[Oh no! Oh no no no! *Kevin Hart's voice* He said 'Definitely so!' HAAAAAA!!!!!]
[Where's the record button? Where's the playback button? AHHHH!!! That was the greatest line everrrrrrr!!]
[As a man, I feel totally embarrassed for her. Do you know the level of that rejection? Miss! Please! Cover your face!]
[Ack! My heart! How can she stand before him?]
[Wait. Wait. Hold up! So she was gunning for the cutie who is gay while messing with his subordinate? What kind of daytime soap opera is this??? Who's the director?! GIVE US MORE!]
[I believe you shouldn't do this as a friend, dear streamer. This is embarrassing her.]
[Oye. Upstairs. Stop pinching your nose in order to talk about that shit. That girl is a fucking lousy smell at xxxxxxxxx University that we can't get rid of. Jaejin is on our campus hottie list and one of the most favored because of his temperament. That girl has been practically stalking him and messing with his social life. Exposing her is the best remedy; crumbling her social life is god-tier.]
[Agreed ]
[Agreed +1]
The comments on the live stream were both humorous and vicious. There was no escape for Sherida. The viewers in the live broadcast room now had their noses pressed against their phone screens and their ears perched as they waited for more drama to unfold.
The source of their entertainment was frozen stupid as she looked at both Jaejin and Noir. After a few seconds, her ego stirred her brain, waking her up from her shocked state. She was once more the arrogant queen bee.
Jaejin saw this change and sighed helplessly. Raising his hand to check the time, Sherida saw the diamond-layered mechanical watch on his wrist. Her eyes shone upon recognition of the watch. Numerous questions filled her mind. She never saw Jaejin's attire look so high-end/top quality. If he was truly kicked out of his family how did he afford such goods?
She smiled in mockery.
Her duty to gloat blanketed her thought process. Maybe she's suffering from five-second memory loss or less but Sherida forgot Noir Guerra's words.
'Young master Jaejin is his boss' partner.'
"Jaejin. This joke of yours is getting funnier..." she began but her other words were stopped by said person.
"Enough. Can you gain some awareness? Fuck it. I want nothing to do with you or your family. I am no longer a member of the Min family. I am now the only son of a single mother. I do not like you. I never did and I never will. If you come near me in the future, I won't hesitate to put a restraining order on you. Thank you for ruining my lunch. Goodbye." Jaejin beckoned Adam to follow him and brushed past Sherida.
Adam had a cheeky grin on his face. A scornful laugh was heard when he walked by her. Sherida fumed when she saw that mocking look on his face. The guards and the assistant surrounded the two creating a dominating atmosphere as they left.
Noir Guerra chuckled at his young master's display of authority and couldn't help but approve of this newcomer. Young master Eros chose well. Tucking his hands in his pants, he made a step forward to walk past Sherida.
"Baby, where are you going?"
Noir was shocked.
He was shocked, amused, and in disbelief. How thick was this girl's skin? She was ridiculed, humiliated, and rejected yet she still wish to cling to him. Where did her confidence come from?
"Baby? Who's your baby? Little girl, I think your brain failed to work in that head of yours. To put it clearly for your limited understanding. I was a buffer, meaning to get young master Jaejin out of your sight I was sent to gatekeep. Our little connection was my job - be your boy toy until the young master is ready. Bye Bye now."
"You were screwing with me?!" Her shriek was ear-piercing yet amusing. Her face was red as she realized how easily she was taken down by Noir.
[FINISH HER!]
[CRITICAL HIT!!!!]
[GAME OVER!!!!]
[OHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Why is she still standing?]
[On this day womankind has been dealt a huge blow.]
The live stream was once again explosive. Screenshots were taken of the statuelike Sherida. Her face was burning from the shame of being used. She thought she had the upper hand in their arrangement when he always came at her call. He was a distraction.
She was mortified. No one had a right to play with her. She's the Macallis heiress. Who dares go against her family?
"Hey! Wait! Who told you to do that? Tell me now!!! I will destroy whoever it is."
Noir heard her empty threats from afar. He took a step down and looked over his shoulder. "You're a minor character in this game. He already screwed your life over and you haven't noticed yet. You are not on our level, little miss heiress." A cruel smile lit up his face. Sending her a mocking wave of his hand, the entire restaurant watched on as he walked to the sidewalk and entered a blacked-out SUV that pulled up a few seconds ago.
The venue was silent. The patrons' eyes moved to the red-faced Sherida. A few muffled their laughter while some gave her pitiful looks. Her friends began to gather their things and made their way towards her.
"I think you're old enough to gain some awareness of scenarios around you. Thanks for lunch. We will see ourselves off," one said.
"Where are you going?" The domineering voice was back.
Her friends sneered her way and walked away with a laugh.
Sherida was at a loss. So many things happened within that length of time. There was one person to blame, but she doesn't know who the -' he' Noir mentioned.
It's best if her father is notified.
Holding her head high, she prepared to leave the restaurant.
"Ummm, Miss? The bill needs to be paid."

New Mexico
Administrator Cho stood before his sworn brother and noted the changes to his appearance. It has been stressful the past weeks and it keeps getting worse. His once elegant and pristine look was gone. Min Hanjool was now thinner in body weight, his eyes were dark due to sleepless nights and his appearance was haggard. So many things kept popping up one after the other that neither couldn't keep track. The media wasn't cutting them any slack and the wolves that were once in hiding are now attacking the company.
His enemies were tearing apart the company in South Korea. The Min family's name was now in the gutters and their businesses were accumulating losses by the minute.
"Brother Hanjool. There's only one way out of this."
Hanjool raised his bloodshot eyes and looked at Cho. Jaejin's call and blatant provocation put a spike in his blood pressure. He saw no silver lining in the improvement of his business image. Now that Neil's existence has been revealed, he had to make a decision. This is what that bitch wanted.
"I know. Get the contract and deal with those two...."
"SECRETARY CHO! Bad news!"
The rude interruption of his assistant barging through the door angered Administrator Cho greatly. The future of the company was at stake and this brat comes in as he pleased. "What is the meaning of this, Jared? Have you lost your mind?"
The young man didn't care about his boss's admonishment. The news he had to deliver was bigger than this man's ego. He stood at the door and watched the chairman and secretary Cho in their pitiful state. The company was doom yet they're still fighting. This news will be the last blow to their position in this business world. Luckily, he was just hired by REDY.
"Sir, a press release from the chairman is circulating," he announced.
"WHAT?!!!" They both yelled in disbelief and incredulity at such news.
"What foolishness are you talking about?" Cho asked.
Jared was confused. He frowned and gave them a simple answer. "The appointment of the new chairman."
How can they not know about this slip-up? It's currently on significant business sites online and on news channels. What have they been doing in this place?
Hanjool slammed his hands face down on the glass desk and sprang to his feet with a vicious look. Administrator Cho had an ugly expression on his face as he looked at his assistant. The young man felt wronged. Wasn't it their move to do that current press release? Did they send it out by mistake?
"Great. HW Financial has reached so low that a child with milk still in his face can disrespect us like this? What foolishness are you talking about?" Hanjool wanted answers. This was the final move he and Cho agreed upon seconds ago yet a press release was already out. Who will play such a trick? Why did they do it?
"Sir! If you don't believe me, switch on any business channel." Jared turned on his heels and left the office.
Administrator Cho scrambled for the remote and flipped the current channel to a business channel.
['In the latest business news - After weeks of drop in stocks, loss of clients, and broken reputations, Chairman Min Hanjool of HW Financial group in New Mexico has shared a press release. After careful investigation and analysis by current company and law experts, they found Chairman Min's move to be another 'passing the torch' ceremony. Various articles have been spread tarnishing the integrity and respect of the South Korean-based financial company. The sudden downfall of the company affected their stocks and shareholders are on tenterhooks waiting for the final result of HW Financial. With the North American branch in disarray, the South Korean main branch is nearing its final lap. The leader in the acquisition is Baek Chun President of Chuyung Group. The young business magnate has won over 49% of the company's shares and still pursuing more. It won't be long before HW Financial Group South Korea has a new owner.
And what about its North American affiliate? The investors and clients are all retreating due to the dishonest ways of its chairman, Min Hanjool. The once-hidden family history is currently destroying the company's image. Due to confirmed sources after certain articles appeared, it is now known that the firstborn son was blindly set to marry Macalliss Cooperation heiress without his permission. This marriage was meant as a business deal to form an alliance. The first young master refused upon hearing this and was forced to leave the family due to his firm decision. It wasn't long after the public was informed of his illegitimate son. Sources reveal that the chairman had his mistress in his marital home and chased out his legal wife. With this injustice, Madam Han has applied for divorce countless times putting herself at a disadvantage but the other party blatantly refuses to honor her wishes.
It was this behavior that experts made a negative report of the company's outcome - a broken family brings downfall.' On the cusp of this report, the present press release was delivered.
Chairman Min Hanjool has stepped down as the present chairman of HW Financial. The newly appointed chairman will be the second son - Neil Min. The handover of authority will be honored upon the official signatures of both parties.
We look forward to the changes to HW Financial.]
Not one of the two said a word.
This was their plan but one important fact wasn't to be included. Neil Min was meant to be a proxy, a mere stand-in, and let his ego inflate a little with some money. They never dream of putting all authority in that idiot's hands.
Administrator Cho didn't know what to do. He handled all documents like a press releases and handover documents.
Who sent that release? He frowned and began to question himself. He began questioning his sanity, work ethic, and even his eyesight. The document shown for the world to see had the company's watermark and letterhead. He even recognized the font. How...? Administrator Cho moved woodenly and clutched at his chest. His heart was beating too fast.
This person...... how despicable!
Min Hanjool began the blame game. He silently blamed Cho but quickly retracted his anger from the man. He knew something was amiss. Who will play such a cruel trick? Hanjool began to think about what had been happening over the few weeks. His entire living has been chipping away. It was taking all his strength to hold on to that last piece, now it was gone. A throbbing pain surfaced at the back of his head.
This was too much.
He reached for his phone to contact his investigative team when a call came in. The number wasn't saved but he knew who it was. His mistress. Tammy. What crap she had to say now? he muttered to himself. He was already at his wits end with this prank.
"Honey! I didn't expect you to be so decisive. *sigh* I guess this is what it means to be a chairman. I'm happy that you decided to put your trust in our son. Our Neil is more capable than the other one. The courier just left with the documents. Don't worry, I read through it all and had Neil sign it clearly."
Her ramblings were like an annoying mosquito in his ear but the last two sentences were heard clearly. His body once again froze. He needs to clarify that bullshit she just spouted.
"Say that again."
"Hmm? What?" Tammy queried. She was too caught up in the excitement of the previous event to pay attention fully.
"What the hell is wrong with your brain? What the fuck did that brat sign and what courier?!"
"H-Honey. Your legal aide visited us and a courier was with him. You.... you sent them with the handover urgently."
Min Hanjool felt a cold clammy hand clutch his struggling soul and began to pull it downwards. His face was pale and painted with a look of despair. Images of his slow downfall came like a slideshow in his mind. Someone was fucking with him. What legal aide?! He will never send such important things to someone else's hands.
It's all fake. It has to be fake.
"Honey!" "Honey? Are you there?"
He couldn't answer the woman. He was too lost in his mind to focus on her jabbering. His eyes were on the large screen in front of him. That cold clammy hand that caught his soul was now suffocating him. The words on the screen were the only things in his vision.
[BREAKING NEWS!!!! Baek Chun of the Chunyun Group has won the acquisition of HW Financial Group.]
Min Hanjool felt the sharp pain behind his head and clutched it on reflex. A pained cry was heard then the heavy fall of his body onto the marbled office floor.
"BROTHER HANJOOL!!!!"
~~~~~~~~~
The sharp sound of the tv being shut off filled the room. In the mountain villa where she had lived for a large number of years, Han Eun-Kyung couldn't contain the laughter bubbling in her throat. She never knew that the business channel could be so funny. Min Hanjool's riches and business life were taken from him in less than an hour.
She shuddered at the strength of the young man who is behind it all. This man was the one who she would be calling son-in-law.
Her son's first lover was genuinely frightening.
"Are you ready, Madam Han?"
The steady and playful voice of Druex drew her attention to the far corner of the room. Sitting with a large bowl of noodles in his hand, Druex was more attentive to the quick meal than the mission that was currently ongoing. To him it was easy to pull off, his stomach was the top priority at the moment.
Eun-Kyung lips twitched in amusement. Druex was a constant in her life for the past two days, he moved like a ghost and can adapt to any situation. His actions placed her and Ji-hun in a state of disbelief when he moved around the villa in a carefree manner under the heavy security.
"I am," she answered.
Druex nodded with hum while stuffing his face once more. Ji-hun squeezed Eun-kyung's shoulder and left the room. She got to her feet and looked around - the place was bland, there were no moments, no family photos, and it was a simple generic villa where she was imprisoned in.
"Remember to give them a great performance."
Eun-Kyung chuckled and retrieved her phone.
The villa Min Hanjool placed his wife in sat upon a mountain overlooking the town below. It was beautifully designed to depict a nature haven nestled along the mountainside. It has always been peaceful at the villa. There was no activity, no visitors, and no loud noises to show any sign of permanent inhabitants. The assigned guards had no daily duties or discipline. They were simply high-paid workers that stood guard at an 'empty' house. No matter how many men Min Hanjool placed to keep watch of his wife, they were useless against trained soldiers under the Delacourde family.
Dressed in casual clothes, Druex left Eun-Kyung and strolled towards the kitchen. This nonchalant behavior of his was all thanks to the so-called high security. He walked around the villa fully armed with two holstered guns, a strapped dagger on his thigh, and a concealed gun on his ankle.
He placed his bowl in the sink and turned towards the cook and a guard playing cards to check their awareness.
No response.
'What kind of bull crap is this? I am definitely not wasting my bullets on these idiots.' Druex complained inwardly and left the kitchen with a pout on his face.
He walked along the stone floors and peeked out the glass walls enjoying the serenity of the villa. Checking the time on his watch, he made his way to the main floor of the house.
The show is about to start.
Seconds later, an angry shout broke the silence.
"JI-HUN! JI-HUN, WHERE ARE YOU?"
The sound of wheels rolling quickly along the stone floors then the loud clattering of those said wheels resounded through the air as it was pulled harshly down a flight of stairs.
The loud noise alerted the guards and out of curiosity, a few made their way to the main floor. Frowns marred their faces when they saw the usually quiet and well-bred Eun-Kyung rushing into the wide-open floor with angry steps.
"Ma'am?" Ji-hun's worried voice followed soon after. He pushed away some of the guards resulting in the latter cursing his actions. On the man's face was a frown as he reached Eun-Kyung. He stretched for the traveling suitcase in her hand but moved it out of his reach.
"Ma'am, please. What's wrong?' Ji-hun asked softly.
"Get the car." Those were the only three words she said firmly before turning to leave once more.
"I - Ma'am..." Ji-hun was flustered. His actions didn't bring up a red flag to the guards because they basically controlled the lives of these two. This authority was constantly waved over their heads. If she has an appointment in town, she must report it to the house manager who has to confirm with the main house.
"What?"
"You know that's not possible, ma'am," Ji-hun returned with a pleading tone.
Eun-Kyung sneered at her bodyguard and then looked at the audience. "Oh?! Is that so? You! The one with the foolish grin on his face," she said pointing to the house manager. The man was bulky in size, and his clothing looked a size too small for him. He had a smug smile on his face. He loved the fact that he can control this woman. So many times he was tempted to go further but that bodyguard of hers was too vigilant.
"Madam Min..." He chuckled when he saw the disgusted look on her face at the mention of that detested name.
"Cut the crap, you overgrown wart. Tell your new madam that she can claim this prison in the future after her role is up," she shouted.
The smile on the house manager's face faded after that insult. He didn't pay attention to the last sentence. His pride was hurt.
Eun-Kyung turned to Ji-Hun. Her features softened. He too lost his sense of vigilance when he saw the change in her actions. Confusion filled his eyes as he held her gaze. "Ma'am. Please rethink this. You're safe here. Why don't we wait on the final say of things? You know you don't have much power outside these walls." He spoke clearly hoping to calm her down further.
"Ji-hun."
"Yes?" He answered obediently, ready for her orders.
Eun-Kyung laughed softly and then called his name once more. "Ji-hun, my love."
His body froze upon hearing that endearment. His dark eyes stayed on her make-up-free face and messy updo. A smile broke free on his face. "Yes, beauty Han," he answered.
"You know our outcome. He made that loose junk the new chairman. My little Jin is waiting for us. Let's go. Even if I have to walk down this mountain, I will leave this place without a care in the world. Let's go, my love."
Ji-hun was about to answer but the house manager cut his words off.
"How fucking touching. Those are some big words you're saying, Madam Min. You can't leave here without our permission," he stated proudly.
Eun-Kyung snorted in disdain and made a step toward the door. She grabbed Ji-hun's hand and lead him to the exit.
"STOP THEM, YOU IDIOTS!"
Ji-hun stopped Eun-Kyung and placed her directly five steps away from the door just as the ten audience members came rushing towards them. He couldn't let her go out on her own. The men outside will definitely hurt her.
"I'll be back," he uttered softly.
Gone was the doting look on his face; the look of indifference replaced it in mere seconds. He took one lazy step toward the men before running headlong into their path. He stopped before them and then executed a spinning roundhouse kick. The force was sharp and heavy as he clipped the ankles of the two directly in front of him then a heavy impact to the chest of the others. His body spun smoothly before the last kick.
Leaning backward, he dodged an incoming fist and retaliated with a quick slash of his hand to the man's neck. His elbow met the nose of an attacker trying to ambush him from the back.
Ji-hun jumped and used the man behind him as a springboard to execute a backward flip before launching to the others.
A few lazy yet forceful punches and kicks subdued the untrained guards.
The house manager stared at the men on the floor who were screaming in agony due to a few slaps. The man looked around hoping to find more guards to deal with Ji-hun.
His eyes landed on Druex. He thought this kid will be able to help but the young man's actions made him lose all hope. The kid was in the midst of struggling to open a bag of Skittles.
"Oye! What the fuck are you doing? Go call for help!" the house manager yelled. The man thought Druex was a new recruit influenced by the guards' lazy work ethic.
"Um... oh! Alright! Sure thing, boss," Druex said with a serious expression. He ran past the house manager, he rushed by Ji-hun warily - putting up a great show- he ran out the door and began to yell for help.
"Help! Madam Min's guard has gone crazy!"
The house manager regained his arrogance. "Let's see how you will leave here, today. You may have a few moves but that doesn't prove anything."
The front door was open. Eun-kyung looked at the young man warily who was on the front steps then the man gloating in glee. She straightened her shoulders and rushed out the door. Ji-hun followed her immediately.
Druex looked behind him in shock. At the same time patrolling guards came rushing forward, Eun-Kyung's phone rang. She wanted to ignore the call but thought of an idea. She answered it quickly with a teary voice.
The house manager saw this as he reached the entrance.
"They won't let me leave. They are even attacking us now. I just want to go to my son." Eun-Kyung cried into the phone and stated her injustice.
Ji-hun launched himself toward the approaching few. "Boss! I will go call the others," Druex said running back inside.
"Good." The house manager nodded in approval and watched on as Ji-hun fought twelve armed men. His face had a winning smile on his face but it gradually fell when he saw the numbers dwindle. What sent a blow to his ego was Ji-hun's indifferent expression and lazy movements. Were his men that useless?
One guy! They couldn't take down one guy.
"I-I will try to hold on. Ji-hun is securing a way out for us. Please hurry." Eun-Kyung's words brought the house manager back to the present.
Who was this bitch talking to? She doesn't have any friends.
He made a move to snatch her phone away but the obnoxious sound of a car horn stopped him once more.
What the hell is going on?
A large SUV came to a complete stop in the driveway. in the driver's seat was the young man who rushed to get more help. Ji-hun glanced at the young man who was leaning out the van window with a cheeky smile.
Eun-Kyung dropped her suitcase and rushed down the flight of stairs. Ji-hun reached for her hand and rushed them both to the van. When they were safely in, Druex spoke.
"I don't think your boss will like what happened today," he said with a laugh.
The house manager stood at the top of the stairs with a dumbfounded look as the SUV drove away.
It wasn't until the trio passed the gate that he realized what happened.
It was a farce.
All of it was a farce for them to escape.
He needs to inform the main house.
He searched his pockets for his phone and quickly called the main house to report. His anxiety reached the highest level. This was his job to keep those two here.
One thing they asked him to do and he just failed at it.
The call kept ringing which felt like an eternity to him. When he was about to hang up, the call was answered.
"Min Family Residence."
The house manager frowned. This wasn't the person he usually reports to. Who was this?
"Who the fuck is this? Put the house manager on the phone now," he yelled.
"You dare act so arrogant when the lady of the house is the one you're talking to."
He didn't know how to act because it was an open fact that Min Hanjool didn't care about the two ladies but they held a degree of authority depending on the house. Since Tammy was the mistress of the main house, her authority was higher than Han Eun-Kyung's.
"Apologies ma'am. There has been a situation that I must convey to the house manager," he began.
"He's busy with something. Is it important? I will deal with it accordingly. Hurry up and tell me, I have an appointment to fulfill," she demanded.
"Uhhh... ummmm... Madam... Miss... no Madam Min has left the villa. She left with that guard of hers and an unknown young man."
The silence was the reply he received.
On the other end of the call, a wide smile was on Tammy's face. "How troublesome. I will relay the message." She ended the call abruptly. The smile has yet to leave her face.
"Oh, you yellow slut! You gave me the best congratulatory gift ever."
Las Vegas
'New Mexico - completed'
Eros Delacourde glanced at the notification that popped up on his phone. Jian stood behind him and saw the message. Without a reminder, he instructed the others to proceed with their end of the game.
They were currently at a rooftop restaurant specially reserved for him and his guests. He sat at the main seat looking at the pool and the beautiful vista before him. Four men sat below him at their individual tables being served light meals by bikini-clad waitresses. Beautiful escorts swam in the pool or sunbathe in lounge chairs as they waited on the big shots seated away from them.
"A toast of welcome to the second young master. Keiran of the Wilkes family greets the young master." A man in his early thirties stood and offered a glass of red wine to Eros respectfully.
The other three men of equal ages mimicked this greeting and only sat when Eros gave them a nod of approval.
"I invited you here as a form of apology and also wish to query some matters. First I apologize for the unexpected development of that interference. I have been notified by the relevant sources and have begun to take action."
The men voiced their unworthiness of such apology from the young master but inwardly they felt respected by this young man.
Eros tucked away the congenial smile on his lips. The men saw this change. They felt the pressure of what was to come next. Seated above them, those beastly amber eyes looked down on them without a shred of emotion. He was displeased and they knew why.
"Who would like to explain how a bunch of fucking amateurs were able to infiltrate your territories?
