Chapter seventy nine
79
It was time to party. Desewa's birthday party was beyond what Aramade expected. At first, Ara thought it was a wedding party. Upon hearing that, Prince Ire made fun of her, but Ara didn't care because she ended up making fun of herself too. What was she expecting? A small get together or let's just celebrate something. Desewa was someone who could pump millions of naira on anything. She should have known Desewa wasn't someone who would plan a cheap party. Aramade thanked God everyone around her was capable, or else it would have been a different story. Aramade couldn't say much about Desewa except that, she has this strong personality, but she was friendly and more welcoming than she expected her to be.
She was done with her Gce exams and had all the time in the world to have fun again. She couldn't imagine or believe she actually went through those scary days with Prince Ire. But of course, she did. She learnt so much and it came with lots of blessings. Prince was doing better and that was a start to being free again. No one to send pictures, threats, or scaring any one of them ever again. Aramade was glad things had gone back to the way they were before. She had witnessed the relationship between the three older brothers and it was beautiful to watch their closeness. She understood Prince Adewale was angry and said those words to make Prince Ire feel bad. He apologised, and she was done holding unto that. There was nothing like suspecting one another anymore, and if there was still any grudge among the brothers and sisters, everywhere was too calm for that yet.
They came together in Prince Ire's Rolls_Royce. Prince Adedamola, Prince Adewale, and Prince Ire himself. Through out the journey, they did a good job teasing her, and Prince Ire just enjoyed himself by laughing at everything.
The moment the girls saw that Aramade was around, they dragged her into their geng and told Prince Ire to have fun alone. It was funny and she wondered how she was going to cope among them, but with Caroline giving her some vibes and the rest of Prince Ire's cousins acting very free with her, she felt relaxed and had fun sitting with them. She became very free, and felt really welcomed by them.
"Laycon!" The girls yelled at the DJ who eventually gave the girl what they wanted. One of laycon's song came in and the girls became more excited.
🎶 Deshinor leleyi o

"🎶ayy, ohh...ayy, ohh..." The girls yelled, very excited.
"Go baby!

Go, go, go Sewa!"
🎶This is hip-hop hurray!
"🎶ayy, ohh...ayy, ohh..." They hailed the birthday girl who danced with so much excitement, not giving a damn whether she got her leg work or not.
"🎶Uh-uh!" Many of them who didn't know that part kept quiet, but Aramade continued. The rap was her favourite part and she didn't let herself down.
"🎶Uh-uh, Uh-uh,
Okay, okay!
Uh, can I talk? woos wanbi

"Ayy! Go Ara!
Go, go, go Ara!
Go baby!
Go, go, go baby!" The girls hailed Ara, and she didn't fail to raise those neatly, manicured red nails, getting some ladies to admire her skin, her voice and her vibe. Even the guys around them wanted to see the lady who was rapping. "🎶okay now, this is hip hop hurray!"
"🎶ayy, ohh....ayy, ohh."
"🎶The way we rap, dem say Biggie ti de."
"🎶ayy, ohh...ayy, ohh!" They chorused together, following the singer accurately, not missing a word. Ara's phone vibrated in her hand. It was Prince Ire. She smiled and decided to excuse herself. Though she was having fun, but deep down, she wanted to be with her man. The moment she stood up, a lot of people who had been admiring her from behind finally got to see her face. She was putting on a red short dress a bit above her knees. The gown was showing a bit of her skin which she never knew was calling so much attention. But then, it was moderate and okay to put on. She understood her body was always getting her the attention. Each step she took was watched by different pairs of eyes till she got to Prince Ire.
To her surprise, Prince Ire was miming to the song the DJ was playing next. It wasn't as if she had never heard him sing before, but singing a Nigerian song sounded really sweet in his mouth. "🎶Pami oh.... Pami oh...
Only Wizzy baby be your daddy oh, daddy oh... Because me I no get time, pami oh... Baby, don't kill my vibe, pami oh..."
"Really!" Ara chuckled and sat beside him. "You are learning so fast."
He gave Ara a one sided smile like, you ain't teaching me anything girl. Then he replied. "I like wizkid though." Prince Ire threw her a wink and continued with the song, singing to Aramade who was listening with all interest. He quickly picked up the next line. "🎶Ebelebe m'oh.. oh oh. See your love is so insane oh. Oh oh...
Na only you wey fit tame oh...
This my head wey dey craze oh...
Baby, girl for you I mad all the time oh
Dem no fit quench our flame oh..
I am not afraid to let you know say,
Say na you I want and I'm loving the things you dey make me do now....."
"🎶Go shawty..." Ara chipped in slowly.
"🎶Treat me like a fool now."
"🎶Oh baby..." Ara chipped in again and the two laughed enjoying the flow. This time Ara decided to continue. "🎶Oh my baby pami oh...pami oh...oh pami oh...pami oh, ofe pami oh..." Then she picked up the next line. "Kini ma shey oh, bobo dudu fe pami oh."
That made Prince Ire laughed and Ara just stopped singing. It was fun and she wouldn't deny the fact it was really nice singing along with him. His voice was calm to listen to. Just like he would have talked to anyone with so much calmness, that was the same way he was miming to the song without much effort. The two stayed together enjoying the party separately.
"My little cuties." Desewa came with a package and handed it over to Aramade. "Thanks for gracing my party with your hotness. I want you to know that we love you and I'm glad he found you." Desewa gave Prince Ire a quick glance but he was pretending to be staring at something else. Just what he wanted, his phone began to ring and he excused himself. Desewa laughed. "Don't mind him," she said to Aramade, and suddenly she became serious. "Thank you for becoming a better part of him. Ire would always say, I'm gonna marry when the time comes. But today, he specifically told me. Desewa, I want to get married and I can't wait. You know why? Because he finally met someone he never wants to lose for the rest of his life." Desewa smiled. "That decision only comes when you meet someone you want to spend the rest of your life with."
Aramade smiled at Desewa. "Thank you so much. The way you all love him really amazes me."
Desewa chuckled. "He's our big daddy. Now I think we have just four years to wait and plan this wedding."
Aramade laughed. "I'm doing my masters also."
Desewa shook her head at her. "I'm sorry girl, that's gonna be in your husband's house." The two ladies laughed. "I have to go now." Desewa excused herself.
