Unexpected
"Hey guys! Guess what!" Tucker exclaimed, running up towards Sam and Danny.
"Nasty Burger is now open on Sundays?" Sam replied sarcastically.
"No... BUT REALLY!?!?" Tucker said, now very excited.
"...anyways, what?" Danny asked.
"The school's hosting a singing competition! Winner gets 50 dollars and a free trip to Amity's Ghostly Amusement Park!" Tucker exclaimed.
"Cool, we should do it then" Sam said.
"I can play the piano and I know Sam can play the guitar, Danny can you sing?" Tucker asked. Danny immediately shook his head.
"Nope, I heard Mikey can though" He replied.
"C'mon then! Lets go ask him!!!" Danny and Sam both smiled at Tuckers excitement.

Danny gave Mikey a thumbs up. They were the final act and Danny was supporting them from backstage. Mikey smiled nervously and looked at the large crowd. His smile disappeared.
The music started and Sam and Tucker both began playing. Mikey took a deep breath and looked at the crowd. He then looked back at Danny then to Sam and Tucker. He took one more glance at the audience then ran off the stage.
"Wait!" Danny exclaimed, grabbing Mikeys arm.
"I-Im sorry danny! I cant do it!" He exclaimed, giving Danny the microphone. He then ran out the exit door.
The music suddenly stopped. Sam and Tucker both stopped playing as well. The audience stifled their laughter. Sam looked at Tucker with a look of confusion. Tucker shrugged.
"BOOO YOU SUCK!" Someone from the audience yelled. Danny looked at the microphone in his hand then sighed.
"Turn the music back on" He said to the person in charge of the music.
(I dunno 🤷♀️)
"But-" The music guy began.
"Turn.it.back.on" Danny glared. He immediately obliged.
Danny walked out on stage, the music now playing. Sam and Tucker both looked surprised but began playing once more.
(Press play on the music now if you want)
I was just an only child of the universe
And then I found you
And then I found you
You are the sun and I am just the planets
Spinning around you
Spinning around you
You were too good to be true
Gold plated
But what's inside you
But what's inside you
I know this whole damn city thinks it needs you
But not as much as I do
As much as I do, yeah
Sam looked at Tucker wide wide eyes. Tucker looked back at her with an equally surprised expression.
'Cause you're the last of a dying breed
Write our names in the wet concrete
I wonder if your therapist knows everything about me
I'm here in search of your glory
There's been a million before me
That ultra-kind of love
You never walk away from
The audience was cheering like crazy. Mikey stood at the exit door and smiled.
You're just the last of the real ones
You're just the last of the real ones
You're just the last of the real ones
(You're just the last of the real ones)
You're just the last of the real ones
(You're just the last of the real ones)
You're just the last of the real ones
I am a collapsing star with tunnel vision
But only for you
But only for you
My head is stripped just like a screw that's been tightened too many times
When I think of you
When I think of you
I will shield you from the waves
If they find you
I will protect you
I will protect you
Just tell me, tell me, tell me, I
I am the only one
Even if it's not true
Even if it's not true, yeah
'Cause you're the last of a dying breed
Write our names in the wet concrete
I wonder if your therapist knows everything about me
I'm here in search of your glory
There's been a million before me
That ultra-kind of love
You never walk away from
You're just the last of the real ones
You're just the last of the real ones
You're just the last of the real ones
(You're just the last of the real ones)
You're just the last of the real ones
(You're just the last of the real ones)
You're just the last of the real ones
I'm here at the beginning of the end
Oh, the end of infinity with you
I'm here at the beginning of the end
Oh, the end of infinity with you
I'm done with having dreams
The thing that I believe
Oh, you drain all the fear from me
I'm done with having dreams
The thing that I believe
You drain the fear from me
'Cause you're the last of a dying breed
Write our names in the wet concrete
I wonder if your therapist knows everything about me
I'm here in search of your glory
There's been a million before me
That ultra-kind of love
You never walk away from
You're just the last of the real ones
You're just the last of the real ones
You're just the last of the real ones
(You're just the last of the real ones)
You're just the last of the real ones
(You're just the last of the real ones)
You're just the last of the real ones
Danny stopped singing and the audience began cheering even louder. Sam smiled and shook her head.
"'Cant sing' my ass..." She mumbled.
