Since I had more time I already wrote the second chapter and if the first should already have commands or votes then thanks for all of them. Here's the next chapter.

Somewhere in the forest

Shadow hid behind the bushes to see what's going on. There was a white bat and around her were three men, a white tiger who seems to be the boss of the gang, a black wolf and a brown eagle. "What do you want?" the white bat asked while trying to get away from the robbers. "We just want all your money." the white tiger replied and wanted to take the small bag which was on Rouge's belt. (A/N Rouge also wears a brown belt but I forgot to draw it on the picture) Before the thief could reach her bag she kicked him in the stomach and ran away but she got caught by the other two robbers. "Let me go!!!" Rouge said and tried to get free but failed because the two man were to strong. "You will regret this." the white tiger said and took a knife and the wolf and the eagle began to grin. The white tiger was about to stab her but his knife was suddenly shot out of his hand. 

The three robbers turned into the direction the arrow came from and saw a black hedgehog with red stripes and a bow in his hand. "Let her go or you all will die." Shadow said and was ready to shot another arrow. "Let her go!" the tiger said annoyed and the wolf and the eagle let go of her. Rouge took her basket with the herbs and ran behind Shadow. "And now leave and don't you dare to rob her again." Shadow said angry and the three ran away. "Are you okay?" Shadow asked. "Yeah, thanks for the rescue." Rouge replied. "You're welcome." Shadow replied and gave his arrow back into his quiver. "By the way I'm Rouge, Rouge the Bat." Rouge said and smiled at the black and red hedgehog. "I'm Shadow, Shadow the Hedgehog." Shadow replied and hoped that she don't know that he's a prince. "That's a nice name." Rouge said and shook his hand. "Thanks, you have a nice name too." Shadow replied and Rouge blushed a little. "Oh no, it's almost dark. I have to go home." Rouge said and was about to rush home but was stopped by Shadow. 

"Should I accompany you home? ... I mean, the robbers are still somewhere in the forest and ..." Shadow said and also began to blush. "Okay." Rouge said and took his hand because she already started walking. A few seconds later she let go off his hand and the two were walking side by side. "Don't you have to go home?" Rouge asked. "Sure I have to but my home can wait." Shadow replied. "Oh, okay. ... By the way, where have you learned bow shooting? That was incredible, I have never met a person who can aim as good as you." Rouge said. "I always go into the forest to practice my fighting skills and with the time you get better." Shadow explained. "And what were you doing in the forest?" Shadow asked. "I got herbs for my mother." Rouge replied and then they walked in silence. 

fifteen minutes later

Shadow and Rouge arrived at Rouge's house. "Thanks again for the rescue." Rouge said and smiled at him. "You're welcome. ... I should go home before my parents get worried." Shadow said and wanted to leave. "Wait." Rouge said and disappeared into her house but a few seconds later she came back. "Take this with you. I don't think that you can see that well in the dark." Rouge said and gave Shadow a lantern. "Thanks." Shadow replied. "Can I see you again?" Rouge asked all of a sudden. "Sure and when?" Shadow answered. "Tomorrow in the afternoon, if that's okay with you." Rouge said a bit shy. "I'll be there." Shadow said and walked away. Rouge looked after him until he disappeared in the forest. "I have to tell Blaze and Amy about him." Rouge thought excited and went back into the house where her parents were waiting for her. "Who was that." her father asked. "That was Shadow, he rescued me in the forest." Rouge answered. "Why was he rescuing you, what happened?" her mother asked shocked. "Don't worry, he just rescued me from three robbers." Rouge replied and started eating while her parents just looked worried at each other but then also started to eat.

In the castle of the Dark Kingdom

Shadow's parents were sitting worried in the throne room "Where could he be?" his father asked worried and angry at the same time. "We have to look for him. He's normally always back before sunset." the queen said and started to cry because she was so worried about her son. "I'll let a few knights search for him." the king replied and called five of his best knights. After two minutes the five knights were in the throne room and the king said "Go into the forest and look for our son." The knights nodded and headed out of the castle. "Please let him be okay." Shadow's mother thought and looked out of the window. 

Shadow just jumped over the castle wall and was immediately surrounded by  five knights. "My lord, why did you climb over the wall?" one of the knights asked after he recognized that it was just Shadow who sneaked into the castle. "How often do I have to tell you that you should call me Shadow and not lord." Shadow said annoyed. The knights just ignored him and guided him back into the castle. "By the way your parents are extremely worried about you." one of the other knights said. Shadow just rolled his eyes and continued walking. 

The doors to the throne room opened and the king and the queen looked at their son. "Shadow, I'm so glad you're back." Shadow's mother said and hugged him. "Would you please tell me why you sneaked out of the castle while you were supposed to listen to your teacher." Shadow's father asked angry. "Maybe because it was boring and I wanted to train my fighting skills." Shadow answered annoyed. "Don't speak to in this tone." his father yelled and Shadow gave him a death glare. "Calm down, both of you. Since he came back we can finally eat and Shadow can tell us why he came back so late." the queen yelled and both hedgehogs were silent and they walked out of the throne room. "I just forgot about the time, that's all." Shadow said because he don't want his parents to know about Rouge.
