(Nicola's view)

I stood in the phone booth with the phone pressed to my ear. I was calling Izzy. I was about to hang up when he answered on the second ring. "Stradlin residence," I took a breath before replying. "Hey Izzy, it's me." I heard a smile in his voice.

"How're you doing Nicola darling? Are you feeling alright? You sound kind of sad." Izzy's voice said, and I sniffled which he heard. "Aww, what's the matter?" he asked, and I hurriedly wiped my eyes.

"Can I come stay with you and Isadora for a while?" I asked. "Oh, for sure! Want me to come and get you?" He asked, and I nodded. About two minutes later I see his car pull up. Izzy hastily gets out along with his twin Isadora.

"Gosh Nicola, you're soaked, poor dear." Isadora chastised, once she and Izzy got me into the car. "So, what happened darlin'?" Izzy asked, and I told them the whole story from the beginning.

Once I'd finished the story they both looked at me sympathetically. "It's hard to love someone who isn't always honest with you, believe me. I've been there way too many times." Izzy said, as he reached a hand back to squeeze mine. "But don't worry, Isadora and I will take care of you. That is a promise we'll never break." He said, and I squeezed his hand.

"Thanks guys, I love you." I said, and they both smiled in response. "We love you too, you're family to us Nicola. We'd do anything just to see you smile again." Isadora said, and Izzy nodded in agreement. "You want to watch a movie when we get home?" He asked, and I nodded. "Of course." I said, as I smiled at them. "There's that smile," Izzy said, as he let go of my hand.
