Darkness. Pain. Fear. Queen Extravagant walked through the forest, shivering not entirely from the cold. Where are those healing berries that Honeydew said Adorable said that I should find. She looked nervously around. These attacks were getting worse and worse by the moment. The rain was pounding down on her wings, getting harder and harder, colder and colder. Suddenly, she saw a cloaked figure standing in front of her, its snout curled in a grimace. Extravagant  shrieked, and the cloaked figure hesitated for a moment, twisting its claws. Extravagant slowly began sidling away, but the figure rushed towards her, its wings pressed tightly against its sides. Extravagant began to run, but the figure was faster. It overtook her easily, slashing its claws along her wings, kicking her backwards into a tree. She gasped for breath, and the figure leapt forward, wrapping their claws around her neck. Extravagant gasped for breath, struggling weakly. The cloaked figure bowed their head, snapping her neck and dropping the body.

Tiger couldn't believe Extravagant was dead. They had all heard the shriek from miles away. Extravagant had a pair of vocal cords. He tugged Sunshine towards him, bowing his head. Honeydew came racing up, stopping short at the sight of Extravagant's body. His wings were pressed close against his sides as he gasped, looking down at her. 

"What happened?" He said. 

"The attacker killed her." Tiger growled. "When I get my claws on them..." He broke off into simple growling. "This calls for a vote." He turned to Sunshine.

"Queen Sunshine?" Sunshine looked surprised and Honeydew bumped her side.

"We will avenge mother." Sunshine said.
