Okay here's the first Chapter and sorry again for the horrible pictures.

At the castle of the Dark Kingdom

Shadow, once again, sneaked out of the castle because he wanted to go into the forest. He walked in the shadows to avoid being caught. Shadow was almost at the gate but suddenly someone stopped him. "Shadow, where do you think you're going?" his father, a black hedgehog, asked. "I wanted to go into the forest." Shadow answered a bit annoyed because he got caught. "You have no time to play around, you have to study for school." Shadow's father informed him. "Yes father." Shadow said annoyed and followed his father back into the castle while rolling his eyes. 

30 minutes later

"Can't he shut up for once?" Shadow thought as his teacher was telling something about being a king. Shadow continued looking at his teacher and sometimes nodded. Shadow wasn't even listening and thought about other things. "Why do I even have to become a king one day. That's so boring." Shadow thought.

In the Emerald Kingdom

"Rouge could you please make breakfast while I feed the animals." Rouge's mother, a white bat, asked. "Sure, just a second." Rouge said as she finished brushing her hair. Rouge went into the kitchen and took a pan to make scrambled eggs. 

She lives in a small house which lay on the edge of the kingdom. Her bedroom is the smallest room but she don't mind. The house also contains a second bedroom for her parents, a small kitchen and a living room. Rouge's parents were farmers and her father works all day on the fields, he is a black bat. Her mother has to deal with the household and sometimes has to feed the animals. Rouge also helps her mother but she has her own job too., she works as a dressmaker. 

Rouge but the now finished eggs on the table and went to the door. "Mom, dad, breakfast is ready." Rouge yelled and went back into the kitchen to get plates. After five minutes her parents went into the house and they started eating. Fifteen minutes later they finished breakfast and Rouge went to the door. "Bye, see you in about eight hours." Rouge said before leaving. "Bye." her parents replied and also got started with their work.

Rouge walked to the center of the kingdom and on her way she met Sonic and Silver. "Hi you two." Rouge greeted. "Hi Rouge." the two hedgehog said at the same time and continued their sword fight. "Haven't you two something better to do?" Rouge asked. "No" Sonic said. "Not really." Silver added after he dodged Sonic's sword and Rouge just rolled her eyes. "Okay, bye." Rouge said and continued walking. 

10 minutes later

Rouge entered the house and was already hugged by Amy. "Amy let go off me." Rouge commanded. "Sorry but I'm just happy that you're here and didn't get robbed." Amy answered smiling. Rouge smiled back and got to work. "By the way have you seen Blaze today." Amy asked. "No I just saw Sonic and Silver fighting again." Rouge answered. "Typical." Amy answered and giggled. "And hasn't Blaze said that she helps her mother today at school." Rouge said. "Yeah, you're right. I already forgot about that." Amy replied and Rouge giggled.

At the castle of the Dark Kingdom  

Shadow was still listening to his teacher but as the teacher didn't pay attention he sneaked out of the room. Then he got all his weapons and jumped out of the window and climbed over the castle wall to avoid being caught. "Finally freedom." Shadow thought while running into the forest. 

After half an hour he finally reached his goal. There was a waterfall and a small lake. Only Shadow knew about this place and he wasn't going to tell anyone. Shadow climbed up the rock wall and then went behind the waterfall. There was a small cave, in which he has hidden his targets. He placed them on trees or on rocks and then began with his training.

In the Emerald kingdom

"Bye Amy. See you tomorrow." Rouge said. "Bye Rouge." Amy answered but then noticed Rouge's money on the table. "Rouge wait, you forgot your money." Amy yelled after her and gave Rouge her money. "Oh thanks, I almost forgot." Rouge replied and put it into her pocket. "No problem." Amy said giggling and Rouge left the house. 

10 minutes later

"I'm back." Rouge said as she entered her parents' house. "Great that you're back Rouge. Could you do me a little favor?" Rouge's mom said. "Sure, what should I do?" Rouge replied. "Could you go into the forest and bring me a few herbs?" her mom answered. "I'll be right back." Rouge replied and took a basket. She left the house and went into the forest to get the plants. "I love the forest, it's so peaceful here." Rouge thought while listening to the birds. After five minutes she started to search for the herbs her mother wanted.

back in the castle of the Dark Kingdom

"What do you mean with he disappeared?" the king asked. "Well, he sneaked out of the room ... again." Shadow's teacher, a grey fox, answered. "Why can't he for once do what he's told?" the king asked and sat back on his throne. "Don't be mad at him, Shadow just wants to enjoy his live." the queen, a white hedgehog with red hair, said. "I understand that he want to enjoy his live, but he also has to do his duties as a prince." the king said. "By the way it's almost sunset, he'll soon be back." the queen said and went out of the throne room. 

back in the forest

Shadow shot off his last arrow and hit the middle of the target. "Perfect as always!" Shadow thought and collected all his arrows. After five minutes he had all of them and brought the targets back into the cave. "I better hurry, it's almost sunset." Shadow thought and made his way back to the castle but before he could walk away he heard a scream and rushed to the source of the sound.
