and guts flying in every direction.

"OPEN FIRE!!!!" One of the Guys yelled. Then they all started shooting plasma blasts at Lucifer.

Lucifer created a shield of light that blocked the plasma blasts. The blasts bounced off of Lucifer's light shield and ricocheted back at the guys in white. Lucifer made his way to the crowd. He spun around, his massive wings swinging about the room and cutting many of the Guys in white in half, painting the floor red with blood.

He waved his hand sending a group of Guys flying with telekinetic powers. The Guys slammed against a wall breaking their spines and necks.

Lucifer grabbed another guy by the throat snapping his neck instantly, then throwing the corps into the crowed.

The Guys in White started to retreat as the Devil made his way further into the base.

"Wait, this is what you want isn't it?" A guy asked, holding the reality gauntlet. A device powerful enough to change reality.

Lucifer took the gauntlet, then stabbed it into the guy's face. He snapped his fingers and the guy, and the gauntlet exploded into a red mist.

"No." Lucifer said. "But the MCU called, they would like their Magoffin back." Lucifer made his way to the deepest part of the base. There he found a Massive vault sealed tight. Two guards stood in front.

"We can't let you in here." One of the guards said.

Lucifer waved his hand and the guard went flying. He turned to the other guard and placed his hand on the man's forehead.

The guard quaked in fear.

"You know why the call me the Light Bringer?" Lucifer asked.

The guard shook his head.

"Because I can control all wavelengths of light." Lucifer said. "Most people think I control darkness. You know the whole dark is bad and light is good thing. I guess you could say I control darkness in some way, but really darkness isn't evil. Actually, darkness isn't anything. Literally darkness is nothing, it's the lack of something, the lack of light. Light isn't good or evil either, light is simply power. Of course, I never believed in the concept of good and evil. Now you've heard of gamma radiation I take it. Well did you know that gamma radiation is a from of light? And do you know what gamma radiation can do to a human body? Especially if it's say... pressed up against a human's forehead."

Lucifer's hand started to glow blue. The guard screamed in pain. Tumors started to grow out of the guard's skin all over his body, and blood started pouring from his mouth. His skin started to melt, and the tumors stated growing bigger and bigger. After a few moments he no longer looked like a man. He was now just a blob of throbbing cancerous flesh.

The guard fell to the ground with a splat. Lucifer looked down at the squirming pile of flesh in a pool of blood.

He then used telekinesis to rip the vault open. There he saw what he was looking for. His weapon, a 6-prong pitch fork

He picked it up the rusty old pitch fork, and the rust crumbled off, revealing the shiny metal underneath. The pitch fork was entirely made of metal. It was an angelic metal, forged in heaven during the creation of the universe. In the beginning each of the arch angels were given their own weapon. Lucifer had a pitch fork, and Michael, Lucifer's brother had a flaming sword. The angelic metal was nearly invulnerable. The only thing that could break Lucifer's pitch fork was the forces of heaven itself. Or the force of falling from Heaven to earth.

Rage filled Lucifer as he realized three of the 6 prongs where missing.

"WHAT THE FUCK!!!!" Lucifer yelled. "My damn fork is broken."

He turned his gaze to the cancer ridden guard on the ground.
"Do you know what this means?" Lucifer said, even though the guard couldn't reply. "Without all 6 prongs, my pitch fork won't be at full power. I can't get my revenge with only half a pitch fork!"

A mass of energy exploded from Lucifer's body. The energy swallowed the entire base and became a nuclear explosion that dwarfed the bombs dropped on Japan in Word War 2.

In many anime shows, the super powered characters would name there moves. The explosion power that Lucifer had he liked to call "The Supernova".

Lucifer stood in a massive creator, clenching his pitch fork in rage.

"So, where the home is the rest of my pitch fork." Lucifer grumbled. Luckily for him, he knew a being who may just have the answer.

Lucifer disappeared with the sound of flapping wings.

...

Lucifer stood outside the realms of Space and time, before a being called Yog Sathoth. Yog Sathoth appeared as a massive mountain of pulsating flesh, eyeballs, tentacles, and glowing orbs.

Lightning flashed in the swirling void as Lucifer's wings flowed in the wind.

Yog Sathoth was a being who was one of the few beings of the universe who was all knowing. Nothing was kept secret from Yog Sathoth.

Yog Sathoth took no sides. He's basically the Google of the universe.

"Oh, great Yog Sathoth." Lucifer said. "I seek your guidance."

"Enough with the formalities fallen one." Yog Sathoth said. "You can simply call me Yog."

"What the fuck happened to my fork?" Lucifer said, holding up his pitch fork.

"When you fell from Heaven, your weapon broken as it entered the earths atmosphere." Yog explained. "Also, when you landed on earth... the impact killed he dinosaurs."

"Well boo fucking who." Lucifer said. "Where are the missing prongs?"

"I know where nearly everything in the universe is..." Yog said. "But I don't know where your manners are!"

Lucifer stuck his middle finger at Yog Sathoth.

"Ugh fine." Yog said. "The first prong WAS on the bottom of Marianas Trench."

"Was?"

"It was recovered by a human explorer." Yog said. "Then, through some crazy mishap was surgically implanted into the back of a 14-year-old girl named Vicky."

"Who's the retard that put a piece of the Devil's pitchfork into the spine of a teenager?" Lucifer asked.

"A doctor by the name of Dumbass." Yog explained.

"Well he's got the right name." Lucifer said. "So where is this Vicky person."

"Vicky now 26." Yog said. "Is in the company of Danny Phantom. As well as... wait for it, the Angel called Grace."

"Grace?" Lucifer said. "Well isn't that something."

"I understand she fought with Michael to cast you out of Heaven." Yog said.

"I had my brother dead to rights." Lucifer growled. "Just before I could stab him in the face, that little brat shoots me with one of her little arrows. Then Michael got back to his feet and threw me to Hell. So where are the other two Prongs?"

"The second prong is in a place known as Fairy World." Yog said.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Lucifer erupted in laughter. "Yog, buddy I knew you had a sense of humor but... Fairy World? Come on where is it really?"

"I speak the truth." Yog said. "Fairy world is indeed a real place."

"So, I go in and slaughter a bunch of fucking fairies." Lucifer said. "Sounds easier than taking candy from a cherub."

"Most fairies are nothing to your power." Yog said. "But be warned, for there is one fairy who can even match you. A being known as Jorgen Von Strangle."

"I'll keep my eye out for 'em." Lucifer said. "What about the third one? Come on Yog, an incomplete pitch fork isn't going to do much against Michael's sword. And that is a real sword you know, not like a metaphor or something."

"I know of Michael's sword." Yog replied.

"Man can you imagine if the Michael sword was like... just some guy or something?" Lucifer joked. "Like it was just some guy that Michael had to possess or something. Like some douchebag on the streets scarfing down pies, driving an Impala, and thinking he's some kind of Rockstar."

"That would be pretty dumb." Yog replied.

"Yeah you expect a huge flaming sword and it's just some guy." Lucifer laughed. "But anyway, the third prong?"

"The third prong is in the deepest pit of Hell." Yog said.

"Huh, my own back yard the entire time." Lucifer said.

"Not exactly." Yog said. "It is in the cage."

"What cage?" Lucifer asked. "Hell has millions of cages."

"The one in the deepest pit, among the Lake of Fire." Yog replied. "The cage which holds the mighty Nyarlathotep."

"Aww man!" Lucifer moaned. "I hate that guy, he's such a prick!"

"Yeah because you're such a joy to be around." Yog remarked sarcastically.

"Me and the fam trapped Nyarlathotep in the great pit many years before my fall." Lucifer explained. "It was just at the dawn of creation. Nyarlathotep was one of the few beings in all of creation that hunted and ate angels. He is also super annoying."

"Then I suggest you be very careful when getting your prong from Nyarlathotep's cage" Yog explained.

"I guess I'll save that one for last." Lucifer said. He turned around and ran into a small grey alien with a pair shaped body and a huge head. "Who the me are you?"

"Name's Roger." The alien said. "Are you done here. Because I need to ask the scary flesh mountain a question."

"Uh yeah, go ahead." Lucifer replied.

"Hey, Yog." Roger said. "I have this ach in my neck, what's up with that?"

"That is from having poor posture." Yog replied. "Maybe you should visit a chiropractor. Also remember to drink plenty of water and eat lots of fruits and vegetables."

...

Grace held a fidget spinner between her fingers and watched in amazement as it spun and spun.

"Uh Grace, can I talk to you?" Danny said.

"It just keeps going and going." Grace said. "Oh, wait it's slowing down." She gave the spinner another spin.

The group had gone to a souvenir shop near town.

"About this Vicky person." Danny said. "Look it's great you wanna help but... Did you really need to invite her to hang out with us? I mean we don't even know her."

"What? can't I make more friends?" Grace said.

"I guess, but is Vicky really the kind of person you want as a friend?" Danny asked. "She's even admitted to having done some shady things in the past."

"Admitting you're a sinner is the first step in the path of redemption." Grace replied. "She's in pain, and I can help."

"Well you are the 100-million-year-old angel." Danny replied. "Far be it for me to tell you what to do."

"100 million years and still young." Grace smiled.

Grace walked back to her car where Vicky was sleeping in the back seat.

"Hey Vicky!" Grace said.

Vicky woke with a start. "GAH! What?"

"You ever have this stuff called ice cream?" Grace asked. "Its like this frozen sugary milk that..."

"Yeah I've had ice cream!" Vicky snapped. "I don't live under a rock."

"Grace..." Sam interrupted. "Most humans on the planet have had ice cream."

"Oh..." Grace said. "Shall we go get some then?"

"Weren't you going to be helping me with my... you know..." Vicky asked.

"Suicidal depression?" Grace replied.

"Do you have to say that out loud?" Vicky asked.

"Isn't this helping?" Grace asked. "Hanging out with new friends?"

"Are we hanging out? Or are you kidnapping me?" Vicky asked.

"You can leave any time." Sam said. "The bridge is back that way."

Danny and Grace gave Sam a look of shock. Sam shrugged.

"Fine, let's get some stupid ice cream." Vicky growled.

"Oh... ok." Grace said shyly as she got back into the driver's seat.

"Hey Vicky?" Danny asked. "That kid you wronged all those years ago, what was his name?"

"Timmy Turner." Vicky replied.

"I bet Tucker can help us find this Timmy person." Sam suggested.

"Tucker? Grace asked.

"He's... an old friend." Danny replied.

"Oh... Is that Tucker over there?" Grace asked, pointing to a squirrel.

"No that's a squirrel." Sam replied.

"Tucker is a human." Danny replied. "After I saved the world from that meteor, Tucker became the mayor of Amity Park."

"Do we really need to find Timmy?" Vicky asked. "I highly doubt he wants to see me."

"What better way to face your past, than to face those who you have wronged?" Grace replied.

"She's right." Sam replied. "Burry the hatchet with Timmy, you might feel better."

"Hatchet?" Grace asked. "You're not planning to kill Timmy with a Hatchet, are you?"

"It's just an expression Grace." Danny said. "There is no actual hatchet."

"Oh."

"Ok is she from Mars something?" Vicky asked. "I mean Fenton's half ghost, right? I guess an alien wouldn't be totally out of the question."

"No, she's actually an angel." Danny said.

"Well I guess she's pretty nice but..." Vicky said.

"No, we mean Grace is an ACTUAL angel." Sam replied. "Like from Heaven. A servant of God."

"So, she got any wings?" Vicky asked.

"What?" Grace replied.

"Don't angels have wings?" Vicky asked.

"Oh, yeah I have wings." Grace replied.

"Show them to me." Vicky requested.

"Here?" Grace said. "In a public place?"

"Well there's not many people here." Danny pointed out.

"Do you have to take of your sweater to show them to me?" Vicky asked.

"Well no." Grace replied. "They can phase through the sweater. But it's still kind of..."

"It's not like you're showing me your genitals." Vicky said. "Wait, your wings aren't genitals, are they? I don't really know how angel biology works."

"Of course not!" Grace said. She got out of the care, and Vicky fallowed.

"Come on angel girl." Vicky said. "Let's see those wings."

"Grace you don't have to do this if you don't want to..." Sam said.

Then Grace's wings extended from her back, the white feathers shining in the sunlight. A couple people passing by stopped and looked, their jaws dropping. A few people who were holding drinks dropped them, spilling their beverages on the ground.

"Sweet!" Vicky said. "So, can you fly?"

"Y-yeah..." Grace said, her face growing pink as she looked around her while people stared.

"I... I'm sorry." Vicky said, realizing how embarrassed Grace was. "I'm sorry for making you do that. Let's get out of here."

"I just got off the phone with Tucker." Danny interrupted. "He said Timmy Turner is enrolled in Danny Phantom University right here in town."

...

The group stood in front of a house just outside the campus.

"Tucker said this is the place." Danny said. "Apparently this Timmy guy rented this place out with two of his friends."

"We should probably go..." Vicky said.

"Come on Vicky." Grace said. "You need to face your past in order to move forward.

Vicky rang the doorbell. A young man answered the door. He had a slim build of average height with brown hair and blue eyes. He had a pink T-shirt blue jeans and a pink baseball cap.

"Vicky?" The young man said.

"Oh uh... hi Timmy." Vicky said.

"What are you doing here?" Timmy asked.

"Oh, I uh... was in the neighborhood and um..." Vicky stammered.

"I'm 20 years old, I don't need a babysitter anymore." Timmy said. "And I don't have any kids that need sitting. Even if I did have kids, there is no way in Hell I would ever hire a fucking psycho like you to look after them. So, tell me what you want and get the fuck off of my property."

"Um ouch." Vicky said. "I um... I actually came to apologize."

"Apologize?"

"Yeah all that stuff I did to you when we were younger." Vicky started. "It was wrong of me. I... I did a lot of things I can never take back. I really wish I could take it back, but I can't. I know you can't forgive me, but you should know that... I'm sorry. Also I quit babysitting years ago, just an FYI"

Timmy gave a half smile. "Ah, Vicky don't worry you're cool, I forgive you."

"Seriously?" Vicky said.

"Yeah." Timmy said. "Who you got with you? Wait, is that Danny Phantom?"

"Yep that's Danny Phantom." Vicky said.

Timmy walked up to Danny.

"Wow I have always wanted to meet you." Timmy said shaking Danny's hand.

"Well I guess today's your lucky day." Danny said.

"How about you and your friends come in." Timmy said. "After you've saved the world, the least I can do is get you a drink."

"What about me?" Vicky asked.

"Well if your friends with Danny Phantom." Timmy said. "You must have changed for the better."

The group headed into Timmy's house.

"Me and my friends Chester and AJ pooled our money together to rent this frat house" Timmy explained. "I should warn you to stay away from Chester's room. To say it's messy would be an understatement."

Danny's phone started to ring.

"Hold on a sec, I gotta take this." Danny said, answering his phone. "Hello Mom? Wait slow down I can't understand you. Wait are you crying? Oh... OH MY GOD!"

Danny hung the phone up. "Guys there's been an accident back at the house. Jazz is in the hospital."

"What? What happened?" Sam asked.

"I don't know, Mom said there was some kind of explosion." Danny explained.

"Wait I'm lost here." Vicky said. "Who's Jazz?"

"My sister." Danny explained.

"Come on, I can get you there." Grace said. "Vicky you stay here. I'll take these two to the hospital, then I'll be right back."

Grace put her hands on the shoulders of Danny and Sam. The three of them vanished.

"What the heck was that?" Timmy said.

"I don't think you'd believe me if I told you." Vicky replied.

"Well I'm sure it's not fairies." Timmy said. "Everyone knows fairies don't exist." He gave a nervous glance and a couple of pink and green text books on a table nearby.

...

"What happened?" Danny asked his mother once he appeared in the hospital.

"Where the heck did, he come from?" Said the doctor who was also in the hospital room.

"Something came out of the ghost zone." Maddie, Danny's mother said. "Whatever it was it blew up the house while your sister was still inside. She had on the armor from the Fenton peeler which protected her from the initial blast, but her body was soaked in radiation."

"Radiation?" Danny said.

"Hey I know you." The doctor said. "Your Danny Phantom. The ghost boy. Why us in the medical field have hypothesized so much about you. With your consent, I would love to study you. You will not be harmed of course."

Danny ignored the doctor. He walked over to Jazz's bedside. She was lying in the bed asleep. Her skin was really pale. Her orange hair stood out much more against her now ghostly white skin.

"Jazz?" Danny whispered.

Jazz opened her eyes. "Danny?"

"What happened?" Danny asked.

"These girls..." Jazz coughed. "They came to the house and asked to see the portal. I think they were ghosts. They opened the portal and something came out."

"What came out?" Danny asked.

"Danny let your sister rest." Maddy explained.

Danny turned to the doctor. "What's wrong with her. Is this... Is this like what happened to me?"

"I'm afraid not." The doctor said. "From what information has been made public about you, I can tell you that what gave you your powers was ecto-energy. a very little understood form of radiation that exists in the Ghost Zone. But what your sister was exposed to is something much more dangerous. Pure gamma radiation, the kind of stuff created in a nuclear blast."

"Is she going to be ok?" Danny asked.

"We're doing the best we can." The doctor said. "But right now, I'd say her chances are 50/50."

"Please doc. I don't wanna lose her." Danny pleaded.

"Like I said, 50/50." The doctor repeated. "Now about doing tests on you. I mean just imagine how much we can learn from someone who is half ghost!"

"Fuck off doc." Danny scowled.

"DANNY!" Maddie shouted.

"Where's Dad?" Danny asked.

"He's in the hallway." Maddie replied.

Danny went out to the hallway to find his father who was sitting on a bench with his face in his hands.

"Dad?" Danny said. "You ok?"

"It's all my fault Danny." Jack said. "I let those things into the house, and now my little girl is dying."

"Jazz said there was a couple of ghost girls?" Danny said.

Jack looked his son in the eyes. "Not ghosts Danny, demons."

"Demons?"

"And that thing that came out of the portal." Jack said. "It was Lucifer himself."

"Lucifer?" Danny said. "Like, as in Satan?"

"That's right." Jack said. "And I knew this day would come. Ever since I started studying ghosts, I knew there was something even more powerful beyond our world. Something that will come get us. Danny, these things are unlike anything you've ever faced."

"I know." Danny said. "I had a run in with a demon the other day. Guy named Zozo. He was stronger than anything I've ever seen. Thank God Grace was there to save me."

"Grace?" Jack said.

Grace then joined the two of them. "Hey, I suppose you're Mr. Fenton."

"Grace is um..." Danny said. "Well she's an angel. Like a literal angel from Heaven. Grace show him."

Grace's wings appeared from her back and stretched out. Her body started to glow in a heavenly light.

"Well if we have an angel on our side." Jack said. "We might just have a shot. But Danny, I don't want you to go hunting Lucifer down. No matter what happens to your sister, a fight against the Devil is one even you can't win. If the worst happens and we lose Jazz, I don't want to lose you too."

"Well with Grace by my side. Maybe I can take that red pointy horned creep." Danny said.

"Your Dad's right." Grace said. "I may be strong, but Lucifer is an arch angel. I've been afraid of him since I was a little girl. And that was literally millions of years ago."

"He's a fallen angel." Danny pointed out. "Wouldn't that make him less powerful."

"He's no longer associated with Heaven, but he still has all his angelic powers." Grace said. "What happened to your sister. That was GAMMA rays. No other angel in Heaven can control gamma radiation. You know how in fiction every magic system has that one super powerful dark magic that's forbidden because it's so powerful and evil? Well for angels that dark magic is gamma radiation. Also, real dark magic, Lucifer also uses actual dark magic, which happens to create MORE gamma radiation."

"Wait what." Danny said, now more confused than anything.

"Oh yeah, dark magic is highly radioactive." Grace said. "Which is funny because radiation is a from of light. They don't call him the light bringer for nothing."

"Plus, you don't even know where Lucifer is anyway." Sam interrupted.

"Well I want you to stay safe." Jack said. "Find a way to lay low until we can find a way to stop Lucifer."

"Well what does Lucifer even want anyway?" Sam asked.

"This is Satan we're talking about." Jack replied. "The lord of all evil. No doubt he wants to bring chaos and ruin."

"Well I don't want to sound like I'm defending Satan or anything." Sam said. "After what he did to Jazz, he's clearly not nice. But what do we really know about Lucifer?"

"He's evil." Danny said. "And is like, I don't know, red with pointy horns, a tail, and a pitch fork."

Grace giggled.

"I was very young when Lucifer fell." Grace said. "But from what I remember, the only thing you got right is the pitch fork."

"So, he's not red?" Danny said.

"I don't think so." Grace said. "Of course, it has been a very long time since I've seen him. But I don't remember him looking anything like what you see in cartoons."

"Well I do know he fell because he rebelled against God." Sam said. "As far as what he would want or where he would go..."

"His first step would probably be to find his fork." Grace said.

"So what? Is he going to eat some demonic spaghetti?" A voice came from behind them.

They turned to see who it was.

"TUCKER!" Danny and Sam both said when they saw their old friend.

"Hey Danny." Tucker said, "Sam, I heard about what happened to Jazz, I came as soon as I could. Did I hear you guys talking about the Devil?"

"Uh yeah." Danny said. "As it turns out, the Devil is real, and so are Hell, Angels and Demons."

"And Heaven." Grace added.

"Oh, and who is this lovely young lady?" Tucker asked greeting Grace.

"This is Grace." Danny introduced. "She's um... I know this is going to sound crazy but... she's an angel."

"Well she sure does look heavenly." Tucker smiled.

"No, we mean she's an ACTUAL angel." Sam explained. "As in she came from heaven."

"Oh." Tucker said. "Guys I don't want to sound rude but... And I know I help you fight ghosts. But angels? Demons? The Devil? That all seems a little far-fetched."

Grace tenderly grabbed Tucker's hand. "Look into my eyes."

Tucker looked into the angel's eyes. The entire world melted away into a pink haze. Grace's eyes started to glow blue.

Grace let go of Tucker's hand, and the young man was speechless.

"Hey buddy you ok?" Grace said, snapping her fingers. Tucker shook his head.

"I... I think I just saw the face of God." Tucker stammered.

"No not really." Grace said. "Close though."

"What was that?" Danny asked.

"You know the Ghost rider's Penance Stare?" Grace replied. "Well that was the exact opposite. I gave him a glimpse of Heaven."

"Did you hurt him?" Danny asked.

"Guys I'm fine." Tucker said.

"See he's just fine." Grace said.

...

Back at Timmy's place. Vicky was sitting on the couch while Timmy sat on a recliner next to her.

"I'm really, really sorry." Vicky sobbed. "I'm so sorry."

"Yeah, you've been apologizing for about an hour now." Timmy replied. "I get it, you're sorry. At this point it's kind of getting annoying."

Vicky berried her face into pillow and cried harder.

"Hey, Vicky it's ok." Timmy said. "Look, I turned out just fine see."

Vicky puled her face from the pillow to look Timmy in the eyes.

"I've had a pretty good life so far." Timmy said. "And I'm sure to continue having a good life for years to come. What you did to me, that was years ago, I've moved on."

Vicky sniffed and wiped the tears from her face.

"So, uh..." Timmy said. "How long have you known Danny Phantom."

"I just met him this morning." Vicky replied. "He... he saved me."

"From what?" Timmy said.

"That's kind of personal." Vicky said.

"No wait let me guess." Timmy said. "It was Skulker right?"

"No."

"Ember MacLaine." Timmy guessed again. "Technus? The Fright Knight?"

"No." Vicky replied again.

"The Box Ghost?" Timmy said.

"I was trying to kill myself." Vicky said. "I tried to jump off a bridge until Danny saved me."

"Oh..." Timmy said. "gosh I'm... I'm so sorry."

"It wasn't really even Danny who saved me." Vicky explained. "It was his friend Grace."

"Grace?" Timmy said. "Is she the goth one?"

"No that's Sam." Vicky replied.

"Oh, so is Grace the really hot one, with the adorable pink sweater?" Timmy asked.

"Yep that's Grace." Vicky said with a faint smile. "She's a real angel."

"Yeah she does seem pretty nice." Timmy said. "And if she was there for you when..."

"No, I mean she's LITERALLY an angel!" Vicky said.

"Like a real angel?" Timmy asked. "Like, from Heaven?"

"Well you were just geeking out about a guy who's half ghost." Vicky reminded him. "You really think angel's are that far-fetched? Besides, didn't you have like, fairy godparents or something?"

"WHAT?!?!" Timmy said. "Of course not! What are you crazy? Fairies? No way!"
"Are you sure?" Vicky said. "All that pink and green stuff around the house seemed a bit odd. And I'm pretty sure something was up with those fish! No ten-year-old cares about a couple of goldfish as much as you did."

"I just... really like fish ok!" Timmy said, sweat forming on his face.

"Whatever." Vicky said. "You mind if I smoke in here?"

"You smoke?" Timmy said. "You know that stuff can kill you right?"

"Maybe I want to die." Vicky said.

"You don't really mean that do you?" Timmy said.

"I told you." Vicky said. "I tried to KILL MYSELF this morning. And just because I was saved by some angel, and a half ghost kid, doesn't mean I'm better now."

"Oh... I uh..." Timmy said. "I don't know what to say here."

"When I was a teenager." Vicky started. "Back when I was babysitting you. I felt... empty, like something was missing. I felt empty, and I had this pain. I don't know how to describe it, but it hurt. It wasn't anything crippling, it was really subtle, but constant. I always thought that, if I made enough money it would fill the void inside me. No matter how much money I had, I still felt empty. And I thought, if I could pass my pain to someone else, I wouldn't hurt anymore. But it still hurt. Tormenting you and those others was a distraction, but the pain was still there. Only now, the guilt is making it worse."

"A p-pain." Timmy said, starting to feel uncomfortable. "Do... do you still feel it?"

"Yes." Vicky said. "It's like in my..."

"In your heart?" Timmy suggested.

"Actually, in my spine." Vicky said. "It's like there's something back there, something... not good."

Timmy moved to the couch next to Vicky and gave her a hug.

"Why is everyone trying to hug me today?" Vicky said, pushing Timmy off of her.

"You just, looked like you needed a hug." Timmy replied.

"Uh, thank I guess." Vicky got up off the couch. "I'll be right back."

...

Vicky stood on the front porch. It was night now and the stars were out. She pulled a lighter and a pack of cigarettes from her pockets.

She held her lighter up to her face. As soon as the flame sparked on her lighter a figure appeared before her in the front lawn. It was a tall dark figure of a man, completely cast in shadow.

Vicky's heart raced as an uneasy feeling washed over her.

"Can I help you?" Vicky asked. No response from the figure, Vicky started to get more nervous. "Do you need something." Still no response. Vicky was getting frustrated now, which added to her growing fear. "YO CREEP! What do you want!?!?"

Two glowing red eyes appeared on the figure's face. Vicky shrieked, dropped her cigarettes and lighter and rushed inside.

"What's going on?" Timmy asked.

"Th-there's something outside." Vicky gasped.

"What?"

"A man but..." Vicky said, still out of breath. "He... his eyes, they were glowing red, like some sort of demon."

"Well your eyes are pink." Timmy reminded her. "What's up with that anyway? I mean I've heard of pink eye, but that doesn't usually affect the Iris."

"Oh that?" Vicky raised an eyebrow. "Funny story actually. My doctors think it's some sort of medical condition, but no one really knows what caused it. Actually, my eyes used to be blue when I was a kid. But that's not important. Someone is stalking the house."

"Right, some sort of demon, right." Timmy said.

"Well I don't know." Vicky said. "I mean angels and ghosts are real so..."

Timmy motioned for Vicky to move aside so he can open the door.
"Timmy I don't think..." Vicky said.

A knock at the door. Timmy and Vicky froze.

They looked at each other for a second, then another knock.

Timmy opened the door.

"Oh, it's only you." Timmy gave a sigh of relief as his friends Chester and AJ walked in the door.

"Yeah who were you expecting." AJ said. "Some sort of serial killer?"

"Or girl scouts." Chester added. Then Chester and AJ noticed Timmy's guest.

"IT'S VICKY!" both boys yelled.

"BATTLE STATIONS!" AJ announced.

"Huh?" Vicky said.

Chester took out a sling shot and aimed it at Vicky's face. "Don't worry Timmy, I'll save you from her red headed evil!"

"WAIT!" Timmy jumped in front of Vicky.

"Oh no!" Chester announced. "Vicky's brainwashed Timmy!"

"I'm not brainwashed!" Timmy said.

"Timmy blink twice if you are being held against your will." Chester said.

"I'm not." Timmy facepalmed. "Look guys. Vicky's not the same person she once was."

"The old me would have been really proud of the fear I'm inspiring." Vicky remarked. "But now it's just awkward."

Chester put his slingshot away. "Well what's she even doing here?"

"She came to apologize." Timmy said.

"Yeah, I'm really sorry." Vicky said. "For everything."

"You really think I'm sorry, is going to make up for all the bad things you've done?" AJ accused.

"No... I don't." Vicky said. "But I'm not that person anymore, and all I ever feel looking back is regret. I took my anger out on you guys and that was wrong."

"In lighter news though." Timmy said. "I met Danny Phantom today."

"Like the REAL Danny Phantom?" AJ said. "Not that dumb mascot walking around."

"No this was the real deal." Timmy said. "And apparently he and this angel saved Vicky from um... well something really personal."

Vicky shot Timmy a smile, happy he did not disclose the details of what happened.

"An angel?" AJ said. "Ghosts are one thing. But I highly doubt angels exist."

"What? So, you don't believe in God?" Chester said.

"I'm a man of science." AJ said. "So no, I don't."

"Well men of science can believe in God." Chester said.

"The guy who came up with the big bang theory was a member of the church." Vicky pointed out.

"Hey, Vicky who's your friend over there?" Chester said, pointing to the swivel chair at the other end of the room.

"What are you Talking about?" Vicky said. "I don't have anyone with me. Danny and his friends dropped me off here, but they left for some family emergency. It's just been Timmy and I until you guys showed up."

"Then who's in that chair?" AJ asked.

At the other end of the room was a swivel chair that sat in front of a desk. Timmy, Chester and AJ would use that desk to work on homework. Now the chair was facing away from them. They could tell someone was sitting in the chair as a pair of legs could bee seen of the person sitting in it. The legs were propped up in the desk, as their owner leaned back. The legs had blue jeans and work boots.

"He's not with me." Vicky said. "You guys don't have a fourth roommate, do you?"

"No." Timmy replied.

"Hey Mr." Timmy said to the person in the chair. "Are you lost? I think you're in the wrong house."

No answer.

"HEY BUDDY!" Timmy yelled, now starting to get aggravated. "This is private property! You can't just walk in here un announced."

Silence

"I think that's the guy I saw." Vicky said.

"How could he get in here so fast?" Timmy asked.

"Maybe he came in through the window." Vicky suggested.

"Should we... you know, go over there?" Chester asked.

"Psh I'm not going over there." Vicky said.

"Maybe we should get security?" AJ suggested.

Timmy walked over to the swivel chair.

"Timmy wait no." Vicky said.

As Timmy got closer, he could see a reflection of glowing red eyes in the window in front of the desk. He placed his hand on the chair and turned it around...

The chair was empty. Whoever was sitting in it had vanished as if he was never there.

"Well that was anti-climactic." Timmy said. Then they all heard the flapping of wings. Then a knock at the door.

"No way!" Chester said as he opened the door. "IT'S DANNY PHANTOM!"

Danny, Sam, and Grace stood at the front door.

"My sister has radiation poisoning because the Devil came out of my basement," Danny said.
