Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations - Author Unknown

Hey, guys new chapter! I know like only three people are reading this, but I do hope more give it a shot.

   She was beautiful, she was the one. Danny's wolf sensed it that morning, something was wrong; he knew it was how the wolf was acting a restless. He now knew why, why the wolf didn't enjoy the run, why it took going to the diner in the middle of town to settle the wolf down.

   Danny was now sitting outside the diner, waiting for his mate to come through the door, he had to ask her on a date, knowing that she, herself wasn't a wolf it would make it harder to connect with her, for them to be together. Once she knew though they would never be apart.

   The sound of the diner bell going off, dragged his attention to Destiny, and a name he thought fit them well. It was destiny that they would end up together eventually and it was destiny that they would stay that way until it was time to die off. He heard he suck in a breath when their eyes met once again, her beautiful ocean blues were hard to not stare at, but when he finally took his eyes away from hers, they were attracted to her body, her hair, everything that was hers he wanted.

   "Hi," Destiny said a little breathlessly, seeming to lose her cool, now that she wasn't at work.

   "Hello," Danny's voice was deep, deep with hunger, hunger for the beautiful redhead standing on the stairs in front of him.

   "Was there anything I could do, I mean I'm off the clock but I'm sure they won't mind." She said having to take in a breath of air. Danny gave a smirk, he wanted something alright, but it wasn't something from the diner, and he decided now was the time to ask her.

   "I was actually wondering if you would like to go out one night, to dinner with me." He said keeping eye contact with her. He saw the surprise on her face before she tried to mask it, as well as wanting. He was not the only one affected.

   "Thanks for the offer, but I was planning on staying home for the night, getting a good night's rest, and resting my aching feet. Again thanks, but no." She then hurried down the stairs and started walking down the sidewalk.

   "Just one date, that's all I'm asking for and if it's not good. I will leave you alone, please." Okay so Danny never had to beg, but this woman was being difficult, they could stay at her house, but that would have been a terrible first date, and Danny wanted to do something special for his mate.

   He could tell that she was having a difficult time deciding, it was a head and heart battle, and he was desperately wanting the heart to win.

   "Fine, but only if I can choose the place." She said, and he automatically agreed, not caring as long as she would be with him, to give them a chance.
