"OH SH-" Danny yelled out as he got hit by one of Skulkers ecto blasts. He fell out of the sky. He managed to catch himself upside down just inches above the ground.

He opened his eyes and came face to face with a pair of glowing eyes.

"...um... hi"

"GUYSLOOKWHOIFOUNDHISNAMEIS SPOOKYANDI'MKEEPINGHIM!" Danny exclaimed as he burst into his classroom. Lancer yelped in surprise, dropping the book he was holding.

"WHY CANT YOU EVER ENTER MY CLASSROOM CALMLY!? YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK!" Lancer exclaimed, placing a hand on his chest. He sat down at his desk.

"Sorry... but anyways, when I was patrolling last night, Skulker hit me with his ecto blast and I nearly bled out in an alley way and thought I was gonna die, but look who I found!" Danny said cheerfully. He held out a tiny dark creature with wings.

"...anybody else deeply concerned about how he completely ignored the fact that he nearly died..." Kwan said.
"IS THAT A BAT!?" Sam asked. Danny nodded.

"WHY DO YOU HAVE A BAT!?" Star exclaimed. Danny shrugged.
"Because look at this adorable lil thing! His names spooky! I love him" Danny answered, hugging spooky. Spooky chirped back happily.

"Adorable!? Thats the ugliest thing I've ever seen!" Dash laughed.
Danny glared at Dash.
"Spooky. Attack" He said.

Spooky chirped angrily at Dash and flew straight towards him. Dash screeched and stood up. He ran out the door and Spooky ran after him.

"Ok Spooky! You can come back now!" Spooky flew back into the room and landed on Danny's shoulder.

"Good boy!" Danny smiled.

"You already trained him!?" Mikey said in disbelief.
"Yea, what do you think I've been doing all night?"

"Uh, jeez, I dunno... MAYBE GETTING SOME SLEEP!?"

"SLEEPING IS FOR WEAKLINGS! HUH SPOOKY?" Danny looked at Spooky only to see him fast asleep on his shoulder.

"...traitor..."
