Danny's POV

Once Mary and I finished eating, we had my mom and I's homemade sugar cookies which were the best cookies ever. I shrunk Mary's two cookies so they'd be easier for her to eat. "Here you go, sweetie." I handed over the cookies to Mary ever so carefully due to how small they were. "Thanks, Danny." Said Mary eating the cookies. "You're welcome. After this, you wanna come watch a movie in my room?" I asked. "Yes." A smile formed on my face. "Great. I can play my favorite Disney movie." After we finished our cookies, I gently scooped Mary in my palm, cradled her against my tummy, and took her upstairs to my room. I gently placed her next to me after I got into my pajama pants and got into bed. "So, what movie are we watching?" Asked Mary. "Lilo and Stitch. It's a very cute movie." I said as I turned on the TV and played Lilo and Stitch on Disney+. About halfway through the movie, I felt something crawl on my tummy. I looked down to see Mary snuggling on my tummy which was so unbearably cute. "Oh, you liked to snuggle?" Mary giggled in response. "You're so cute. You're welcome to snuggle with me anytime you'd like."

Mary's POV

I couldn't help but snuggle with Danny throughout the rest of movie. Danny's skin was so soft that it felt like I was on a cloud. What makes it even better was how gentle Danny is. "You're so soft. Can I sleep on your tummy tonight?" I asked as I continue to snuggle. "Of course, sweetie. You don't even need to ask me. You can sleep on my tummy every night if you want to. You're my new little sister and I wanna keep you safe while sleeping." Said Danny as he gently hugged me with his giant hand. "So do you like the movie?" Asked Danny. "I love it. Stitch is so cute." I said to Danny while watching the movie. "He sure is." After the movie was over, I was very tired, but I didn't want to go to sleep yet. "Danny, can you please read me a bedtime story?" I asked. "Of course. What story do you wanna hear?" Asked Danny. "Jack and The Beanstalk." I said. "Of course. I can pull it up on my phone." I watched Danny as he pulled out his phone so he can tell the story from an app he downloaded. As he was read the story, my eyes got really heavy knowing I'm about to go to sleep. Danny's voice is very soothing to my ears. His body rumbled a little as he spoke, but it was a very gentle rumble as opposed to a booming rumble. I snuggled even more as Danny finished reading. "I wish the giant in the story was a nice as you. I don't like mean giants." I said. "I don't blame you especially knowing what you and other borrowers go through. I never knew why anyone would be so cruel to someone just because they're so small. I treat everyone equally no matter what size they are." I then felt Danny pick me up and held me in front of his face. "I won't let anything, or anyone hurt you. I'll keep you safe." Said Danny. " You promise?" I asked. "Of course I do. If there's one thing you should know about me, I can be very protective." I giggled in response. "You're like a superhero." 

Danny's POV 

I chuckled when Mary told me I'm like a superhero which made me realize it was time for me to tell her who I am. "Well, that's because I am a superhero." She then looked up at me like I was crazy. "It's true. You wanna see my transform?" I asked. "Yes." Said Mary getting excited. "First, I need to ask you a question. Are you afraid of ghosts?" I asked and I saw a terrified look on Mary's face. "Y-Yes." I gently rubbed her back to comfort Mary. "It's ok, sweetie. I promise you the ghost you're about to see is a very friendly ghost and he already loves you." I said as I transformed into Danny Phantom still comforting her. "Y-You're Danny Phantom?" I nodded in response. "Oh my gosh! You're my favorite superhero ever!" I chuckled in response and gave her a hug. "I am so happy you're a fan. I told you the ghost you're about to meet already loves you." I said giving Mary a gentle kiss. "I love you too, Danny. I'm sorry for being scared." I slowly pulled and held her in front of my face. "No. Don't apologize. I have a feeling your family read you scary stories about humans and ghosts. That's enough to scar anyone for life. Believe me, I was afraid of ghosts before I became a half ghost superhero, and some can be very scary, but I won't let them hurt you. You're safe here." I said transforming back into Danny Fenton. "Why don't we get to sleep and I will protect you from nightmares, ok?" I said gently placing her back on my tummy. "Ok. Goodnight, Danny." Said Mary. "Goodnight, Mary. Sweet dreams." We both went to sleep knowing we'll keep each other safe until morning.

Author's Note

I am so sorry I took too long and haven't been as active. I've been under a lot of stress and I've been busy trying to find a job which caused me to have writer's block. Luckily, I finally found a job working for my local YMCA and I'll be a kids care instructor for and after school program. I'll do my best to get my other books updated but I'll be pretty busy.
