At the castle of the Emerald Kingdom

Shadow and Sonic looked at each other, both wanting the other to start. "What's wrong faker to afraid that I'll beat the shit out of ya." Sonic asked with a smirk. "No and that's not my name." Shadow hissed and attacked Sonic who easily dodged the attack. "You're to slow." Sonic said and dodged another attack from Shadow. Now Sonic attacked but Shadow too dodged every hit. "Who's slow now?" Shadow said as their swords clashed against each other again.

Outside of the castle

"Hey look! Isn't that prince Shadow over there." one of Mephiles' knights said. "I think it's him. You go back and inform the king the others and I'll get him." one of the other knights said. The first knight nodded and headed back to the Dark Kingdom.

Back at the fight

Shadow and Sonic were still fighting and both won't gave up. "He's stronger than I thought." both hedgehogs thought and continued their fight until they got interrupted by a voice.

"Stop the tournament." One of Mephiles knights shouted and everyone looked at the knights. "Damn, they saw me." Shadow whispered. "Hey I almost won, that's not fair." Sonic said annoyed. "What do you want here." Sonic's dad asked and behind him were Silver's dad and Blaze's dad. "We are ordered to capture prince Shadow the Hedgehog." the knight said and everyone except Rouge were shocked that Shadow was a prince but as they looked at the place where Shadow stood he was gone. "Hey were did he go?" Sonic asked confused and Silver just shrugged his shoulders.

"Find him!" one of Mephiles knights ordered and the other knights did what they were told. "Did you know that Shadow's a prince?" Amy and Blaze asked at the same time. "Hehe ... I think I somehow forgot to mention it." Rouge replied and ran away to find Shadow. "Rouge wait for us." Amy said and ran after her as well as Blaze.

Somewhere else in the Emerald Kingdom 

Shadow ran as fast as he could to the gate of the Kingdom and into the forest. "I hope Rouge knows where I'm going." Shadow thought as he reached his goal. He climbed up the stone wall and hide in the cave where hide his targets.

Back in the Emerald Kingdom

"Rouge wait!" Blaze shouted after her but Rouge didn't stop. "Why isn't she stopped? And where is she even going?" Amy asked as Rouge passed the gates of the kingdom. "Amy stop." Blaze said all of a sudden as something came into her mind. "What? Why?" Amy asked a bit confused. "Let's go and get the boys. I'll tell you everything as soon as we find them." Blaze replied and Amy nodded. 

Just as they turned around they ran into Sonic and Silver. "Perfect timing Sonic." Amy said cheerfully and hugged her boyfriend. "I've always a perfect timing." Sonic said and Silver rolled his eyes. "Right. Why were you looking for us?" Silver asked and Sonic gave him a glare. "I think I know where Rouge and Shadow went." Blaze said and the boys just looked confused. "Are you really that dumb." Amy asked because she know what Blaze was thinking. "I'm sure they went to Shadow's 'secret' place in the forest." Blaze said and Amy nodded. "That was exactly what I was thinking." Sonic said and Silver rolled once again his eyes. "Sure you did." Amy said sarcastically and Blaze began to giggle while Silver started laughing. "Then lets go and look if you're right." Sonic said angry and headed to the forest.

Somewhere in the forest

Rouge ran through the forest as fast as she can and without stopping to the lake Shadow once showed her. "Please be here." Rouge whispered as she reached the lake. She looked around but couldn't find Shadow. "Shadow, where are you." Rouge shouted and Shadow's ear twitched. "Rouge." Shadow whispered and looked out of the cave without anyone noticing. 

Rouge was still shouting Shadow's name and fall to her knees when she noticed that nobody was answering. Rouge started crying and Shadow climbed down the rock wall without making a noise. He went behind Rouge and hugged her. Rouge jumped a little as someone wrapped his hand around but relaxed as she noticed that it was Shadow who hugged her. Rouge stopped sobbing and turned around to kiss her boyfriend. Shadow kissed back and Rouge also wrapped her arms around Shadow.

Somewhere else in the forest

"Where was this damn place?" Sonic asked as impatient as he is. "If you wouldn't always go into the wrong direction, we would be there already." Silver replied and Sonic gave him a glare. "This way." Sonic said and was about to go as he got stopped by Amy. "This way Sonic." Amy said while pointing to the other side. "That was just a test. I wanted to make sure you know the way too." Sonic replied and Silver sighted. "Yeah right." Blaze said and started walking. "Are you sure that's the right direction this time." Silver asked before the heard somebody shouting. "Yeah I'm sure it's the right direction." Amy replied and started running.

Shadow and Rouge were still kissing and completely unaware of their surroundings. Sonic, Amy, Silver and Amy were hiding in the bushes. "Should we interrupt them?" Amy asked. "No." Blaze and Silver said at the same time. "Why not, that would be fun." Sonic said with a big grin on his face. "Ahem, are we interrupting something." Sonic asked as he stepped out of his hiding place and was soon joined by his friends, who where glaring at him. Shadow and Rouge immediately separated from each other and both began blushing.

Sorry again for not updating sooner I didn't how the story should continue and then I wasn't in a writing mood. Anyway I hope you liked the chapter. Next chapter will be uploaded as soon as I know what should happen next.
