I know I haven't updated since two months I think. I didn't know how to continue the story and then I was doing something for school or drawing ... anyway here's the next chapter. I hope you like it.

At Shadow's secret place

"Ahem, are we interrupting something." Sonic asked as he stepped out of his hiding place and was soon joined by his friends, who where glaring at him. Shadow and Rouge immediately separated from each other and both began blushing.

"Why are you following us?" Rouge asked annoyed. "Sorry Rouge but we were worried about you." Amy said. "And Shadow." Blaze added. "And we want an explanation for what happened at the tournament." Silver said." "I think you should start explaining Shadow." Sonic said and crossed his arms. "Fine." Shadow replied and looked in the direction of the Dark Kingdom. "I'm the prince of the Dark Kingdom but I never wanted to be a prince so I sneaked out every now and then. One night our kingdom was attacked and my dad commanded me to flee with my mother. She got stabbed before we could escape and I killed the four knights but more were coming and my mother commanded me to flee." Shadow explained and the girls had sad looks on their faces. "I'm so sorry for your loss." Amy said. "And after you escaped you ran to Rouge's place?" Silver asked and Shadow nodded. "Is your dad still alive?" Blaze asked. "I don't think so." Shadow said and looked at the floor. "Who attacked your kingdom?" Sonic asked and Shadow looked at him. "I don't know but I'll kill him." Shadow said with pure hatred in his voice. 

"Looks like you could need some help to win back your kingdom." Sonic said and smirked at his friends. "Sonic what are you planning." the girls asked at the same time. "We're going to help Shadow win back his home." Sonic replied and Shadow looked confused. "Why do you want to help me?" Shadow asked. "You're the boyfriend of our friend and Rouge would never forgive us if you fight all by yourself." Sonic replied and Silver nodded. "Thanks I appreciate your help." Shadow replied. "No problem." Silver said smiling. "And I've better fighting skills so you would definitely need my help." Sonic added and smirked at Shadow while Silver rolled his eyes. "You know that I'm stronger than you." Shadow said and gave Sonic a dead glare. "In your dreams faker." Sonic replied and returned the glare. "Would you two stop arguing for a sec. We need to figure out how to get into the castle without being noticed." Silver yelled and Sonic and Shadow looked surprised at the younger hedgehog. "Sorry." Shadow and Sonic said at the same time.

"Silver you don't have to yell we already figured out a plan." Amy said and Blaze and Rouge nodded while the three boys looked surprised at the girls. "Firstly Sonic and Silver have to kidnap those knights of the Dark Kingdom who, hopefully, are still in the Emerald Kingdom." Blaze explained and the boys nodded. "Shadow you'll stay here because we don't know if the knights of our kingdom will attack you." Rouge said and Shadow nodded. "Fine by me." Shadow replied. "In the mean time Rouge, Blaze and I will get you three horses from my parents." Amy said and the boys nodded once again. "We will meet here as soon as we have everything." Rouge said and everyone agreed. "Okay then let's get started." Sonic said and ran off with Silver. "Come on let's go." Blaze said and the girls ran off as well while Shadow returned into the cave behind the waterfall to get his weapons."

At the castle of the Dark Kingdom

"Master, we found him." the knight said and bowed before his king. "Where is he?" Mephiles asked. "He's in the Emerald Kingdom. I'm sure the other knights will return with him soon." the knight replied and Mephiles nodded. "Good job. You can leave now." Mephiles said and sat back down on his throne. "Better prepare for the battle of your life my dear nephew." Mephiles thought and laughed.

Back in the Emerald Kingdom

Sonic and Silver entered the kingdom and began their search for the two knights. "Let's ask our dads if they are still here." Silver said and Sonic nodded. "Fine. Race ya." Sonic said and ran off. "SONIC! YOU'RE CHEATING!" Silver yelled and ran after him. "Catch me if you can." Sonic said and didn't look where he was running. "SONIC!" Silver yelled. "WATCH OUT!" Silver added as he saw two knights. Sonic turned his hand and ran head first into the knights they were looking for. The knights got pushed on the ground and got unconscious. "Ouch." Sonic said as Silver finally reached him. "Great now we don't have to find them anymore. Come on lets tie their hands and go back without somebody noticing." Silver said and Sonic get up rubbing his head. "By the way I'm okay." Sonic said and took one of the knights while Silver took the other one. "That's fine. Come on let's go." Silver said and ran off while Sonic rolled his eyes. 

"You sure your dad is not home?" Blaze asked as they entered the horse stable. "Yeah, I'm sure. He's by the king." Amy replied and lead the girls to the horses. "We'll take those three horses." Amy said and took a white horse with black mane and black tail. Blaze took a white horse white mane and white tail. Rouge took a black horse with black mane and black tail. "Wow they are beautiful." Rouge said and Amy smiled. "I know." Amy replied. "Come on let's hurry." Blaze said and Rouge and Amy nodded. They saddled the horses and rode back to Shadow's secret place.
