Blueberry was nervous. Ever since the attack on Okapi, she disliked walking at night. She leaned towards Okapi nervously. Okapi glanced up at the dark canopy. Blueberry looked around with sharp eyes, but saw nothing. A flash of lightning lit up the canopy, but they saw nothing. They both missed the cloaked figure sitting in the tree above them. Okapi was on the ground in an instant. Blueberry screamed loudly and opened her mouth, preparing to shoot venom. A crack flew through the air, and the attacker dropped Okapi's body with a thud. Blueberry didn't hesitate to shoot venom straight at the attacker. They whirled around and the venom splashed on their left wing. The attacker screamed and dove at Blueberry, slashing her on the throat and disappearing into the night.

Adorable and Cocoa rushed towards the sounds of screaming. They both stopped short at the sight of Okapi and Blueberry laying on the ground. Adorable screamed at the sight of her sister, but Cocoa only blinked, his face blank. Adorable gasped and ran up to Okapi. She shook her head. Okapi was dead. She turned to Blueberry and felt her talon. Blueberry was alive, but barely. She twisted her claws. Adorable was training to be a healer, but she wasn't that good. But nonetheless, Adorable applied the healing herbs to Blueberry's neck, stopping the bleeding and hopefully slowing the infection down. Blueberry let out a small bit of breath, and Adorable let out a sigh of relief. She turned towards Cocoa, who flapped his wings shut, but not before Adorable could see a little black...mark on Cocoa's right wing. Cocoa bared his teeth at her. Honeydew and Queen Extravagant ran up to Cocoa and Adorable. Honeydew's wings pressed against his sides and he widened his eyes. Queen Extravagant suddenly yelled.

"WHAT. JUST. HAPPENED?"
