“What are you doing?” It was her voice, the familiar voice of the daughter of the Queen of Evil Torturers.

He didn't even blinked while holding a tube with different color of poisonous liquids. At the age of eight, Danz was already exposed to this kind of stuff. Her mother is a Doctor and so his father. He wants to step further more that's why he also wants to become a Doctor and Scientist. He wants to discover everything when it comes to drugs and medicines.

“Hmm, you look good in your laboratory gown. Not bad.” Lumapit pa sa kanya ang batang Reyna—Helen Aiszel.

She has this unique eyes, her features at the age of five was so regal. She's indeed a daughter of a Queen.

“What are you doing anyway?” Tanong pa nito at saka humalukipkip. “Oh! You don't want to talk to me because you'll lose your focus, right?”

“I can talk while doing this. I will not lose my focus, Queen Aiszel.” Sagot niya habang seryosong nagsasalin ng pulang likido sa malaking tube. Danz was trying to create a new medicine using a poison.

Poisons can be medicine too and medicines can be poison too. That's how it works.

“I'm impressed. You're pretty good at this. Rocky was right, you're brilliant. You have an amazing mind. I like it.”

For some reason, her compliments made him uneasy, hindi malaman ni Danz kung sa paanong paraan but he likes it.

Tumayo siya ng maayos nang maisalin niya ng maayos iyong red liquid sa malaking tube. “What are you doing here, Queen Aiszel?”

She shrugs. “A little bored. Wala si Rocky and I don't wanna see Hellion and the others. They're so ugly.” Nilibot nito ang tingin sa kabuoan ng laboratory nila. “It's pretty nice here.” Hinawakan nito ang isang poison liquid sa tube. “Wow! It amazed me being here.”

“Be careful not to touch anything Queen Aiszel. Most of them are poisonous liquid.”

“Really?” Parang na-excite pa ito sa narinig. “These are really cool! I should ask my Mother Queen to let me hang around here.”

Hindi niya masyadong nakikita ang panganay na anak ng Reyna but seeing her amuse face right now made him uneasy, really. Hindi niya nga maintindihan kung bakit. Hindi niya mahanap iyong logic ng nararamdaman niya ngayon.

“I like how your brain functions to create this kind of things. Someday I will marry you, Doctor Scientist.”

DANZ was flipping the pages of his notebook, pinag aaralan niya iyong bagong drogang nadiskubre niya ngayon. Actually, kakatapos lang ng surgery niyang ginawa sa asawa ni Rowen Costalles. Nasunog kasi ang balat nito mula ulo hanggang paa sa Hospital kung saan ito nanganak, nire-construct niya lang ang mukha ng babae but that is not Rowen Costalles real wife at mukhang alam naman yata iyon ni Rowen but he still insist to made her look like his wife.

Damn! He can't understand those people who's in love. They are so pathetic.

What's so good of being in love? It's just an annoying feelings which will ruin you for the rest of his life. Love is such a waist of time.

“Danz! I need to use the laboratory. Anyway, nadeliver na ba iyong inorder ko na bagong set ng test tubes, cylinder at beaker? I need to use the fuse and steerer by the way. I discovered something interesting that might change the whole society.” Bungad iyon sa kanya ng kapatid niyang si Edzel nang pumasok ito sa opisina niya.

He closed his notebook. “You're being a noble man again, Edzel. Ano naman iyan?”

“Medicine for AIDS.” Diretsong sagot nito.

Danz cocks a brow upon hearing that. “For what?”

“I think I discovered a drug to cure AIDS, Danz. But it's too complicated to make, isang maling proseso lang lason na ang magagawa ko, hindi gamot.” Seryosong sagot nito habang may tinitignan sa folder nito.

“What do you mean drugs?” It is obvious that Danz is more interested by poisonous drugs than medicine.

Tumigil si Edzel sa ginawa nitong pag-iscan ng file folders nito at lumingon sa kanya. “It can be worst than Flakka drugs.”

Flakka drugs? Iyong zombie drugs na kumakalat sa different foreign country? What a waste but then it can be more dangerous than that drug, he wonder what will be the reaction he will get if he test it again to a cat or a rat.

Pinaglalaruan ni Danz ang tech pen niya. “Edzel can you lend me the procedure of that medicine.”

“What are you up to again, Danz?”

He defensively raised his hands. “What? Pag aaralan ko lang din. Baka makatulong ako. After all, iyon naman ang gusto mo diba? Ang makatulong ako sa bansa kahit na kilala lang tayo sa mga codename na ginagamit natin?”

Sarkastiko iyon, alam niyang alam iyon ng kapatid niya. And yes, iyong ibang nadediskubre nilang gamot ay binibigay nila sa DOH under their codename. They're are licensed Doctor and Scientist. May tiwala ang Department of Health sa kanila that's why they respect their privacy. Kumpleto rin sila sa papeles. Iyon nga lang si Edzel ang humahawak ng bagay na iyan, pagdating sa ganito walang tiwala ang kapatid niya sa kanya dahil baka lasonin niya pa raw ang "Sambayanang Pilipino." How pathetic.

Bakit naman niya lalasonin ang ibang tao kung wala naman itong koneksyon sa mga torturers.

Ang mga taong matagal na nilang pinagsisilbihan ay siya ring mga taong kinamumuhian ni Danz Etherious ngayon.

“Pathetic leeches. Tss.”
