Chapter Seventeen: Kickstart My Heart

The next morning I awoke to find Nikki's arms wrapped snugly around my waist, being careful not to wake him I softly and quietly removed his hands from my waist before tiptoeing out of the room and closed the door quietly behind me.

I made my way downstairs and over to the couch.

"Morning, Nikki Ruelle." Tommy greeted, as I sat down between him and Vince. "Morning, Tommy." I said, as I rubbed my sleepy eyes.

"Did you sleep okay?" Vince asked, as he affectionately messed up my hair making me laugh.

"I guess so, I did have a pretty bad dream though." I said, and they looked at me in concern. "Do you want to tell us about it, honey?" Vince asked, and I nodded.

"What happened was I had been kidnapped. It was only a dream, but it felt so real." I said, as I hugged Tommy who rubbed my back comfortingly.

"Aww, don't worry Nicola. Everything's going to be just fine." He said, and I smiled. I heard a knock at the door then got up, and opened it.

"Hello?" I asked, looking around but as I turned to walk back inside I felt rough hands grabbing my arms and struggled violently "Hel—" I started to shout before a hand clamped over my mouth and I was thrown into the back of a black rover.
