"Danny for the LAST FUCKING TIME, TAKE YOUR DAMN MEDICINE"

Maddie sighed as she opened the door to her house, instantly seeing a very sick Danny standing on top of the kitchen table with a red faced Jazz trying to force cough syrup down his throat.

"NEVE- ACHOO" Danny sneezed into his elbow.

"Bless you"

"Thank you"

"Danny, off the table" Maddie set down the groceries and placed her hands on her hips while giving him a stern look.

"Mom! You're home!" Danny became teary eyed as he jumped off the table and gave her a hug.

"I missed you so muchhh" he sniffled.

A sick Danny is a very clingy and emotional Danny.

"Aww, I missed you too sweetie! I bought you some soup" Maddie smiled and hugged Danny back.

"Can we watch a movie, pretty please?" He asked with his puppy dog eyes.

"Only if you take your medicine"

Danny huffed and nodded.
"Fine"

Jazzs eye twitched.
"I had to chase you around the house, grab you out of the fucking toaster, tackle you several times, and all it took was a MOVIE I'M-"

"Jazz, medicine please" Maddie grabbed the medicine from Jazz and gave it to Danny who took it with displeasure.

"We're watching Jaws" He said as he drank the cough syrup. He then grabbed his blanket, which was in the freezer, and wrapped it around himself. He sighed In relief.

"If we have another ice age, I won't be sad" he mumbled as he walked into the living room and flopped on the couch. Jazz closed her eyes, counted to 100, then walked in after him and put in the movie.

Maddie sat next to him and turned the TV on, pressing play. Danny cuddled next to her.
"You're the best mom in the world" Maddie smiled and hugged him.
"Aww thank you sweetie, I couldn't have asked for a better son"

Suddenly, her phone rang. She answered it and frowned when it was Jack. Their assault vehicle had run out of gas on the highway and he needed her to come with their truck and tow it home.

"I gotta go get your father, sweetie, but Jazz can watch you" Maddie said, kissing Danny's fevered forehead.

Danny hugged her tighter.
"Nooo, Dont leave me with Jazz! She's pure evil!"

Jazz looked offended.
"Excuse you! I'm an angel! And can't I go with you, mom? I'm sure Danny can... take care of him... self..." She trailed off, remembering the last time they left him home alone while he was sick.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang and Tucker walked inside.
"Hey, Danny! Guess who got a date!"

Jazz immediately brightened and ran towards him, pulling Tucker into the living room.
"Tucker, you're watching Danny" she then grabbed Maddie's arms and the keys to their truck. She pushed her through the door then ran after her.

Tucker looked back at Danny, his eyes widening.
"Holy shit, dude you look awful. You oka-"

Danny's eyes filled with tears.
"Well you don't look that good either! Asshole!" He flung himself around so he was facing the couches back cushion. He sniffled then sneezed.

Tucker sighed.
"This is gonna go great"

"Just... get me down"

Tucker was hanging through the ceiling, upside down so his upper body was hanging out. Jazz covered her mouth to keep herself from laughing.

"I don't think I can. You're gonna have to wait until Danny does. I'll go get-"

"No, he's asleep! Now be quiet so you don't wake him up" Maddie sternly ordered as she quietly cut some vegetables for Danny's soup.

Jazz looked back at Tucker and shrugged.
"I can go ask my dad"

"On second thought, I'll just stay"
